The UniverSoul Circus has multicultural acts that provide entertainment to people of all ages. The circus is interactive with the audience and plays music that caters to the audience. The children's dance contest was fun. And the couples' game was hilarious! It's fun time kids of all ages.

What a great show in a nice location. Performers from around the world performing high wire acrobatics, dancing, comedy, and much more. Fun for all.worth the visit. Please support all Circuses to keep them alive for future generations.

I always loved this circus. We haven't been in years. I used to go back when my son was younger and it was located in the Capital plaza shopping center. It's new location brings in good revenue. It has a huge parking lot. The Iines moved pretty quickly for the food purchases. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of the fried chicken but they did have my funnel cake. So I wasn't totally disappointed. The shows were amazing! My favorite was the Caribbean dancing and all. We had a good time and definitely plan on returning next year. Just arrive early because you wouldn't want to miss any of the entertainment. I highly recommend for the kids and the adults.

I loved every minute of UniverSoul. There is nothing like it. Their performers has mastery over death defying acts. As an audience member, I got to bounce a ball, cheer for a dancer, and participate in the thrill. The fun was nonstop. The A/C in the tent was comfortable. The producers thought of everything. I want to see it again.

This is... the 2nd circus event I've been to in my adult years! It's my niece's birthday month, and we decided this would be an event that she would absolutely love, based on her enjoyment of animals and gymnastics. National Harbor has plenty of parking overall, with many varying prices. The closest easy parking is a garage that'll cost you anywhere from $5-$24, depending on how much time you're in there. It was very easy to walk over to the circus tent, and showing our tickets for entry was a breeze. Now, I am going to try and give a spoiler-free review here. I came not knowing what to expect from this show, but a few things stood out. I appreciated how there was a act for a variety of cultures and how each one was quite different (and I may have been biased towards a certain one that was beyond hyped LOL). In between the acts, the ringleader also had a fun time engaging the crowd for all sorts of funky things, and one of the biggest takeaways for me was the music. It was a turnup that I wasn't expecting, and they had something for everyone honestly. Admittedly, the animals present felt slightly out of place and I don't think they were necessary... also the crack of the whip scared me LOL. But the show had my jaw drop enough and I really enjoyed myself. Apparently I'm late to the party, but if anyone has never been to Universoul, I highly recommend. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

We had so much fun under the big top..... The show was a lot different this year....I know it was largely due to COVID but the show was much better before. I wish it was the show we have come to love, it just wasn't! Not a ton of WOWs and not a ton of exotic animals. I also wish the trainer didn't use whips. I am not sure what happens behind the scenes but in the show - its overwhelming to have those out. Did we press on - yes!!!!! did we have an amazing time - always!!!! Will we support???? Absolutely!!! Come back stronger and better next year!!!! We had "box seats". I definitely expected more for the price. They were basically floor seats closer to the stage. Note to self: regular shmegular seats are fine. No box under the big top!!!!

Such a wonderful event! I've heard of universoul circus since I was a kid, but never had the chance to go until now. This definitely plays into the effects of the "big top", especially when you're walking in. Per usual, concessions, souvenirs, and toys are sold (a little on the pricey side). Thankfully, there's air conditioning on the inside (I actually had the goosebumps Lol). Some acts directly on the floor were hard to see but it was a good view overall (we were the first row in the red seats). The ringmasters were great at interacting and keeping the crowd alive. The acts were great as well; loved all the culture involved. No elephants, but there were camels, zebras, horses, and dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed myself & had plenty of laughs throughout the night!

I absolutely love the UniverSoul Circus and now that my granddaughter is old enough to enjoy it, the show has become more fantastic. From the ushers to the lights and the music to entertainment, it's all worth that ridiculous Ticketmaster fee. My baby even got to ride a camel during intermission...the highlight of her day! There's nothing like representation of minorities throughout the show. It's so important for our youth.

Outstanding show! This was my first time attending the universoul circus and it was absolutely incredible. The entire production was highly entertaining. Loved the diversity of the performers! Be sure to arrive early and bring $10 cash for the camel rides before the show.

UniverSoul Circus was super entertaining. Nothing but a five, enjoyed by the whole family!

    Outside

Went with the family on a humid weekday. No lines and tent was cool. Performances were amazing. No animals. Dancing clowns were entertaining. The only downfall was the sound system . It wasn't quite clear and music wasn't loud and profound. Parking available at the tent for 20.00 or in the parking garage.

