I can't say anything bad about these guys and will be recommending this Discount Tire to everyone that I know! Thanks Ramiro and team!

I didn't have an appointment, so the wait was about five hours, but I didn't mind at all. There are plenty of stores nearby, so I knocked out all my Thanksgiving shopping while my car was being taken care of. I ended up getting a great brand of tires, and for all four, I paid under $800. That's incredible considering other places quoted me well over $1,000 for the exact same set. My tires had definitely seen better days, so this price was a blessing. This shop isn't as chaotic or overcrowded as others I've visited, which I truly appreciate. The store is spotless, the staff is knowledgeable and honest, and--big bonus--the bathrooms are super clean. The whole place has a calm, organized vibe that makes you feel you're in good hands. Huge shoutout to Discount Tire Melrose Park. Ambiance? 100. Service? Even better. Highly recommended! Might I add, the front desk staff, the manager and all the techs are extremely professional and kind. I will defintely give this spit my rare 5 star!

I was in and out fairly quick, price was very reasonable, and they said I could come back every 5,000 miles to have my tires rotated for free. I left a very satisfied customer so when I hit a massive pothole last week that resulted in a flat tire and bent rim, I knew exactly where I wanted to be towed. Only there was one problem.... It was around 2p when the ordeal took place and though my insurance company quoted my 2 hours wait for a tow, it ended up being over 3 hours. Central Chicago Tire closes at 5p and the tow truck didn't get to me unitl after 5p. Lucky for me, the tire shop offered to wait for me anyways. I arrived to the shop after 5:30p and one of the owners and an employee were still waiting. I didn't know my rim was bent until they took the tire off my car. It wasn't looking good but the two guys went right to work determined to reshape my rim and trying everything possible. After a good hour of working on it, they decided to reinflate my old tire and put it back on the wheel in case the rim wasn't fully repaired. They didn't want to ruin the new tire. I drove on it a few days to test it out until I could find time to get back to the shop and have the new tire put on. The rim seemed to be fine and when I returned they replaced the tire and I was in an out fairly quickly considering all the other appointments they had. They also replaced one of my tail lights that was out and I walked out without spending a ton of money. It's been a few days and my tire and wheel seem to be holding up and doing fine. I will continue to monitor it but everything looks great. I am very pleased with the service again and will definitely return for any tire needs in the future.

Great as not many other shops offer the service on fixing rims. I arrived here a small but quaint shop. The owner took a look at the rim after needing to break the rim lock because I did not have the key. He then found a key they had for the wheel locks and gave it to me for free, which was great. He took a look at the rim and Called over the guy who specializes in rim repairs. He put the spare on, and within 2 hours they rim looks practically brand new. They are very honest with pricing and on the condition of tires and rims. Highly recommend these guys. Honest, priced well and fast service

THEY ARE CASH ONLY…read more Was fast and cheap! The only issue was the guy told me to go to the ATM "around the corner" to get cash to pay. That's fine, but I kept asking more info about where this ATM was supposed to be since obviously it wasn't gonna just be on the street, and all he would tell me was to just keep repeating "it's around the corner." Apparently, "around the corner" means "around the corner and across two streets and inside a grocery store." I don't know why the guy was being so vague about it. Tire is repaired though so. That's cool. Just maybe not the most friendly place to people who need specificity.
