There is no listing for the Pump it Up in Alexandria so beware when reserving it a party. It does not CLEARLY tell you that they don't allow external food items and they make you buy it from them. I wanted to bring some healthier items and other items for our party for the adults, but they won't let me. You are only allowed to order from THEIR food menu and it's mostly overpriced and dull selections. They don't let you do anything else. Also, they offer soda to the kids as part of the package and if you want to order anything else (water, honest juice, whatever) you have to buy it from them. What a scam. Further when I called on the phone the manager was rude and belligerent. I asked her to show me where it says that I can't bring external food--that information is only sent to you on your confirmation email. She said it's there but she doesn't know where. So much fun! We visited Pump it up for a family member's birthday party, and my children loved it. I have a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old who bounced and ran the whole time. They played in two different bounce rooms, which gave the children variety in their bouncing fun. Then it was time for pizza and cake, so we transferred to that room. The host helps to pass out pizza, drinks, cake, and ice cream to all the guests, which is helpful when you're trying to do other things. read more

My experience with this location was AWESOME! Had my sons 4th birthday party here last night and our kids had a blast! The staff was amazing and engaging. When I first came in, Coach K introduces herself, welcomed our party and told me that the front desk would help get me settled. When I had questions of when we should do certain things, she even assured me "mom, we got this for you. You go enjoy yourself!" ThT took a load off because I'm definitely used to running around at the kids parties and I don't get to enjoy it. That meant a lot! Jalen and Kendall were our party attendants - very nice young men. Introduced themselves and let me know they'd be our hosts for the evening. My son doesn't like the happy birthday attention so when Kendall called him for the front to get his birthday sticker, he was a bit of a butt...sorry, Kendall. But he handled it well. We paid the up barges for the bubbles and the balloon drop and it was well worth it; especially the balloon drop! Our kids were in heaven! Jalen suggested we do the drop as the kids were entering into the room, and I agreed. Soo much better than a countdown!!! Alicia was our food attendant and she was great too! Very sweet and attentive. She moved fast and let me know every step she was planning and asked if I was in agreement. She got us in, out, and cleaned up like a pro...ON TIME! My only...and I do mean only concern is that there were two pieces of smaller equipment that had lacerations that needed to be patched and they weren't on the main equipment. My mom pointed them out so I hope they fix them so no one trips. Al in all, this was well worth my money to be able to enjoy my kids and their friends. Cool place to hold a kids birthday party. My cousin held her twins birthday at Pump it up. We arrived on time as per Pump It Up, unfortunately pump it up with running behind schedule. We waited 30 minutes past our arrival time to enter the first jumping room. Which consist of three huge balloon bounce house, one was an obstacle course, a rock climbing wall, and a ladder/slide. The second room held a huge bounce house, another obstacle course, and a smaller bounce house. The kids were allowed about 30 minutes each room. The last room was the actually party room which had lunch room tables and two regular tables set up. Also a big balloon chair set up for the birthday child. Five Pizza pies was ordered thru pump it up but only three arrived, by the time the other two pizza's arrived most of the children had left. Pump it up provided two 2-liter sodas, serving assistance, and clean up. The young lady assigned to my little cousin party was very nice and helpful. read more

Great place for a party for kiddos. They have two rooms with gigantic inflatables. The staff takes care of set up and clean up, no hassles at all. We have been here 5 separate times and it has always been a great time. They have added a small toddler play area and new inflatables! You must wear socks to use the inflatables. The facility wasn't my issue. My issue is the boring, lackadaisical, unprofessional staff. For $500+ they didn't even smile! It's just OK. As soon as you walk in you can smell some type of odor. The carpet is filthy!!! You would think if people are required to have their shoes off it would be a lot cleaner. The carpet hasn't been vacuumed in MONTHS! There was no staff around except for the person wayyyyy up front when you pay. I do like the fact that they have stuff going on each day of the week. Had my child's birthday party there a couple weeks ago. Was disappointing. In the first room the big slide is yellow but has blue stain marks going down the middle from jeans showing how old and dirty their moon bounces are. In the second room 3 out of the 4 bouncy houses deflating and one actually deflated all the way while my family members were on there. Lastly I purchased a beautiful cake from a bakery near me, picked it up everything was fine when I entered the third and final room of pump it up the bow from my cake had clearly fallen off and they tried to reattach it. I asked to speak with the manager some lady with blonde hair was very unapologetic and didn't even a discount at the least I had to ask for one and she only gave $15 off the party. I was going to have my son's party here and was skeptical because they only get 35 minutes I'm each arena, there is 2 arenas. So I opted to take him to an open jump session where they can jump for 1 hr. then they served pizza. I actually liked it and my kids had a blast... If they have an unlimited time to jump this place would be great. read more

