This placed saved me right before the holidays. I had a nail in my tire. I Yelped local tire shops. I found El Paisa and I knew they would save me. Drove in and the guy took care of me right away. I'm so glad El Paisa was open today, not only because it's a Sunday but because it's a holiday weekend. I called several other closer places and they were closed even though they normally work Sundays. They took me as a walk-in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Fortunately I only needed a couple plugs but they looked over the other 3 tires and checked the tire pressure. I'm glad to have found this place and support a local business! read more

Second trip here in less than a month. I came in before the holidays for a flat tire and they had me in and out within 15 minutes. Loved the service efficiency. Back again for a similar issue. My tire valve broke off leading to extreme leakage. Both times I have had an easygoing experience and I will definitely be returning for any future tire issues. read more

So glad they have made it to the south side. I have been a loyal customer to their first location on Armitage. Though it was about a 45 minute drive from my home, the drive did not really matter since the prices and most importantly the services have been great. From the moment you drive in you are greeted with a smile and are made feel welcome, and this new location does not fall behind with it's very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I don't think i'll be looking for any other place for my vehicle needs since they now offer additional services here. Keep up the good work guys! read more

Really bad experience here. One of the workers acted confrontational towards me when I asked him a simple question about my tire. He would later go on to intentionally hitting my car with my dismounted tire, which prompted me to tell his manager. His manager explained that he is having a "bad day". Luckily, the impact of the tire against my car didn't leave any damage. The worker also suggested an alignment that would have cost me $100 with their partner shop. I took it to my local and trustworthy mechanic, who explained that an alignment wasn't needed and that all I needed was a tire rotation. I won't be back to this place. read more

There's no way ,The same tire I got fixed still having the same Object and it after leaving the shop.... what are the odds of that happen, I'll wait.... and then when I go back to let them know the problem. I go to El Paisa just because the owner Saul is the most professional oriented person I've ever dealt with, I live in the North side of Chicago, near Evanston and I pass a lot of tire shops to go to El Paisa, but the trip is worth it, Saul will take care of you no matter what, and very very fair in pricing, and it's really not the price because the treatment you get there is incomparable to any other business, and not only Saul, but all of his team, they take great care of me and my Infiniti G37, Great job!!!!! keep doing what you're doing and the sky is the limit. I finally tried El Paisa and they were great. They took me right away, fixed the tire quickly, charged very reasonable rates, and all while delivering great customer service. Best place in Chicago. Came in and they took care of me right away. A couple places tried charging me over $150 for only two tires and I was able to get some here plus get them balanced and aligned for under $100. I was out of there in under 30 minutes. My hubby has been going to this place for years and I've never even needed to get off the car. I've even referred my girlfriends who were once complaining about paying $30-40 for repairing a flat tire. Well, when I told her how quick and inexpensive this place was, they started coming here. The one time I had a nail in my tire at 8 pm on a Saturday (this place was closed-guess they need a time off, too) I realized how much I love this place. I ended up going to another tire shop nearby that was just about to close and they pretty much ignored me since I wasn't getting rims... so yeah, never will we go anywhere else. Oh and recently my hubby mentioned this place to my mom and she left the place so pleased with the service. She even got advice on her current car from one of the guys. She was soooo pleased!!! The only thing that happened that we were somewhat unhappy with was a tire sensor that they sold us for 'cheap' and after the sensor wouldn't turn off they said we'd have to take it to the dealer to have the computer reset (reprogrammed, whatever). So the dealer charged us and everything would've been fine except the sensor didn't last as long as we had expected. I'm not knocking off a star because the guy did make it clear that they didn't specialize in that so we kind of knew we were taking a risk. When I need to repair my tires this is the place I come to, they fix fast and correctly. There is Plenty of space for several cars to be inside to get fixed. There is no posting sign to know what the prices are for their services so I always guess on how much is going to be but I'll go back anyway. read more

I came into El Paisa several weeks ago to have 4 new tires put onto my Honda Accord . I drove up to the front on Armitage, but one of the staff flagged me down and said the best way to access the shop is from the back street (alleyway). It turns out they have a pretty efficient system of getting cars in and out of the long garage quickly from the rear so customers aren't stuck waiting extra time for their car. As for the overall service, I was impressed with how professional and friendly the workers were. As soon as I pulled up, two guys were at my car saying hello and waving me in. It was a hot day and I was shown inside to the waiting room (with A/C and TV's) while they worked. It took them less than 30 minutes to replace all my tires. They even put my spare tire back in my trunk for me when they were finished (bonus points!) Fast, friendly, and local - definitely worth the trip here if you need tires in Chicago read more

They are friendly and honest tire guys. The best I have been in Chicago area. I have steering wheel vibration on the highway and I doubt the balance of tires. The found them bent (thanks to the pothole in Chicago) and replace the rims with my stock bimmer. I will definitely go here again if I need tire services. read more

My husband went to get his tires put on and while they had the best price in the neighborhood they also gave him the 10% off by mentioning Yelp even though he didn't have it on his phone. We had the tires put on and rebalanced. They noticed one of the sensors was busted and offered a great price to fix it. Unfortunately couldn't get it done today but we will be back. I currently stay in the suburbs and was recommended by a friend I was a bit hesitant to make the drive but after my experience I will continue to bring my car and my entire families. Sometimes as women sadly we are taken advantage of and up sold to a lot of things we don't need. That's definitely not the case here very honest and nice employees.
