This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon…read more I paid $85 for a pedicure, and that is with a discount because it was my first time there and honestly, I don't feel like I should have been charged at all based on the service I received. The problems started immediately. I told the technician that I had gel polish on my toes, and instead of properly removing it, she started drilling it off. It was painful, and I told her she was going to damage my nails. Eventually, another technician came over and removed it. It still wasn't done the way I'm used to, but at least it wasn't hurting me. Next, I asked to see the polish colors. They only had one small basket of polish, and many of the bottles looked old with chipped paint and worn labels. When I asked if they had color books or additional options, I was told, "This is it." The actual pedicure was rushed from start to finish. I even timed it because it felt so fast. Every step, including the hot stones, lotion, and oil, lasted about five minutes or less. The technician never cut my toenails, cleaned up my cuticles, shaped them, or even filed them before applying polish. These are basic parts of a pedicure. By the time she started painting my nails, I was honestly trying not to cry from frustration. The polish application looked sloppy and uneven. It genuinely looked like a child had painted my toenails. When she finished painting, I told her I was done and ready to leave. She insisted there were more steps, but at that point I had completely lost confidence in the service. I went to the front to pay, and another employee asked if I wanted a manicure. After the experience I had just had, I couldn't believe she was seriously asking. I was visiting from out of town and was in a pinch to get my nails done. Big lesson learned. I would not return, and I definitely would not recommend this salon.

They then proceeded to make me wait for over an hour, even though they said 15-20 minutes for the wait-time. I spent $70 on a pedicure. It was their deluxe spa pedicure, which includes callus removal, hot stone massage, paraffin wax, etc. I also opted for gel polish, so this pedicure was $60 before the tip I left. I never mind paying for something that's worth the cost. I was very happy with the results. The massages were amazing and my toes looked great! Fast forward to 3 days ago when I went back for another pedicure. Despite how long they made me wait the first time, I wanted the same great massage and polish result so I chose to go back. The manager even recognized that I came back and thanked me, even though I had to wait the first time. I only had to wait a few minutes and picked the exact same pedicure as last time; I had a different tech though. He asked if I wanted him to help with my ingrown toenails and I agreed. I understand it's risky, but I trusted him. 3 of my toes are now purple and infected; one of them wasn't even one of the ones with the ingrown...he just clipped the cuticles too much. Also...he didn't do half the things that were done the first time that are listed on their menu and supposed to be done. He barely massaged my legs/feet and didn't do the hot stones at all. Yes, I paid just as much. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Shame on this salon for charging what they do and not delivering consistent service where someone pays for it!!! ESPECIALLY when everything that is supposed to be included is written on the service menu!

My tech began working on me and for the next 2 hours this continued. The tech must have been brand new. She was timid, she was not sure of what to do and had to keep asking the owner and others around what to do and how to do it. When she found out what to do it was done very poorly. This tech should have never been put in a position to work on any customer as she was not ready or prepared. She should have worked on other workers to get the training she needed because she lacked any skills at all. My nails were uneven, and I had areas where my skin was cut and bleeding. The massage did not happen. This tech was not sure what to do or how to do so she skipped around the whole service leaving one thing done on one foot and not on the other. My wife's pedicure started 25 minutes after mine did. However, her service was completed a full hour prior to mine. I charged full price ($45.00) for this horrible experience with a tech who is not trained. We mentioned the issues to the tech and other workers around her. Little to nothing was done. Another tech with more experience wanted to trim the skin on my toes more but by this time they were already red and hurting.

After signing into their system, they again asked why I was there. What's the point of having an electronic sign in system that tells them why I was there, if they are going to ask me anyway? Then when picking out the color I felt very rushed. I wanted to take my time to select the right color for me and they were pushy about what color to use. When I had selected my color, all staff had disappeared so no one was around to tell them my selection. When I was assigned a tech, the tech then asked me again what service I wanted. They aren't very organized and clearly don't communicate with each other. The tech seemed disappointed that I liked to keep my nails short and was disapproving about it. During the manicure, an employee with nothing else to do was watching videos loudly on his phone nearby. They need a separate break room where they can do that rather than being disruptive around customers. Manicure was ok, but due to the over aggressive nature of staff, I won't come back.
