Bowling
Latoya E.

This place never has any open lanes!! I mean never! I live across the street and have tried on several occasions to patronize this bowling alley! I don't understand why most days are catered to leagues. We should be able to bowl on any given day at our local bowling alley. Glad I'm able to use to bowling alley on the base, although it's less convenient. On the occasions we have been able to use this bowling alley, the food is ok. The service is usually friendly and they also have a bar!!! Compared to on base bowling this location is a bit over priced. The shoes and the games. The balls get stuck from time to time but the staff is usually on it.

That's 30$ overcharge

Half the lanes are open but you'll have to wait up to an hour before you can actually bowl for whatever reason.

Came up in this joint, it was quiet. Brought the noise thanks to the staff members of the alley. They made it fun to bowl.

They were very patient and helpful. While we waited for the party room we had some unexpected additions to our group they easily added them to our group and assured me all kids would receive the items the other party goers received. Once it was time to go to our party room we were greeted by our party rep. She was awesome! I'm sad I do not remember her name but I will leave her description because she was absolutely amazing! (African American young lady with locs) Boy was this a great experience, especially as a parent who hates kid party places lol!! Great service and a great time!! Thank you to everyone that had a hand in helping my family and friends celebrate my son's 8thbirthday!! Marked down one star because it was almost unbearably hot the entire time we were there. I don't know how the kids were able to run around and play in that type of uncomfortable heat.

My Grandson Armani is 4! So to Chuck E. Cheese we go…read more I spent a lot of time at Chuck E. Cheese when my kids were little. They loved it and their Friends loved it. It was close to our house so we went often because it was a fun place for them to go. it was ALWAYS packed. My Children are now 25 and 27. I remember as soon as you use to walk in, there was a huge ball pit with connecting tubes and tunnels that kids would climb up up to so they could clim through thr tubes. My Daughter would climb up to the top, get scared and I would send my Son to help her down. Shoes were everywhere because you could not wear your shoes in the ball pit. The sound level was loud but the kids had a good time in a safe place so we dealt with it. Listen. Chuck E. Cheese is different now. First thing I noticed now is there is no large ball pit with the tubes! It took up a lot of space and now it just looks "empty" to me. However, thinking back from a post Covid standpoint, the ball pit was not the most sanitary place as there was no way they could have clean all the balls that were in the pit. I am pretty sure that Covid gave them a new perspective on this. I also noticed there were no long tickets spitting out of the machine when the kids won the games. My kids would get so excited to collect all the tickets so they could turn them if for prizes. Everything is now modern so you swipe a card and it keeps your tickets total so you can cash out and pick your gifts. Again, this is better for the environment as we wasted a lot of paper with the tickets. There are a lot more games for the kids to play but somehow it seemed less packed and quieter then I remember. Chuck E. has changed too. He used to be this huge, imposing figure. He had an escort moving about with him because the kids would mob him. My kids were even scared of him for a time. They would cry and run away when they saw him. Chucky must be on Keto now. He is smaller and slimmer. He came out without an escort and walked around the venue without an escort. The Kids were glad to see him just the same. We ordered pizza and drinks for my Grandson. The pizza is not gourmet but it is as good as I remembered. It was fun for my Grandson and the kids at the restaurant because that is the only Chuck E. Cheese they know. But my Grown Children who were there with my Grandson and use to go to Chuck E. Cheese faithfully in thr past said it definitely is not the same Chuck E. Cheese that they were use to. Sometimes change is just different. My Grandson was happy and that is all that matters.

We came on a weekday to celebrate a party and it was fun not only for kids but the adults as well…read more The X large pizza is overly expensive and they cut it into small pieces to make you feel like it is more. The pizza is good and I can complain about the consistent quality but the price point truly doesn't match what you get. The games are fun and everything looked pretty clean no weird smells. I stopped by Friendly Tavern for a quick drink on a Saturday evening…read more It is a small, dimly lit dive bar that seems to be frequented by locals. There is a long bar-top which sits 8-10 folk then a small amount of 4-tops scattered throughout the space. They offer darts, pool, and giant jenga playing area which is a positive. Our bartender was kind, she very pleasantly greeted us and gathered our orders. She chatted with other patrons throughout the evening; you can tell this is a local spot. The drinks left alot to be desired. While they were only $5, our rail drinks (whiskey and tequila) were very weak and didn't taste great. We decided to just have one round then head to a nearby spot. Overall the bar seemed pretty dated and had a faint unpleasant odor. I appreciate a nice dive bar, but a few minor renovations or upgrades may help to freshen things up a bit.

The first thing that hit me when I walked in was a musty smell... Whew! Not sure whether it was a person or just the age of the building, but it wasn't great. They have a pool table, darts, and a Jenga set in the back in what is otherwise a rather tight space. The drinks we got weren't the greatest, though only $5 so no complaints about the price. Compared to other spots I tried in the area, this wouldn't be my first recommendation though.