I came here for my little cousins birthday celebration. They were at least 15-20 minute late for the scheduled party. They rotate people from room to room to try to accommodate the other parties taking place. The messed up the food order which left my family having to wait for the replacement food to come an additional 30 minutes later. I had my 3 year olds Birthday party here and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Probably the worst birthday experience I have ever had at a place. The staff for one is all very young children which is fine, but there wasn't one visible adult in sight. It says there should be a party attendant in the rooms at all times on the sign and they were never there, they only showed us to move from one room to the next like an assembly line. The staff was dry, unenthusiastic, unorganized which made the experience awkward. I also didn't appreciate her bringing my bill out in the middle of the party. They staff was the most relax, dry, unenthusiastic staff and I felt like I wasted my money. I could've taken my child to Dave and Busters and will make sure to let everyone I know to never go to this particular Pump It Up if any. They had to go back multiple times to get my items they were supposed to be holding for us from other rooms, and seemingly lost other parties items that they were looking for in our party room! To top it all off the "goodie bags" are just cups with a couple wrist bands in it. Don't waste your time or money, the experience was horrible. Although my son has fun, he has said on numerous occasions that he never wants to have a party there. It's too chaotic and the music is BLASTING, and not always age appropriate. We have had to leave the room with the inflatables to sit and wait in the party room because the music was too loud for him. While in the party room, the staff was in and out getting things ready, and dropping F bombs while in the presence of a 4-year-old. Not appropriate! Besides one little plastic slide, there really wasn't much to do for our daughter, who is a toddler. On a side note, he has gone on a weekday before and things seem to be better. read more

My granddaughter wanted to have her 5th birthday party there so I made it happen. We invited her class which is 15 kids but only two showed up. I was still charged the full price, I don't think that is right because they are quick to charge and extra fee if you are even one person over the limit. My kids loves this place. Always call and make sure there's no birthday party reserved that day as you may have to leave early or cannot get in when they do. Nothing like letting your kids run wild and free in this place. Love how it's in a room where there are doors to keep them in that area. Monday nights are usually dead. Oh yeah... their website states that they close at 6pm (I even called to confirm) but really... they close at 5:30pm. They were kicking us at out at that time. read more

My son had a great time but I wouldn't reserve a party here a complete waste of money because they don't give you a lot of time unless your willing to dish out a tone of money. One of my favorite men turned 5 recently and we celebrated his big day at Pump it Up. My friend sent the invite to me via email and my immediate reaction was like "WTF is Pump it Up? Can't we just go to Chucky Cheese...they have beer!" She tried to explain it to me but, it sounded like we were all going to squeeze into 1 big inflatable bouncer thing....Didnt sound like much fun! On the day of the party, I picked up my little sister and drove to Pump it Up. The place is tucked into an office park that makes it easy for anyone to miss it. We enter Pump It Up..signed a waiver :-/ and entered the 1st Party Room. Whoa....whoa...my heart skips a beat and I swoon....inside there is about 3 inflatable jumpy things and my friends (adult friends) are bouncing around and laughing! The 4 year old (tucked way down inside of me) kicks off my expensive boots and dive into the fun! We played in the first room for about 30 min and one of the employees blows a whistle to gather at the door...again, the 4 year old inside of me quickly joined the single line that leads us into the next room. The 2nd Party Room was even bigger with even more inflatables....THEN they turn the lights out and our glow stick necklaces work their magic! YAYYYY! We raced up the inflatables to come sliding and bouncing down...we race through inflatable obstacle courses...we bounce and push the kids and eachother. We had a blast...before you know it, we were ushered in the Party Room where we dined on some pretty yummy cheese pizza and soda. Pump it Up is a pretty smart party idea. I discovered Pump It Up during some Googling for ideas for my sons 3rd birthday part. I Went there on a Sunday for the Little Jumpers Open play so that my son could play while I checked it out before shelling out the money to reserve a party. We were blown away! It is a bit hard to find as it's tucked away behind some trees in a plaza, but inside it is fantastic. Clean, bright, cheery and fun. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, and they even played with my son on the inflatables most of the time we were there. Open play is fantastic, the Little Jumpers is designed for kids ages 2-6 which is nice since older kids tend to be inconsiderate of little jumpers. It wasn't crowded at all and for $8 for 2 hours of play it's a steal. They even have multi-day passes which bring the cost down even more and don't have to be used on consecutive days. This is definitely going to be a weekly activity for us, my son was thrilled and I got a helluva workout in chasing and bouncing around with him. I did end up booking a party which I am very excited about. The prices are decent and they have different packages that come with different things and plenty of add-ons like Glow-in-the-dark or themes. Adults 17 and older are always free. I'll update my review once we have the party in a few weeks, but I have really high hopes. read more

