‍ Father's Day at Topgolf is officially a tradition in our family, and this year's visit to Topgolf National Harbor was just as fun as the years before! I visited with my dad and brother to celebrate Father's Day, and we had a great time eating, drinking, and competing for bragging rights. For drinks, we ordered a Blue Moon, the Topgolf Tea, and the Breakaway Breeze (their World Cup special). All were solid choices for a summer afternoon. For food, we shared buffalo wings, a house salad, chicken nachos, chicken fingers, and fries. Everything was delicious, but I have to give a special shoutout to the nachos. They must have updated the recipe because gone are the days of receiving a plate with a handful of oversized chips. This version felt like actual nachos with plenty of toppings and was easily my favorite item of the meal. The service was good as well. Our server was a bit older and moved a little slower when entering orders into the handheld device, but he was friendly, attentive, and got every order right. At the end of the day, that's what matters. Now for the only downside: the pricing. Topgolf has never been cheap, and this visit felt especially expensive. We booked ahead and had to put down a deposit that went toward a total cost of about $150. I'm guessing there was a little Father's Day markup involved. That said, my dad loves Topgolf, so we'll probably keep coming back every year. The experience is always fun, and this time we even scored a bay on the main level right in the center, which made the day feel even more special. If you're looking for a fun group activity with good food, drinks, and a little friendly competition, Topgolf National Harbor still delivers. read more

We recently hosted a corporate event at Topgolf National Harbor and were very disappointed with the experience. The biggest issue wasn't that our request to extend our bay was denied--it was how the situation was handled. A staff member repeatedly raised his voice to me when I asked for assistance, which was both unprofessional and inappropriate, especially during a corporate event. We were told that our bay could not be extended because a 10:00 PM reservation was scheduled. However, we remained on-site until after 10:15 PM and observed that the bay remained empty. We also have video showing multiple available bays after our reservation ended, which made the explanation difficult to understand. What was most disappointing was the response from management. Rather than addressing the concerns or attempting to resolve the situation, our feedback was dismissed. We've hosted Topgolf events in other cities and have generally had positive experiences, which makes this location stand out for the wrong reasons. Mistakes happen, but professionalism, honesty, and customer service should not be optional. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would hesitate to host another event at the National Harbor location. read more

