I've been searching for authentic Neapolitan pizza in Miami, and Pummarola completely blew me away. The pizzas here are simply fantastic. The crust, the sauce, the fresh ingredients--everything is just perfectly balanced. You honestly won't find a pie like this anywhere else in the city; the quality is on another level. If you love real-deal Italian pizza, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Five stars!

This is my second time having Pummarola Pizza while visiting Miami. The small pizza is the perfect size to share. The dough has a great flavor, and the pizza has the perfect amount of sauce and toppings. I ordered olives and was not a fan of them being whole. I wish they were sliced. We also ordered Gnocchi Alfredo, which was delicious. The Alfredo sauce was some of the best I have had. The Nutella dessert pizza was very good as well. I would have left the bananas off and put more strawberries on it. The combination of sweet strawberries withe soft dough and Nutella was a great flavor. The service was quick, our order was complete and was ready when we arrived to pick up. I did not go in and pick up the take out order so I cannot speak to the ambiance.

Went here for a group pizza making class. Our leadership picked the package where we got to make our own dough (and take it home), but then we were served Pummarola pizzas (and didn't make our own). I believe there's a class option to make your own pizzas too? Regardless, fun activity, and their pizza is fantastic. The direction on how to make dough aren't as intense/detailed as the Mister 01 class, but this class is significantly less expensive than that one. Overall, great spot for classic great pizza!

fresh, quick, friendly, and delicious with the pizza dough recipe on the wall opposite half of a red fiat 500! what more could you ask for!? came here for a quick bite late on a sunday night and was not disappointed. we got the crema di tartufo (sub prosciutto for ham) and margarita, both 14". it came out really fast and was delivered to our table outside--cute and casual spot for late night pizza. personal preference, i would've preferred the crust to be more well-done, but the flavor was on point. obligatory "i'm from new york," but i currently live in tampa and there's really nothing i've tried in this state that matches new york pizza... but pummarola scratched the itch better than anything i've tried in tampa. would definitely return! thank you, pummarola!

We had been wanting to come to this location for a while to try their pizza, its a cozy little restaurant in midtown, decor is cute with lots of Italian stuff and sayings. The pizza did not disappoint, only issue was that we felt the dough needed to be cooked a bit longer but overall its a 10/10, sauce was light and toppings fresh. You order the pizza and they give you a number and then the pizza is serve at the table to you. Service is quick. Pizza is around $ 11-16 personal depending on what you order. They also have option for other things like calzone, pastas, soups and salad if pizza isn't your thing. We had the Margherita and Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza both were great, will definitely recommend.

This place is awesome! I found my way here through their pizza making class. It was so fun! We started by learning how to make dough. The dough we made was put in a container to take home and make pizza as it needs to rest for a few hours. The they gave us prepared dough, which we flattened and then topped with sauce, cheese, etc. We enjoyed this experience a lot. Ivan was really knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Highly recommend for the pizza making class, but also to come and delight in some good Italian eats!

Pummarola lover! Today i tried a personal pizza, with pistachio, mortadella & ricotta! Loved it! Also went with a caprese, and was delicious! Pummarola has been my favorite since i used to live in Coral Gables & it never disappoints. Today i ended up having to complaint about the pistachio pizza- the staff hassle free made a new pizza for us and even made up by giving us a complimentary nutella crepe for dessert. Mistakes can happen, the important part is to recognize them & make the customer happy! They have specials Monday $6 margarita pizza, Tuesday $6 nutella crepe, and wednesday $6 penne pasta. They also have the frequent customer card- im excited i've reached 7 punches & my next pizza will be freeee. Yaay! Im glad i have a Pummarola in my neighborhood :)

Had the most perfect time celebrating a friend's birthday today while sipping on sparkling water, vino and making delicious pizza -- for an outstanding price! Huge shoutout to Ivan for making it happen, we got seated at 5:30 pm and began making our dough, which was the funnest part in my opinion. We then were able to keep that dough for us to take home, since it needed to sit for around 48 hours. Then, they brought out dough that was ready for us to need and make our pizza. Ivan helped us explain the entire process for us, helping us one step at a time. He was so patient as we were all laughing, and enjoying our evening and then got to add our favorite toppings of choice. From arugula to truffle oil and burrata, mushrooms, prosciutto you name it -- we all added our favorite toppings and once we were done, we put our pizzas in the oven and in a couple of minutes they were ready to enjoy. Pizzas were delicious + the vibe inside was so laidback and comforting -- I felt like I was at my house enjoying my time with friends! It was so great and I definitely recommend!

I've been to this restaurant multiple times, and it never disappoints. The vibe is very rustic and casual--great place to catch up with friends or have a casual date. I walked in, and there was a pizza making class happening, which was super endearing. I liked the displays of Italian wine & beer because it made the place feel more rustic and authentic. The food is specular. The crust they create is charred and pleasurably chewy, which perfectly balances the lightness of the dough. The flavors are always on point, bouncing between traditional and creative creations. I had the calzone, which looked like a panini calzone. The pesto was good and did not overpower the dish. The acid in the pesto helped balance out the richness of the cheese. The chicken was grilled nice, with charred notes that supported the charred dough. Overall, the meal, like all of their food, blends Italian simplicity, bold flavor, and lightness. Highly recommend!

This place makes Margherita pizza the way I like it. Prices are amazing! Fresh and, piping hot. I love the little charred spots on the crust. They have a Mondays special for a personal size pizza for $6. It's filling for sure. Glad it's close to my job as well. Makes for a nice quick lunch! It's small biy with ample seating and parking can be tricky. Few street parking spots outside the front of the restaurant however there a small lot in the back that you can easily miss. You'd have to drive around to find it. It's in Midtown so not too far from Wynwood if you're in the area.

Best pizza in midtown!! Only downside is tight eating space. Every pizza I've tried is DELICIOUS!! My favorite is simple: pepperoni! When you add too many ingredients the dough tends to get soggy. Service can be slow if it's a full house, but it's made fresh so you know it will be worth the wait!

I was happy to see Joe's here and this time I had to come back for a third time in Miami. The Caprese pie was my favorite. The ingredients here are way fresher than anything I've had in the west coast and the location was much cleaner as well! In general, we were disappointed with Miami's food selection but Joe's in Miami is where it's at! The service was average. They were friendly the first time but not so much the other times. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Good vibes, good drinks, amazing food, and great staff make for a wonderful experience after a long day of work. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did!

Glad to have finally tried!…read more Loved the vibe. Felt more New York like which is great because im getting tired of the Miami where people go out solely to be seen. Ok now for food: Negroni was good Fennel salad was very yum Carpaccio was good (I was expecting it to be a little better tbh but it was still good) Mortadella pizza was really tasty! Margherita was good too the tomato sauce was really tasty and not sweet yay I will say they have a thing of burnt pizza or as the cool people call it, "char". We asked to do light on the char because I was with my dad and there is no such thing as char in his book, it's burned. Which honestly I kinda agree. The char really just makes the whole bite taste burnt. They were understanding about making it less though.
