No place for my Teddy to be home away from home than pups @play! Great staff, creative activities and even lunch if you didn't bring your own!!! Great service and nice backyard for playing. I have lots of friends here and even a vet if I need one. And Don is really funny read more

My girl loves pups at play, especially when we go away and she gets to sleep there. We have been using them for about 3 years now and they are great. They post pics of the pups playing and are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend pups at play Montclair. read more

Pups at Play Livingston - Penny living the new high rise beds at pups at play - Pet Groomers Near Me - Livingston, New Jersey

Love Pups@Play Montclair! After getting a puppy during Covid quarantine, I was eager for him to socialize and he loves going to daycare! He is always exhausted and sleeps well after a long day of play. I love that the dogs get to play in the pool outside and run around with the hose--Archie loves water so it's a great option. I always boarded my previous dog in the city, even after I moved to Montclair, so I am excited to have this as a place to board Archie when we are back to traveling. read more

Tara, especially, always puts my dog first and treats her like her own dog! She's always excited to see her, and my dog always comes back to me soft and smelling so good! Actually, everyone there, in general, is so kind! 1000% recommend this place for grooming! read more

This place consistently goes above and beyond. The staff are wonderful and very reactionary to all our requests... 6 stars!! read more

The groomer is extremely rude and handles the dogs like stuffed animals. She has zero regard for their feelings and no respect for the owners. read more

We have tried other doggie day care and boarding places and we have found the perfect home for our fur family! The facility is in a great location, it's clean and modern and can accommodate all ages and temperaments ! The most important thing is the staff, the heart of pups@play! Thus team is wonderful, dog lovers, great personalities and really dedicated to taking great care of each pup! I appreciate them greatly and am so appreciative of this place! Thank you!! read more

Pups at Play Livingston - Buddy after a fun day at Pups@play! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Livingston, New Jersey

I highly recommend bringing your dog to Pups@Play. The staff is friendly and polite. The facility is modern, large and clean. But Cooper's opinion counts the most, and he expresses it by wagging his tail upon arrival. He can't wait to see his friends. read more

Very professionally run. We bring our dog our annual east coast vacation and PAP is our go to day care spot in Livingston area. Our pup was so tired of play after daycare and boarding that she slept whole afternoon by herself alone after getting her back. They know her by name after first day. Highly recommended. read more

Pups @ Play has been a game changer for us and our dog, Holly. This facility is top notch; from the exceptional care of the workers to the services provided. We're so lucky that we found this business and our dog is thriving. They've stepped in when we had a family emergency and boarded Holly for almost a week on short notice and we were so relieved that she was in such great care and we didn't have to worry about her the entire time. She happily runs through the doors when we drop her off for daycare in the morning and she sleeps like a baby when she gets home. The employees there really care about the dogs and you can guarantee they're in the best care possible. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to use for daycare, boarding or grooming. We're so grateful that we found this place and look forward to many years of care from them! read more

My Bentley loved playing with friends :) the staff is so kind and really took their time with any questions I had and the girls were so polite. What a great experience ***** :) read more

Happy Doggie! We went away for a full week and our dog had never been away from us that long. He is 7 years old. When I picked him up he was happy, calm and definitely had been well treated for a long stay. I highly recommend Pups @ Play! read more

Exceptional service by the Pups @ Play team! My pup always loves going in and is tired by the time she gets home so win win!

Called about grooming and I wouldn't take my pup there from the 15 seconds of the phone call. Very rash and tough. Your not going near my pup. read more

Be very careful with this business. Very unprofessional staff interferes with the animals. While the groomer may do a good job, the staff may prevent your dog from getting proper care. Choose a different place for grooming. Had a very bad experience. read more

My puppy loves Pups@Play, and so do I. They are attentive, trustworthy, and clearly love their furry customers. I am very comfortable using Pups for boarding as well, I know he will be taken well taken care of. Making an appointment is easy on the website, and there is no prepay. Just a courtesy notice if you have to cancel, more time is needed for holiday weekends, which makes sense. They do a good job with baths as well! I moved out of Livingston but I will still use Pups@Play on weekends, holidays and for boarding :) read more

Sam is always happy when he goes in there. He loves the staff, and they love him. A wonderful place.