Had a great morning here. A first for the husband and I. Prices weren't bad and easy to figure out on our own. I can see how it can get expensive real quick. $5 for a soda and food was also pricey. We had a few apps but a lot was sold out. An hour was plenty of time. It was about $40 but then they tac on a charge for "lifetime membership" which isn't optional. So tac on another 12 dollars to the bill right there. Service was decent and everyone was friendly. Would return with a group. We had an awesome time. Dated facilities compared to Baltimore, but a much better time. Walking up to the front entrance, a lot of blunts and trash. That could be better but the parking was ample and accessible. We got in and ended up with another end bay. We asked for something in the middle and the front desk employee was super helpful. Our waitress was attentive and we got everything we ordered quickly. Our screen was damaged so we were unable to see as we played. Prices for food/drinks are always high but ‍. We stayed an extra hour since our bay wasn't reserved. We will definitely be back. Hopefully they will do updates to the screens and maybe rethink the crazy food/drinks prices. Lots of really great updates at Top Golf. I love that they have a no fee reservation process now. It helps allow you to plan ahead and have a great weekend night out without waiting forever. Just make sure you are on time because they start your play time at the time your reserve which is fair. Also make sure you are sure about the playing time you select because you may not be able to extend the time. We were sad to see that the regular flat breads are off the menu. The pizza is fine, but we didn't like it as much. We also will miss the quesadilla. I tried the shrimp tacos. They were so delicious. They had a ton of shrimp in them and were very tasty. I'm not sure if they are a new menu item or not but I really enjoyed them. We had a great time because of Spence, Timothy, and Warren. Spence is the very first Top Golf employee to ask if we needed a handicap acceibile playing mat which was so nice to offer. Timothy was on top of things. The bottom line: fun family time, super friendly service, and food. Top golf is simply a fun outing and I really like the updates since I'd visited probably more than a decade ago. There are heated bench seats, free clubs for everyone (including kids), and a relaxing energized fun atmosphere. Food is...ok, but came out quickly. Treated my family for a Top Golf outing for Father's Day after exploring National Harbor. We love interactive activities especially after brunch and walking around the outlets. I made reservations online which works out perfectly. We always have a good time when we are here. The chicken nachos is my fav and so good. Writing this review solely for Mani/ Monni my server! I had never been to top golf before and I quickly learned that mini golf is way more my speed but any question I had Monni answered, from menu specifics to golf tips to menu recommendations she was there! Our party ended up getting drinks and the donut holes, and while I typically do not enjoy labor with my meals this particular instance was more about control, the donut holes were expertly fried and the injectable flavor syringes were ( pictured here raspberry jelly and bavarian creme) a fun twist on a classic! the experience is a 2hr minimum so if you're not crazy for golf maybe try to go when someone else has already paid or is picking up the tab, because for me having to bend down every time to obtain/ retrieve and load your golf balls is not great for those with back issues, but definitely a great group activity or even for a date night, the environment was nice not too loud. Bathrooms were clean and drinks were regularly priced think about $15 for a glass of wine! This was my first time going here. I had so much fun with my family. Our hostess Adriana was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us multiple times to make sure we were okay. She explained how to use the monitor and how to play. The food was so delicious. We ordered two platters. I wish we were able to order the chicken sliders separately from the platter. My experience was okay. I thought that the bays were close together compared to other locations. It was hot the day I went, so a shared fan was kind of annoying. Initially I ordered the chicken tenders and fries which came out burnt. I complained and got a burger instead which was okay. The server was friendly, and the location was easy to find. A few weeks ago I joined my husband and in-laws for an afternoon of sunshine, fun, and golf. This was my first time playing golf (outside of miniature golf) and at this establishment, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Each bay is complete with assorted sets of golf clubs, score card screen, and ample seating. I lost the first game, which wasn't a surprise to anyone especially me. (lol) I didn't order/taste any food, but I enjoyed my STRAWBERRY MARGARITA and my husband liked his OLD FASHIONED. Top golf is a family favorite activity. I love how people like myself can enjoy a driving range without the pressure of actually doing good. The environment is always fun and lively. I would have given full stars if it weren't for a couple factors: Food takes FOREVER to come out and more than once, the order has been wrong. The bay hosts are overwhelmed and do not check on the table often. It takes a very long time to get simple items. For instance, they forgot to give us salad dressing and when asked, they didn't bring it out until our time was just about over and all the other food was gone. We put in our food order immediately after sitting down, so it was over an hour later when the dressing arrived. Needless to say, the salad was left uneaten. A fabulous outing hangout place for friends! Apparently you can check in online, and will let you know via cellphone which bay you're assigned to. Alternatively a check in desk is also at the front. This place has two levels. The iPad at your bay is really straight forward and plenty of games to choose from including real-life courses. Service has always been attentive and excellent here. Food is nothing special, as very expected. Tried the lemon pepper boneless wings, heavy on the lemon and breading, good crunch. Went to Top Golf on a Sunday afternoon. It was quite busy so had to park in the overflow parking lot across the street, but it's still convenient and nice that there's an actual lot. Waited about 20 minutes for a bay to open up upstairs (apparently that's a better location than downstairs). It's pretty easy to play: you choose your club, grab the ball and swing. There are tv monitors to show you what you hit, how you did and to keep score. Not sure why but there were lots of gnats out that afternoon, which was a bit of a nuisance. I've been to this top golf many a time - for both small group gatherings and large group parties. Have had a blast each time with very minimal hiccups. What's great about top golf is that it makes golf accessible for all ages, abilities, and levels of interest in the sport. I like the variety of games that they have to offer - as long as you can make contact with the ball and get 20-30 yards of distance, you're able to play in some of the games. They very conveniently provide a standard set of clubs to use - but I prefer to bring my own and get extra practice strokes in. In my opinion, a group of 4-6 for a two hour reservation is perfect. You get the right number of swings and opportunities to play games and can maximize value on some of the larger shareable appetizers and drink pitchers/towers. Across larger groups (who are splitting costs), you also get more bang for your buck on bay rentals. Unsurprisingly, evenings and weekends are the busiest times at Top Golf. If you're looking to play on a Saturday or Sunday, I'd recommend making a reservation. The wait, even for smaller groups of players, can be pretty lengthy - up to 1-2 hours. The quality of food and drink is solid - honestly, better than I would expect. I really enjoy the wings and flatbreads. Beware of the sliders, I found them to be quite dry. A fun spot to visit a couple of times per year! read more