Anyway, what I love about this wheel is that dogs are allowed! I try to include my dog in as many social outings that he can go on to ensure he has experiences too. When the weather gets colder, it's much harder to find activities he can partake in so I was excited to learn that I didn't have to leave him at home when spending time with my nieces. The four of us purchased tickets at the venue and then headed to the queue. If you have small kids (or a small dog), there is a stroller parking area that you can place your stroller while you ride. It's not secure though so be sure to keep any valuables on your person. The line was short and we ended up with a swing all to ourselves. They are pretty roomy; the previous group had about 7 average sized to bigger sized adults and most of them could fit in one carriage (though not with much room to spare). In the summer this may be okay; the swings are temperature controlled. With the cold weather, I found the temperature to be a bit too warm. Particularly if you dress in many layers as I do, being bundled up in a swing with hot air blowing on you is pretty miserable. To ensure you get your money's worth, the ride is about 5-8 mins I think. You go around at a languid pace about 4x and the last 5th time is the longest as it stops to allow patrons to exit the swing. My dog did pretty well for his first time. He was a little nervous, but with soothing pets and holding him, he calmed down. Perhaps next time I'll bring some treats. He did have a bit of a spell toward the end when he had a birds eye view of people walking. Speaking of, the views from the wheel are quite nice. You can see the National Monument and others from up there. All in all, this is a nice outing! There are a ton of restaurants to eat afterward and around the holidays, they have a market. The latter had nothing of particular interest but it was nice to get out and walk around. While the outdoor space is super dog friendly, the restaurants did not appear to be so. The outdoor patios lacked any heating lamps, and therefore aren't suitable during cold weather. I also couldn't tell if dogs were allowed there. Perhaps your best bet is to have a couple of people and send one in to a fast food spot to bring food to sit near the courtyard (?) where films are shown.

Glad I can finally say I've taken a ride on The Capital Wheel.

Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)

You will also find a nice full basketball court at the park and a nice paved trail passes through it. It is a really nice trail and very peaceful. The highlight of the park though, is its playground. The playground has a rubber mud free floor, which is in great shape. There are benches around the playground's perimeter where parents can sit and watch their little ones. The playground's equipment includes a small jungle gym with slides, a large net climbing structure with a slide. There is also a bank of swings with a toddler swing, An ADA compliant swing, and some traditional swings. This is a very nice park. Parking around National Harbor is plentiful, though expect a bit of a hike through the hotel to reach the back corner where the Christmas Village and exhibit entrance are located. You can pay for parking at a small booth near the entrance, which keeps things straightforward. Before entering the exhibit itself, you pass through the Village area, which includes an ice slide attraction, Santa's workshop, and a retail shop. Entry requires a ticket--about $50 per person--so it's not cheap. Once inside, you follow a serpentine path with areas where you can touch real snow, plus a small display explaining how the exhibit was constructed. You're issued a blue overcoat before entering the main exhibit. Take it. Even with the coat, it's cold. Inside, it's about 7 degrees, and the rules are clear: do not touch the ice sculptures. This year's theme is The Polar Express, and the exhibit follows the story through several themed rooms that showcase the craftsmanship of the ice artisans. The detail is striking, and there are ice slides if you're brave enough. It's beautiful, very cold, and memorable--but your time inside is limited due to the cold temperature. When finished, you return the coat and exit back into the Village. Overall: very cool (pun intended), impressive, and worth seeing at least once. We also caught the Cirque: Spirit of Christmas show in the stunning atrium, and it was an absolute highlight of our visit! The production follows a sweet girl-dreaming theme with magical spirits guiding the story--perfect holiday vibes. The performers were phenomenal: from the ladder walker and high-wire artist to the incredible juggler (she stole the show for me--her skills and energy were out of this world!). Everything was packed into a surprisingly tight stage area, which made the precision and high-flying stunts even more impressive. It wasn't very crowded when we went, the show runs about 30-35 minutes (just right), and it felt well worth the ticket price. If you're at the Gaylord for ICE! or the holiday festivities, don't miss this--it's a dazzling, feel-good addition that left us smiling. Highly recommend!

First of all, you get timed tickets for entry, but that doesn't matter honestly, because you're probably going to wait an hour until you finally get into the ICE exhibit. You wait in the Gaylord hallway and then in the Christmas village where they finally scan your tickets, wait in the Gaylord hallway again, back into the village to get these parkas, before you finally go outside to go into the exhibit, which is so small and probably took around 10-15 minutes to go through. I spent more time in this line than the exhibit... The ice sculptures are cute and it's crazy to think someone made these, but it's not worth the money and time to wait in such a line for this! Not to mention some people don't have manners at times so it can get chaotic with taking photos and kids running around. Ice slide is not worth it. This place is not lying about being 9 degrees Fahrenheit so be prepared to be cold. Overpriced "merch" at the end of the exhibit with meh branding and overpriced ornaments and toys you can probably find somewhere else for cheaper.
