As far as I could tell, the syrup flavors in their winter holiday drinks aren't listed online on their socials or through their online ordering. Purdees coffee - coffee is coffee but I really do appreciate having a warm and comfy/cozy place to go and hang out w/my friends. I only recently discovered the upstairs lounge area. The folks who work there are so kind, professional and polite. A real rarity these days. Both locations do a great job with customer service, creative coffee drinks and amazing quiche! Pretty decent breakfast menu, limited lunch menu. I get a different type of drink every week and have never been disappointed. A Richmond favorite for sure! read more

The downtown (inasmuch as this one main street is a downtown) location of Purdy's has some differences from the one that's a little bit more isolated. This one has a historic old building atmosphere. It also doesn't seem to have quite the same food options; serving only breakfast and apparently no salads or sandwiches. My brownie came with a corner missing, perhaps because of its crumbly texture, but was warm and melted and quite indulgent. My chai latte tasted similar to the one I got at the other locations, with some rich syrup (butterscotch, perhaps), complimenting the spices and tea. I thought the other location made it a tad bit better, but both locations were nice. This one doesn't have a drive-through. read more

I work as a travel nurse and I ALWAYS look forward to my morning coffee from Purdy's. I get a sugar-free vanilla iced latte with cinnamon and oak milk and it is delicious. Everyone at the shop is so friendly and fast. read more

The staff was very friendly, but I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and I was disappointed! They put a very small portion of the chicken salad and loaded it with a bunch of mixed lettuce. I paid 12 $ for a sandwich and a ice tea. read more

The smallest serving of chicken salad I have ever been served - literally an ice cream scoop full on a bed of fresh spinach with some cut up apple pieces for $9. Flavor was good, just not worth that price at all. read more

Overall: 3 stars for service and seasonal alone. Food/Drinks: Each time I've visited Purdy's the iced coffee has been terrible. It tastes like canned green beans. Their raspberry white chocolate mocha and lavender lemonade are both great. Service: The service is wonderful. Considering the price and dissatisfaction of the iced coffee, I asked for a refund. They refunded me my money and remade the drink however, it was no better. Stick to Starbucks and Dunkin for coffee, speciality and non coffee drinks are great at Purdy's. read more

The drinks here are absolutely delicious. Ordered the Russian sawmill, a take on a spicy chai. Hands down the most delicious drink I've ever tasted!! We also ordered the farmhouse breakfast sandwich. Second visit. This time I was NOT happy. I ordered a latte and a ham biscuit. I asked first how long the biscuit would take because I had to get back down the street to the funeral home for a 10a appointment. The biscuit cam out in 3-4 minutes. The latte took a good 15 minutes and when I saw a customer about 7 minutes behind me get his coffee and leave, I walked up to ask about my missing latte. The barista told me that there were other drinks that were quicker to make so she made them first. Livid. Oh... and my latte was not hot and it had foam which I asked to not have. I did. It have time to have it remade. Will not be back again. read more

Had a great visit to Purdeys new location on Bill Hill Rd. The restaurant moved due to the Pandemic from there downtown location so as to have a drive thru. The staff were courteous and it was relatively fast in the drive thru (there were several cars in the line). I ordered the barbeque wrap with cole slaw. The wrap was a wheat wrap that was slightly toasted. The BBQ chicken was tasty and the cole slaw was inside the wrap which is how I like it. Stupidly I ordered cole slaw as a side as I did not understand it was also inside the wrap. That is on me I did not read the menu closely in the drive thru. Next time I will order kettle chips. The coffee is also top notch. So glad that these folks have figured out a way to adapt and survive. Drive up and get some coffee, breakfast or lunch. read more

I took the kids out to the lake Reba aquatic park and was recommended to stop here for a quick breakfast. Excellent recommendation! The beekeeper latte was absolutely delicious! I have never had a coffee drink with that flavor profile before and I loved it. Very unique. The cinnamon roll was probably the best one I have ever had. Just the right amount of butter to cinnamon to frosting ratio. The bagel sandwich was really good too. I usually prefer a fried egg on my bagel sandwiches. This one had a scrambled egg. But nonetheless still good! Will definitely return next time we head out to lake Reba. read more

The one on main is not as good as Big Hill. Not sure why there's a difference but there is. Wish staff would be a little more attentive. They always seem tried or just not very pleasant. For a small town coffee shop I hoped it would feel warmer than a big coffee chain. read more

This place is so cute. When we went in, the barista was welcoming and kind. It was a real crowd - just an old couple and us inside. Husband got some sort of mocha coffee with raspberry puree in it. Don't ask me for any details on that, I don't drink coffee, okay? He loves their coffee. Much better than Starbucks, tastes like the real deal. If you like raspberry, try it. We got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, a blueberry muffin, and a blueberry bagel. All three were excellent. If you're a little peckish and want a place to chill, come here! read more

I am a Door Dash driver and there was an issue with an order I was fulfilling and the manager did not handle the situation properly. When I arrived for the order the manager refused to take responsibility for their mistake and provide me with the full order the customer placed. This is what the manager explained. "In order to partner with Door Dash, we would have to get a Samsung tablet but we didn't want to so we went with the second option of having an automated message system call them to place the order after the customer submits it through door dash. When we received the call my employee who answered it did not write down the full order." Because of this they only had 3/5 items ready that were already paid for by the customer. Even after I showed her everything on the list that the customer ordered she refused to fulfill the rest of the order. I spent 25 minutes of my time talking with the manager and with Door Dash support. There was no way for me or the customer to cancel the order so I was left with no choice but to take the customer half of her order and risk getting a negative rating. This is how I make a living right now and I missed other order opportunities because of her. I am so disappointed in the way this manager handled this situation and for expecting me and the customer to pay for her employee's mistake. Edit: After some research I found out the manager giving me trouble was the owner. I will not be supporting this business any longer. read more

Probably the most diverse place we saw in all of Kentucky. They have BOMB coffee. The espresso is delicious and they have a lot of cute merchandise with cute apparel and hats and the like. I had their Lavender Honey Latte which was perfect with just the perfect amount of lavender since it can often be overpowering. They also have this really cute pay it forward corner where they have coffee sleeves of a descriptor that if you match you can take it and get a free coffee that someone has already paid for. I loved that so much! Such a great idea :) read more
