Today, I took in my Maltese and when I came to pick her up, whoever did the grooming on 11/19/24 did a complete hack job. My dog literally looks inbred and not like a dog. I expressed dissatisfaction to the Salty Dog owner Greg and I basically said, you don't honestly think she looks okay? Can you offer me a discount or something?" And his reply was, "sorry sweetie that'll be $65" UNBELIEVABLE! Did not even say sorry, did not offer to work with me on the cost, no offer to fix it... NO CLASS AND SO RUDE! They do not care about the customer here and I will never be bringing my dog here again. I've added photos so you can see how they butchered my dog. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I will mention my dog is a senior dog, has anxiety and isn't the easiest to handle. Be that as it may, what the owner should have done was if that was going to be an issue, or the groomer felt uncomfortable or knew they would not be able to cut my dog's hair properly, Greg the owner should have called me and told me to pick up my dog.... Not let the groomer continue the service with intent to charge me afterward with her looking that way! The owner should have called me to pick up the dog! Shame.

I take my dog to Banfield Veterinarian that is located in this Petsmart. It is excellent. The staff…read moreis very capable and compassionate. One time I thought that my 18 year old Border Colie was dying. We had to carry him in. They ended up referring us to a neurologist for animals. This last time my dog had a urinary tract infection. He was diagnosed immediately and given medication that cured him. I am always afraid to go to the vet, especially since my dog is so old, but the staff here makes it easy for me and always clams my fears. At times they had to keep him there and he seemed OK with that. It is always fun to go pet shopping while waiting for your turn at the vet. They allow pets in the store. One problem with that though...my dog always ends up peeing or pooping in the store because he smells the scent of other animals. The staff is always right there to clean up after him. God bless them. They truly love animals!

If I could give zero stars I would…read more.. Dropped my dog off yesterday AM to get him groomed. I was told 4 hrs. After more than 6 hrs I went to the front desk asking for my dog. Two girls working on one small dog in there. The smaller brunette stated, " yes he's been ready". I asked why nobody called me when he was finished. She had no idea why. The girl replied, "let me look it up.... He was finished over 2 hrs ago." I went back to the cashier to complain and he replied, "we have nothing to do with them...they are completely separate from petsmart." Nobody wanted to take responsibility as to why my dog was unnecessarily caged for several hrs without a phone call to pick him up. Furthermore, the groomers work inside petsmart, so yes they are ultimately responsible for everything that happens in there. I will NEVER bring my dog back there again!
