DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE EVER!! This has been truly the worst experience I have ever had. My dog is a Pomeranian. She has been having problems on her coat (dry skin). When i went to Scenthound, I specifically told the lady that my dog had coat & skin problems, that I had grown her coat for 5 months and was giving her medication for that, and to please DONT shave her and to just cut her hair down. I specifically said that Pomeranians are not supposed to be shaved all the way down because it damages the undercoat. I also told her that i like my dog's head fluffly, rounded, and longer in the head than in the body. Like a puppy cut. When I went to pick my dog up, I literally started crying. She was completely shaved, even on her face, the shaving was completely uneven all around, there were holes and patches all over, all the hair around her neck and head was completely shaved down. The excuse the lady gave me was that the dog was "moving a lot" which is not a valid excuse. She then told me that the groomer that treated my Pom is fairly new. You DONT give a Pomeranian to be groomed by a beginner groomer when he/she is not trained or under supervision of an experienced one. This breed has a delicate coat and every groomer should know that. This has NEVER happened to me at another groomer. This is completely unacceptable. I am heartbroken at this as I will need to start coat treatment for my dog ALL OVER AGAIN... hopefully her coat grows back to normal. These places are supposed to take care of all the dogs they take in but they literally didnt care about my dog's needs or my wishes when I specifically instructed the lady what I wanted. The receptionist who checked me out , treated me kindly when she saw me in distress , she didnt charge me for the service and apologized for the inconvenience and told me she would speak to the manager. However, this should have never happened and noone should experience this at any groomer. read more

The two girls working the front were very friendly. I explained it was my dogs first time actually being inside a "pet spa" and that he has some skin allergies. She was super sweet with him and recommended a hypoallergenic shampoo. I got a phone call when he was all done and came to pick him back up it was about 45minutes. My dog smells amazing and he's super clean. I couldn't be happier. Side note* it's super hard finding somewhere that will take pit bulls. When I called to make his appointment they didn't even hesitate when I said his breed. Super awesome! read more

Bath and nail trim. Bath? My dog did not get a bath. He was still visibly dirty. Smelled better, I guess that was a spray. They called me within 25 minutes of dropping him off. How can one give a bath and nail trim in 25 minutes. They didn't even brush him. $42.00 for nothing. I'm disputing the payment as Scenthound-Wellington did not perform the service that I paid for. We brought our mini schnauzer and mini golden doodle in and they completely butchered both of their cuts. They look absolutely terrible. The golden doodle was supposed to have a haircut last month but when I brought him in for his appointment they said he was only scheduled for a bath and they punted to the next month. So even though we've been bringing him in monthly for maintenance and paying for this membership, they still made him look absolutely awful. I'm so disappointed in this place. read more

Was offered a free bath for my dog when we adopted him from Peggy Adams earlier this month. Called to make an appointment and was told that if we wanted him towel or blown dry it would be an additional $22 otherwise he would be given back to us soaking wet. No thank you. I tried to book with Scenthound in Landsdowne and have had the most disappointing, unprofessional experience with them. After disclosing that my dog's rabies vaccine would be expired by ONE DAY and that he had an appointment at the vet in less than a week, I was OKed for his appointment by two separate employees. Less than 24 hours before, they come back and tell me that they are unable to take Rowan- after two conversations about how this situation would be fine, as it was only expired for one day. They are unprofessional and I would NOT RECOMMEND even trying to book with them. They did this all through text and email and did not even care to call after changing their minds several times. So disappointing and I don't see how an establishment that runs this way could even stay in business. read more

Dropped my dog off for a bath and nail trim. I was told it was a package(bath, nails, and ear cleaning). I brought my dog home. His coat is dirty. I am annoyed. His nails are barely trimmed. His dew claws are still long. and his ears are FILTHY. 2 hours later. he is having an allergic reaction. Great overall experience for my 12 year old girl Lucy. I love that they are quick and efficient and she always comes home smelling great and is relaxed. The only reason I didn't leave a 5 star review today was when she shook her head at home something came flying out of her ears. It was the cotton balls they used to clean and dry them. Not a big deal but just an FYI to be mindful of that in the future. Would definitely be back! read more

They are highly unskilled and do not know what they are doing. My special promo. Price was $56. They charge an additional $22 if you want your dogs hair dried. Otherwise , you bring hime a wet dog from the groomer? 55 would normally be $76 .... What a rip-off to have an 8 lb dog bathed and dried!! He smells like a dog that has not been groomed. He looks WORSE than when we brought him in. His hair is frizzy and even has matted knots of hair hanging off his body. He definitely wwas NOT even brushed! His ears are dirty and nails still long. Are you kidding me. NO , I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

I thought Scenthound did a poor job, but it was even more evident a couple days later. Since my dog was washed and not adequately brushed out she was filled with new matting she didn't have before her grooming. This was a nightmare and took a tremendous amount of grooming to correct all the new matting. read more

A staff member had scheduled my second appointment less than a month after I had signed up ($55 (25+30 annual fee) to sign up) was expecting only to pay for the blow dry and got charged and extra $25 because I came in 3 days before my autopay day (the day I was originally scheduled to come in) Said the extra $25 was the charge that would be in 3 days anyways but still charged another $25 3 days later.