My dog Bentley loves going to pups at play! He gets excited when we say we r going in the car to go play. He is very happy when we pick him up and he comes home and takes a long nap as he's tired from the day. It's a great feeling knowing he's happy and enjoys seeing all his doggy friends. read more

You cannot beat the prices and the service with care and love with every dog that enters this place! They treat every dog as their own and put your furmily member first. (lol "furmily") I'm pretty sure with every bath your dog gets, they get a free little something added to their collar! read more

Took my dog out of pups at play. There are only two employees that I like heather and Samantha sometimes. There are some newer people that I don't have an opinion on because I haven't met them. I believe Carmen is alone in the morning during drop offs which means no one is watching the rooms if she's checking people in. Some folks seem cranky I don't want to point out names. I don't see a genuine love for dogs other than heather and Samantha tbh. However when the owner tells you they are going to kill your dog on two separate occasions for eating their mural that guess who paid for. Imagine if I told her I'm gonna kill one of her dogs! Why would anyone who has dogs say that to someone else. It's common sense! You don't tell a dog owner your going to kill their dog! You know it's time to leave. Also I think they are understaffed and too many dogs in a small space. My dog is barely in the posts anymore. You have to pay for an appearance most of the time. One kid Brandon I was watching him struggle with putting a harness he didn't know how it goes on smh! Response to Lori: one two separate occasions you told me you would kill my dog. TWICE!!! It's apparent you didn't want him there and anyone who goes there think about it if you don't cell phones around the dogs but you opened a second location you can easily install video cameras for customers to view. Half the time the pups in one room are alone. Which is NOT okay. Like I said I have nothing against the employees but you saying you are going to kill my dog twice was my last straw!!! read more

My dog Finley loves Pups @ Play! Whenever we pull into the parking lot he is so excited! He runs right in and doesn't look back! So happy I have a place he can go to play and loves :) read more

A very successful first visit. I own an anxious Chorkie. She did very well due to the sensitive and professional care she received.

We started using Pups@Play a few months ago to bring our rescued Lab mix to Day Care as well as training. We are very pleased with the facility, which is new & very clean, the staff is wonderful, and Heather, trainer did a great job with Axle. He loves when we drop him off for daycare & believe he's disappointed when we pick him up. We highly recommend Pups@Play for all your pets needs. read more

Took my small Havanese there (Montclair location) today for what they call a "Temperament Test". They threw my puppy into a room with about 30 dogs and didn't even look up. Two young girls were in the room chatting away until another dog attacked my dog. Then they just swatted the other dog away and continued the conversation. My dog was terrified. There was no "Temperament Test"~not even an acknowledgement that my puppy was there. Needless to say I took her home. read more

Pups @Play is absolutely the best! I'm a single dog mom and trying to juggle life gets tough sometimes but knowing I can keep my pup at daycare in a safe and loved atmosphere while I'm at work is something I am beyond thankful for!! The hours are unbeatable and the staff is extremely friendly. I recommend Pups @Play Montclair to everyone!! Nora and I are super grateful for all the love!! Keep it up! read more

Great place if you don't have a place to leave you puppy with. & my puppy was a bit sad because he misses home at 1st. When I picked him up he was so so happy :) like he had a good time :) read more

So I've been having my dog groomed here for about 5 years. Melody does an excellent job and loves her job. I now have 2 dogs to be groomed and even as an existing customer I can't get an appointment that's less than 2 months out. When I told the girl making the appointment that was unacceptable and I would have to go somewhere else, she could care less. I have left messages for Melody to call me but I don't think she gets them. So now Pups@play loses 2 customers. I just don't get it. Niether do they. Not the same as when they first opened. read more

Amazing facility. Friendly caring people. Dr. Weiner is one of a kind Veterinarian. He takes his time explaining everything to you and truly listens to what you say. I just can't say enough wonderful things about Pups@play read more

Review is specifically for the vet clinic. I have never used the boarding or grooming services here. I have been taking my 2 dogs here to see Dr Wiener and his staff for the past year when we moved to the area. We originally met Dr.Wiener at another vet clinic and followed him to pups at play in Livingston. He is BY FAR the most caring and knowledgeable vet I've used in the past 20 years of being a dog owner. He genuinely cares for the animals and always answers any questions. Accommodating beyond any other Dr I've met, He is literally a god send since my Brussels griffon was recently diagnosed with diabetes and Cushing disease. He worked with me to get a treatment plan in place which wasn't an easy task because his blood sugar wouldn't stabilize and he always checked in. My other dog who is an 11 year old toy Yorkie has a handful of existing health issues and Dr.Wiener has been great with him also. His staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. So glad we found them! Thanks Dr Wiener and staff! read more

We had a great grooming experience with our pug. The stuff did an amazing job: the treatment lasted for over 1.5 hours, her hair just unbelievably silky and that professional brushing result is very hard to achieve at home. read more
