During my appointment it became apparent Jessica did not even know how to do gel glitter ombré, so I pivoted to just doing a simple layer of glitter on top of the neutral color I had picked out, so what I walked away with was nothing like what I asked for. My nail polish isn't super even, and I need to touch up the filing. I simply don't like my nails, and am disappointed this is what I will have for the holidays. I totally understand that not every nail tech is skilled at nail art, but then make that clear. Tell the client it's not possible, and that you can only do the basics. I would have just went with red nails if I had originally known what I was going to get by trying to get nail art. My pedicure was good.

They then proceeded to make me wait for over an hour, even though they said 15-20 minutes for the wait-time. I spent $70 on a pedicure. It was their deluxe spa pedicure, which includes callus removal, hot stone massage, paraffin wax, etc. I also opted for gel polish, so this pedicure was $60 before the tip I left. I never mind paying for something that's worth the cost. I was very happy with the results. The massages were amazing and my toes looked great! Fast forward to 3 days ago when I went back for another pedicure. Despite how long they made me wait the first time, I wanted the same great massage and polish result so I chose to go back. The manager even recognized that I came back and thanked me, even though I had to wait the first time. I only had to wait a few minutes and picked the exact same pedicure as last time; I had a different tech though. He asked if I wanted him to help with my ingrown toenails and I agreed. I understand it's risky, but I trusted him. 3 of my toes are now purple and infected; one of them wasn't even one of the ones with the ingrown...he just clipped the cuticles too much. Also...he didn't do half the things that were done the first time that are listed on their menu and supposed to be done. He barely massaged my legs/feet and didn't do the hot stones at all. Yes, I paid just as much. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Shame on this salon for charging what they do and not delivering consistent service where someone pays for it!!! The main issue though was her attitude. I had her redo it because I didn't like the way she made the ghost and she was very disrespectful toward me and seemed very annoyed that I wanted her to redo it. I ended up just telling her to do regular French because she was unable to complete the design. This was very upsetting and I would recommend taking your business elsewhere if you want well done designs and respectful communication.

BE VERY CAREFUL at Enso as they may add charges for services without clearly telling you the cost--or even that the service is an add-on. I was charged $60 for a regular toenail polish change and a 10-minute soak in warm water. That was literally my entire service. Meanwhile, both of my friends received full Tier 1 pedicures--including soaking, massage, hot towels, scrubbing, nail trimming/filing, cuticle care, and polish--and also paid $60. When we sat down, my nail tech offered to let my feet soak for 10 minutes while I chose my color. He never told me the soak was an additional paid service. I've had this same toenail polish change at Enso 3-4 times before, and the soak was always included. My nails were already trimmed and ready to polish. I specifically did not request filing, cutting, massage, scrubbing, or any other pedicure services. The tech spent maybe 10-15 minutes with me applying a base coat, regular polish, and topcoat. At checkout, I was shocked to see a $60 bill. When I questioned it, I was told the 10-minute soak is "typically $50," but they reduced it to $30. Since when does a 10-minute soak in water cost $50--or even $30? Most importantly, I was never told it was an additional charge.