I booked a party for my son and a week later they had a groupon that was half the price and included more kids. When I called to talk to the manager she told me the $100 deposit was not refundable and she was not even willing to try to work anything out even though we were willing to spend more at the location. She just stated that the deposit was non refundable and we could not put the money towards anything else. Be careful when you book your party because you will not be able to get your deposit back. I will not ever be returning here again because why would I give my money to a business who does not care about satisfying their customers! The website is atrocious at communicating when their open jump days and times are. As a public vendor you would expect them to be a little better at this. Their site looks like they hired the terminated crew from 1990's AOL. I brought my daughter and her friend their for some fun and found out they had closed the entire place for private parties that day. Needless to say the kids were disappointed. I did a check of the site beforehand and it wasn't very clear this was the case. Apparently their business strategy is to get folks there, disappoint them, and then they'll come back! Good business model folks, well done. I don't recommend anybody bring their children to this place unless invited for a private party, because on a weekend day, that's the only way you're getting to have any fun there. read more

Came here fir my daughters bday party, it was ok. Pizza was standard chuckie cheese style. Two obstacles were half deflated making it not functional for the kids to play on but it kept them entertained and I didn't have to clean up, cook or entertain. I booked a pump it up party. I wanted to order pizza for adults aside from just the children's cheese pizzas. I went into the Pump it up Waldorf location and specifically asked them which pizzas I could order as part of my party. They handed me a brochure from their local vendor. Turns out when you order, they don't honor the prices in the brochure they hand out. It's $14.99 a pizza plus $2 a topping no matter what. A supreme pizza listed for $17 is now $29, etc. The manager Jennifer wouldn't honor the brochure prices even though her staff handed me the information. I would be wary of this location; they are not up front about hidden costs. read more

Amazing! We did my daughter's 4th birthday party here. It was so much for for the kids AND the adults!!! The party was completely private, so while we were jumping it was just the people in our party there! The staff was super friendly too! We had 2 helpers with us throughout the party to make sure everything went smoothly. After the jumping was over they led us to the party room which was already set up with her cake and gifts around the throne! I cut the cake but the helpers had plates ready and passed out the cake for us! I would highly recommenced this place for a birthday party! It exceeded all of my expectations! This place is AWESOME! I had a bd party for my daughter here in June. It was by far the best place. When we got there (30 mins before the party) they made sure all was set up and if we had any questions. Once everyone got there (25 kids, 15-20 adults) everyone watched a short video on the rules and we were off to the first room. It was a huge room with huge courses to use. The best part the adults can play too! The whole time there were at least 2 workers with us to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. After about 30mins we moved onto the second room which had even more courses and things to play on. After another 30mins we moved into the party room and they set up everything! We didn't have to life a finger they made sure all the kids had pizza and juice and the adults as well. When it was time for the cake they made sure all kids and adults got a piece. The only issue was the young guy cutting the cake was cutting way to big of pieces so there wasn't enough for everyone, so I took over and cut them again and it was no big deal. After the party was done they cleaned everything up and collected all the presents my daughter had gotten and took them to my car and loaded my car up. I tried to help but they insisted on doing it. I made sure to ask if they could take a tip the girl said yes and they had to split it with 4 ways with her coworkers. So I made sure to tip them good for the great time. I would tell anyone to go here for a birthday party. The one thing I loved the most is that it's private, you don't have to share the room with other people or the public.
