Anna (?) was so funny, quick (literally the fastest haircut I've ever had), and showed me step by step what she was doing and made sure it was to my liking. Then, she threaded my eyebrows and they look awesome. Fastest threading of my life, as well. DO NOT let the plaza deter you. The interior is nice and clean. I will NEVER see another salon in Gville. Also.... My total for cut (big chop and curtain bangs) plus threading was $39!!! You cannot beat the prices, efficiency, and satisfaction of this salon. read more

I went on Friday to get my eyebrows micro bladed. I've never had them done before but had done months of research and finally decided to go for it. I was a little nervous, but excited. Asha was AMAZING. I honestly cannot say enough great things about her or my entire experience. She is an extremely kind lady, and extremely talented at what she does. She explained the entire process before we started- what she was going to do (down to how she mixed the color and everything), what to expect during the procedure, what to expect in the next few days, and what to expect in the following weeks. She made absolutely sure that I liked the shape of what I was going to get before she would start. She asked my input many times and tweaked the design a couple of times before we were happy with them. Again, she was very kind and very patient. She then gave me my own little mirror to watch the whole process if I wanted to. Even though she had explained everything at the beginning, when she started the process she explained everything she was doing, again, as she was doing it so I wouldn't be anxious or unprepared. I love my new brows so much! They are definitely a confidence boost as my natural ones have gotten thin and light as I've grown older. Once they're healed I will post before and after pictures. Fast, efficient, cheap ($14), and a great result! I hadn't had my brows done in a while, but the salonist (Kim?) did a fantastic job and was friendly as can be. She stacks you up in 5 minute slots, so you're in and out in a jiff. read more

Single process hair color for $170! This is not Beverly Hills. The stylist said because she used the flat iron. Really! I think if she knew how to use a round brush and blow dry she could have skipped the aggressive flat iron routine. She applied no heat protector or product. My hair has texture - I am mixed race but I can use my drug store blow dryer and brush and do my hair way better. Been here before and she didn't charge this price. So I was shocked. But always beware of businesses that don't have a price list. Fool me once! Will go back to Miami to get my hair done next time. read more

The salon was extremely clean, and staff was quick to attend me for an eyebrow threading service. My eyebrows were absolutely stunning afterwards, and the lady was able to correctly clean/fix the shape of my brow will zero issues. I will be coming back to this place in a couple of weeks for more services! Highly recommend this place to anyone already living in Gainsville or those new to the area! read more

I've been going to them to get my eyebrows and hair done for years. Asha and her team are amazing! They are quick, kind, and always do a great job. I uaually call before I go there to make sure the wait isn't too long to get my eyebrows threaded, but typically never takes longer than 15 minutes. I've also had my hair cut and colored there and liked it every time. The color they use is great quality and the best thing is everything is such a great price! 10/10 recommend!! read more

She was super nice! I'd give a 5 for my brows but a 1 for my hair cut. My hair was a mess and if she wasn't so nice I'd ask for a refund. I had to go somewhere to have them clean it up and ended up paying twice for what should have just been a trim. But my brows are perfect... read more

I always come here for my eyebrows, bikini and everything overall, but the last two times the new girl gave me the worse experience. She was doing my upper lip while yelling at someone in the phone. She was yelling in my ear and I even felt her spitting in my face. She proceed to do my bikini which is the most sensitive part and she should be paying all her attention but she burned my skin, left some spots, didn't do a good job overall and she started crying while continue to yell in the phone. If you go here make sure you are getting the owner of the business. read more

She did a great job and I haven't been anywhere else. The hours are great so I can go after work if I can't make it on the weekend. The webpage was very easy to navigate, making the appointment process very easy to do. This salon is located inside the plaza and was easy to find. Parking is plentiful. The owner of the place, who is also a great eyebrow master, greeted me with a warm smile and asked me to wait until she was done with a few ladies that were there before me. When it was my turn, she took the time to ask me what I was looking for as far as my eyebrow shape. I am very happy with the way my eyebrows look, with the salon, and mostly with the service! I just moved to Gainesville in August 2018. And moving to a different city is overwhelming, i mean as a girl you have to look for a place for your hair, nail, eyebrows, waxing, etc. I am so happy that I found this place. The price is reasonable and the lady who works there is such a sweetheart. She welcomes you and make you feel comfortable. I found Great Cut and Brow while searching for a place to get my eyebrows done. I typically get my eyebrows waxed, but decided to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time at Great Cut and Brow. I was very pleased with the way my eyebrows turned out. The woman who did my eyebrows was very precise and my eyebrows have never looked better.