We stayed at a hotel right across the street and it was convenient that there was a Topgolf right across the street. On Sundays there was a 50% off deal and it was only $30 per bay an hour. We ordered a bunch of finger foods for dinner with some drinks. The hummus surprisingly was the hit of the night. The service was alright. The server never came by to check in to see how we're doing and we didn't get to order more things we would've liked to. The place also felt a little dirty. My first Topgolf experience, I can say I have officially done it. Would I make it a regular thing?... no lol. For starters, my friend and I thought of the idea to come to Topgolf the night of a boxing match, thinking Topgolf - a sports place, would have it playing. Just know, all of those TVs on the side of your isolated slot, is dedicated to promotions and Topgolf game-displays. So if you're thinking how we were and this could double as game-day idea, the idea is dead. So anyway, we reserved our section online, about 2 hours prior to arriving - not knowing if it would be busy for a Saturday night. When we did arrive, we parked across the street, still marked parking for the arena which was nice. About a 2-minute walk, if that. Walked inside and greeted the first employee we saw, who checked our party of 2 in and tell us where to go. We got our section number, walked over and.... honestly, that was it. If you want to ask of tips and tricks, how to play, where you find this and that, you seem to be on your own. Our server Destiny was okay, she didn't explain much to us - not sure if she was meant to. Additionally, the menus were stationary at the section and honestly, they were disgusting. They were overdue for a wipe-down at a minimum. But regardless, Destiny brought us over what we asked for, asked us if we needed anything, kept it basic as far as service goes. A manager who introduced himself to our table as OG Arthur, honestly gave us more personality than our server. I've seen reviews mentioning how slow food and drinks are, but I'd say only food was slow. My best friend & I probably played 2 games in the time of us getting our food, but those drinks came quick. In summary, if you're looking for a fun something to try, feel free to visit Topgolf. A little pricey for the activity in my opinion including 2-3 people (about $45 for the spot in total, up to 6 people after 10:30p), but it's something worth trying. read more

Alcohol prices ARE NOT ON THE MENU! So a beer is "whatever it costs!" Service is poor, depending on who you get at any given time. We visited Top Golf over the weekend with the family including two teen boys! It was a fun day playing the various games like Sonic, Angry bird and even the new Fantastic Four game! We made our way to the bay and our server was super cool. She introduced herself, took our orders and followed up periodically to ensure we had all we needed. The set up is standard Top Golf. Spent a chilly Sunday here, but it wasn't too bad since they had space heaters warming up the whole table! They now offer bigger putters for baby golfers, so you won't miss the ball... I had an awesome experience at Top Golf on Tuesday evening. I went as part of a group and we had 3 bays. I was shocked to see how packed it was on a Tuesday around 6:30 pm. I would definitely recommend reserving and not walking in. Parking was ample with the lot across the street and I appreciated that they had security patrolling. We were seated at the bottom all the way to the left. The attendant/server came over and explained things to the group about how things worked. Our group ordered a variety of food and started golfing. I've always been horrible at golfing when I come here but surprisingly was able to hit a few balls after mistakenly swinging at the air. The food came out in a decent amount of time and was fairly good. We had wings, boneless wings, tater tots, pepperoni flatbread and cheesy macaroni bites. The wings were definitely a hit! And everything else came out fresh and was good. Overall, had a wonderful time and surprisingly won both games that were played...we were all novice golf players so that's not saying too much! However, it's a sad state of affairs when you use the ladies room and an employee is ON HER PHONE in the stall next to you on speaker and/or facetime!!! It should go without saying the obvious and when I brought this gently to the attention of the "manager" on the first level I can't say I was encouraged that he even cared or would do anything about it. Its not too much to ask to use the restroom without being broadcast on someone's call. I know you can do better, Too Golf. We haven't played golf together for a while so we decided to checkout this top golf location to hit some irons and drives. Tuesdays are half offs. So absolutely worth the time. Checkin process was very easy. If you're not a member, you will need to create an account to register your shots. If you don't care about your shot tracking and history then you don't have to create your membership account. It costs about $5 to create your membership. You get a bay for 2 hours. It was not crowded. Many bays were open. We got our own clubs but if you don't have your clubs, they have clubs for free. Great way to get back into golf. Ambiance is very nice. Each bay has bar tables and service was great as well. We ordered pizza and tater tots. Tasted pretty good. For 2 hours during the day time, it comes up to $15 per person if you're in a group of 3. Pretty good deal. Highly recommend it for golf practice or team/corporate events. read more

Wonderful service, amazing weather, and it is great for small group events or big outings!

The golf bays are high tech and I like paying by the hour versus buying a bucket of balls. The waitresses are very attentive and come by often. We opted for the picnic tables on a nice day. The waitresses swing by the tables way less than they do the bays. The service was slow. Slow to order drinks. 15 minutes to get the drinks. More time to order food. The food took about 30 minutes. Looking forward to trying the mini golf next time. The food was good and the only downside was the turnaround time to get drinks and food. read more

Most top golf's are pretty much the same but I liked this location because I shot the highest score ever here Service was good and I liked how they kept giving us water. We ordered a cookie pie with vanilla ice cream that was topped with marshmallows. It was very good since it came fresh out of the oven and was all melted. read more
