Organizing a memorial could have been incredibly stressful, but the Georgetown team handled every detail so thoughtfully that it felt easier than planning a Sunday barbecue. They truly took care of everything. The food was wonderful, the service was flawless, and every staff member treated our family and guests with kindness and dignity. The weather couldn't have been better... sunny but not too hot, so I felt comfortable without any covering over the seating area. There is a cottage several yards away where the bridal party got ready, and it served as the starting point for them to begin their walk down the aisle. One might think that the main road running parallel to the property would be disruptive, but it's not a very busy street, so you don't hear the cars driving by. During cocktail hour, guests were directed to the covered bar area to grab drinks and the venue had set up some lawn games like Jenga and cornhole for additional entertainment during this time. There was plenty of space for socializing and capturing photos. The reception was held in the Grand Barn that also had an outdoor patio area perfect for a buffet line. The large barn doors at both ends helped keep the air flowing and there were 11 tables that comfortably seated all the guests with about nine people per table. On top of this, there was enough space for a small band to set up and play live music. I loved the string lighting that draped down from the ceiling which illuminated the entire barn in a magical glow. Restrooms are in a separate structure out by the lawn, so it is a little walk away from the barn. Each one has two stalls and one sink. I believe both are gender-neutral. They were super clean, air conditioned and well-ventilated. I really admired the property grounds and the serene location away from the bustle of Seattle. From a wedding guest perspective, I would highly recommend Trillium for your big day.

The venue is truly stunning, featuring a fantastic location, a breathtaking fountain in the center of a pond, and ample space for parking and guests. There is a designated cocktail area where our bartender set up, allowing guests to mingle comfortably. The reception space is magnificent, adorned with beautiful lighting and silk draping from the rafters, plus a prep kitchen conveniently located next to the dining area, making it an excellent choice for caterers. One of the key advantages is that the rental spans from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, which alleviated any stress regarding setup and takedown. Additionally, there is an on-site Airbnb included in the package. We booked it for both Thursday and Monday, ensuring the groomsmen never had to leave the premises. This was the best decision we made for the wedding party. There is also a beautiful area for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready complete with their own station with a mirror, emergency items (bobby pins, sewing kits, hair spray, makeup removers, etc.) and outlets for hair essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Karissa and Tatijana managed the entire wedding with remarkable professionalism and care. On a day when it hadn't rained for over 25 years (talk about luck!), they skillfully accommodated and rearranged everything that needed attention without ever causing me concern. I am incredibly impressed by both of them; they are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. If I had more daughters, I would undoubtedly choose this venue again.

Two things I did not like:…read more1) they only let you have a rehearsal for an hour between 9 to 4 weekdays which meant anyone working normal business hours or coming from out of town could not make it. 2) Joanna interrupted me during the reception to go over the credit she was giving me. The highlight of working with this venue is Joanna. She is so incredibly warm and welcoming and focused on creating the event you want. She was available all the time and always answered emails and phone calls promptly. She is flexible and happy to meet and show you around and walk the grounds with you. She also suggested my amazing planner, Julia Pavlovski of Wedding Wise Seattle, and for that I am forever grateful (sorry, shameless plug, but it really was such a great recommendation). When I arrived to Robinswood on the day of, overwhelmed by everything that was going wrong (sooooo many things went wrong) Joanna saw me and gave me a giant hug and it really reassured me that she and the team were going to make sure everything in their power went perfect. And they did. The space is intimate. They say that they can fit over 200 people, but I wouldn't suggest it for over 100-125 as I feel you'd be quite cramped. We wanted an outdoor wedding and as it rained (even though the forecast was only 10% chance!!) on our big day, having the log cabin and awnings was a great relief for ourselves and our guests while the teams were prepping the reception area. The grounds are unique. I am actually a huge fan of the flow from ceremony garden area to cocktail/dancing area to reception area. It kept everyone organized and in one place. Additionally, their staff for day of is really great. We got compliments about the bartender and serving staff. I would say the things to be aware of is a lack of flexibility on their policies. Their policies are their policies and there isn't wiggle room, so if you were hoping to work with a specific caterer who isn't on their list, or serve liquor, or do a sparkler send off, etc be prepared to nix those ideas. In a way, it actually does make it easier for a bride to make decisions by narrowing down the options (trust me future brides, a million options is not always a good thing), but for people who have a very very specific idea in mind, talk to Joanna about those specific ideas before signing your contract to ensure detail you have in mind is allowed. Over all, we are very happy with Robinswood House. It was great for our perfectly imperfect day!

My now husband and I could not say no to a venue that was 1) beautiful 2) great price 3) had a closet full of decor we could use and 4) responsive owners that answered any questions that came their way. The decor planning was relatively easy since we used pieces from the closet for our entrance and reception tables. Most folks said I didn't look stressed throughout the process, and I believe most of that stemmed from Gray Bridge making it incredibly simple for us to use their items. We just had to take care of personal pieces, such as the entrance sign or guestbook. The only downside to this place is the drive, which is roughly an hour away from Seattle (or 1.5X during traffic time). We overcame that by starting our ceremony earlier than usual (330PM) so we could have our guests enjoy the venue for roughly 7.5-8 hours. Another perk to this venue is they allow any vendors onsite. We weren't stuck with having to buy X cases of wines at wineries or sticking with food caterers that were not on par to the quality we were looking for. Overall, I highly recommend you checking out this place and booking ASAP since their dates fill up well a year in advance.

To start with, the venue is absolutely gorgeous (our wedding was in June). We wanted a beautiful PNW backdrop to show our out of state guests and that is definitely what we got - everyone complimented us on it later! Gray Bridge is set up in a thoughtful layout that makes wedding days flow smoothly while also providing smaller, intimate moments for photos, games, mingling, etc. Additionally, Stacy and Matt go above and beyond to make sure everything is on track and the venue is set up to each couple's specific wedding day vision. It took so much of the uncertainty out of wedding planning to know that we were in such good hands and that Stacy and Matt had great relationships with our vendors, which really goes a long way. Finally, all the decor available to borrow definitely kept costs (and stress) down! We definitely hope to be back here as guests someday :)
