Nice place for used car parts. They have a good selection and you can rent a wheelbarrow for big parts or a golf cart. You can also print a receipt with the location of the vehicle you came to pull parts from. Recommend bringing boots or work shoes, because the yard itself is rocks which can be rough. Majority of the people at this store are very nonchalant, unprofessional and have an unwillingness to help customers, resulting in horrible customer service and experience. I've never experienced such poor customer service. They all move like they don't have a job or want to be there or care about people. They are short tempered with customers. The manager is rude and doesn't try to remedy anything or assist the customer in any way. He stays cooped up in his office away from the public. To make matters worse, the customer care team isn't even located at any location and can't give you any updates or accurate info on anything but parts and thats sometimes, which is inefficient and unacceptable in 2026. I went in for a rim for my car I already had a tire and no one told me that the machine/equipment that separates the rim from the tire doesn't even work and is out of commission. The staff and manager couldn't tell me when it would be fixed which is baffling. They probably have no intention of fixing it bc it forces customers to spend more money for things they don't need. Which is shady business practice and I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB. That day, I only had enough for what I intended to get, which was the rim because I already had already bought a tire for 118 bucks from Firestone. I asked the manager if he would just sell the rim to me with the tire at the price of the rim or a little more because I really didn't need the tire and it wasn't my fault that their machine wasn't working nor was it my fault that I was not informed prior to making the hour long trip there via public transport. He was rude, apathetic, cold, snarky and unwilling to compromise or negotiate. He is a disgusting person... None of the staff mentioned that the tools upfront were for customers to use to pull parts with and this is the second time I've been there. Pull apart is just not a customer centric or friendly company and I wouldn't suggest anyone go there unless they had to. Im still waiting to hear from corporate to call me back . Horrible experience, horrible people horrible customer service all around all the time. A fish rots from the head down. It really deserves no . Thats jist not an option. Be better people. read more

I was scheduled to sell them a car, they couldn't give a time for pick up. They said driver would call and let me know, he did call and said about 30 minutes. It took him over 2 hours. He had stopped for another car first. When he arrived, he stopped at of my driveway, yes I have a long drive way. But, he decided ​from there he couldn't get the car. He wasted a day of mine for this. I offered to bring car out to him, and he said he didn't have time to wait around on me, in a very sarcastic tone. Love this place and how they always save me tons of money. This spot is my go to always and worth the drive. An intake hose that would have cost me $80 only cost me $14 here. The place is well organized and I love how you can search the make and model of your car and then it's divided by marked rows. Versus other scrap yards were more hazardous as cars are unmarked and piled on top of one another. Now my baby is running good as new! read more

I recommend pull apart from experience if they say they have the car then they have it and also they tell you exactly what the car is located in the yard and trust me it is very big big yard but they have go-karts that you can ride so you don't have to walk that long walk and I know the last time I went I had left my money in the car to get in which was a couple of bucks but they let me in for free so that was pretty cool and the selection is enormous so if they don't have what you need they will have it in the week coming up read more

This is a great idea to be able to look up online and find a car that you can get parts off! The drawback is they have no information on the vehicles that they do have in their yard, so you have to spend your time driving to their place just to see if they have the one part that you need. So you're driving 45 minutes to an hour to just see if they have that part because they're too stupid to have pictures or any information on the vehicles that they do have. Pretty stupid idea... and what a waste of your time. You'd be better off ordering it online from somewhere where you know for sure you're getting what you're paying for and not wasting two hours of your day driving somewhere because somebody's an idiot and doesn't have an idea what they have. read more

This is one cool (and very useful) car junkyard. If you've heard at all about Pull-A-Part you can imagine what the place is all about but I was very impressed with the streamlined process here. If you have an old, commonly seen car you can easily find just about any replacement part for it here. My girlfriend recently had someone back into her car in a parking lot and smash out the tail light. At first we figured "Let's just take it to the repair shop and let them handle it then forward the charges to this poor honest citizen who hit our car and came to find us to tell us about it." Instead, we went with this option and it turned out to be a fun date. Not to mention we found and acquired the part we needed in just minutes - it took us longer to actually put it on her car. They have streamlined the process here to make it very straightforward. They are open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm. You go in, look up your car on their computers and mark down the numbers for which row you need to go to. You pay $2 per person to go in for as long as you want and tinker around pulling off whatever parts you want from any car out there. As you exit you pay a well reduced price for the parts you pulled. If you're looking for heavier parts or lots of them the junkyard provides a fleet of wheelbarrows for you to fill up as you wander the yard. You MUST bring in your own tools though and believe me you will need at least the basics for most items. Some downsides. This place is a bit sketchy, I won't lie. There are police here for security. It's pretty obvious that most folks here are looking to bank on used parts at their own car repair shops where they can easily turn them over for a 100% profit or more. Bring a friend, a minimal amount of tools and don't dress like a rich kid. Honestly if you're coming here in the first place you're probably a cheap ass. Also, don't bother calling in, their phone service is fully automated. The only way I found out their hours was by seeing them on the door. read more

It was 3 people working the other day, it was hot and stuffy and they were trying to do their best to accommodate everyone in a professional manner. I was really happy to see some good people doing their job to the tee even tho they are front line workers and covid is still such a big issue. They answered all my questions and helped me sign up for my vip membership since everything is so different since I was last there which was along time ago. It's way more advanced and the upgrades with the golf carts is totally awesome. I couldn't have made it in the heat and out of the heat without that or the 2 waters for 1.00 and those two awesome young ladies and the awesome young man who assisted me. Working in the heat can make people frustrated but they truly showed me that not everyone acts ugly under pressures of consistent work and a flow of customers. Again thank you all for everything you do. Because of you 3 my business there is solidified. I can't say that very often. The yard was totally clean, the rocks were easy to walk on when I needed to get out to take a look at a car. read more

I personally like this place alot. I have learned a few things about going here that I will pass along. if you are going under a car, take a large piece of cardboard with you to lay on. You can thank me later. If you are going in the summer take an girlfriend with you and a large umbrella. She will be pissed you made her go but you will be so happy that you had a gf to provide shade for you when you were looking up at the sun trying to get that damn bumper off. if I have the opportunity to take a pick up or van I always take my yard wagon with me. It just makes toting all my tools through the yard that much easier. They do have wheel barrows but a wagon is so much better. For the most part this place is a great deal, but I have found that some junk yards out there will actually take the the part off the car for you and have it waiting on you at the office for less than what it costs at pull a part. The idea of a yard having wrecked cars with parts that are still working, which can be sold to people that have vehicles working but parts that are not working. Again great idea. Reality, this place either never has the part i need and i usually need common parts like a headlight, or when they do, and thats a big IF, they charge more than the dealership???? Im actually thinking of starting this business because i have yet to find a salvage yard that contacts people back, actually HAS the part AND charges a fair price. I contacted dealership for my sedan and they wanted like 180 for a headlight. I found the OEM part on a 3rd party site like Ebay and it was $55. The salvage yard wanted $125, im like come on, this is a salvage yard selling a used part...like i said i have yet to see one that is any good in Charlotte. In south FL they find part in 30 min and it costs 10 times less than dealership. they know what they are doing down there! read more
