Want some an old school, low key fun? Try this sleeper duckpin bowling spot. Good for a date with your family (or whatever). The staff is super nice. And they serve food!

Don't be scared of the sketchy looking outside of the building. Once inside this bowling alley takes you back in time. Don't look for a digital score board. Scores are taken by hand but since I can barely add 7+8 without using my calculator we didn't take score. Next time we will keep score so the kids can actually see what they did. I just sat and watched. Would go again using the free passes.

Suitland Bowl is A-OK with me ! I came here this past weekend when my niece and nephews wanted to get out for a while so I did some research around to find some open lanes . I called a few places who had tournaments going on and finally reached out to Suitland Bowl who had open lanes and great pricing. This place is tucked away so if using GPS just know you have enter on the side of the building . We arrived around 2pm and the place was almost empty besides a few fellow guest . Upon entering I was skeptical in my mind about the décor but once I reached the counter I and heard the owners assisting other customers I felt more at ease. The owners greeted us very warmly and explained everything we need to know . I was informed of the price which was 7.00 pp (including shoes) and that price was good for 1 hour . They asked if we had been there before and informed us that they would allow us extra time since it was our first time in order to get into the swing of things. The kids were given a lane number and shoes , and in addition the owners even came over and went over the rules, best techniques to bowl , how to keep score, and that the snack bar is open if we needed anything. I ordered a large pizza and drinks which was about 22 bucks. The reason I took a star is the pizza seemed to take a great amount of time to get done and I was on time restraint . All in All They had a great time! Keep in my mind this duck bowling so its perfect for younger kids to feel comfortable . I was also given a flyer to sign them up for free bowling so I will be sure to take advantage of that ( not often places are honestly giving out free anything ). I did notice a little while before we left more guest started to come and they turned on the music which helped to keep a good pace. We will be back due to the convenience of location and great service . The place is vintage style but I do recommend coming here just to get out for a while on any day of the week . You can tell the owners really want to make a great impression.

    Yummy cheese pizza.

We had a fantastic time at Suitland Bowl today. The bowling was fun, the staff and patrons were friendly, the food was great, and the prices were right.

Classic bowling alley vibes. Staff is helpful in getting you set up then you are left to your own devices to play.

I can see how it can get expensive real quick. $5 for a soda and food was also pricey. We had a few apps but a lot was sold out. An hour was plenty of time. It was about $40 but then they tac on a charge for "lifetime membership" which isn't optional. So tac on another 12 dollars to the bill right there. Service was decent and everyone was friendly. Would return with a group. Would be a fun night and lots of options for different games at all levels of play. Restrooms and lobby were very clean and nice.

Lots of really great updates at Top Golf. I love that they have a no fee reservation process now…read more It helps allow you to plan ahead and have a great weekend night out without waiting forever. Just make sure you are on time because they start your play time at the time your reserve which is fair. Also make sure you are sure about the playing time you select because you may not be able to extend the time. We were sad to see that the regular flat breads are off the menu. The pizza is fine, but we didn't like it as much. We also will miss the quesadilla. I tried the shrimp tacos. They were so delicious. They had a ton of shrimp in them and were very tasty. I'm not sure if they are a new menu item or not but I really enjoyed them. We had a great time because of Spence, Timothy, and Warren. Spence is the very first Top Golf employee to ask if we needed a handicap acceibile playing mat which was so nice to offer. Timothy was on top of things. He made sure we got everything we needed and took great care of us. Warren checked in on us and made sure we were having a great time.

It's a bowling alley on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, so first of all, don't come with expectations…read morethat it is going to be like one of those crazy disco bowling alleys. This place is simple and straightforward, as bowling alleys ought to be! (Seriously the neon strobe lights at mid-day that some bowling alleys use is just sensory overload, and if you're coming with kids, you know it's best to keep it simple!) There's thirty lanes of bowling fun, plenty of balls in stock, a friendly staff, and clean shoes. I'd say that hits the mark. 4 stars because it's everything you need at a great price. It's $2 to bowl a game/person, and $2.75 to rent shoes. Dare you to find a better deal in the DC area. The food isn't spectacular but again you shouldn't be expecting anything Tom Sietsema would write home about. We've gotten snacks here before and really I'd only recommend 1) beer and 2) sweet potato fries. There are leagues that bowl here so make sure you call in advance to make sure there are open lanes!

I knew this bowling alley was going to be boring, just based off the location. First, let me say…read moreI like to party...good music...networking...etc. So this place did none of that for me at ALL. It was supposed to be Cosmic bowling. They played all genres of music, but back to back. No mixing it up...just all rock n roll together, all rap together, all country together...you can see where this is going I'm quite sure. Also the music was loud...I mean extremely loud, where I almost had to use sign-language to speak to the person right next to me. Next on to the food. I have never been to a bowling alley...where the menu had no prices. I mean like WTH...so we ordered a half a pound of wings....when I picked up the order there were 6 wingetts in the basket. Just 6 little lonely wings. Now the pizza.. So since we were still hungry after our tick tack sized wings...we decided on the Hawaiian pizza. I knew something was wrong when the pizza was done in 3 minutes. The flavor was ok, but there was no pizza dough...it had to be crepe mix...it didnt look like pizza..you literally had to roll it up like a spring roll to eat it. I will never order that again...and I know this because I'm not going back. My suggestions: A menu with prices and better decriptions of the food...for example...Six buffalo wings instead of 1/2 pound (I know darn well they did not have a scale). That way customers are not upset when their food expectations are not met. Better music, not just a basic playlist. Tone down the volume a bit. Now if you plan on bringing you children, parents, etc this place is nice for that. Just bring your own food.
