Tried a cornbread biscuit (which was from the brunch menu), the pork and bean chili and the kale pop salad. The biscuit was delicious. Flaky and light. The chili had a nice spicy bite to it and the portion for the bowl was very reasonable. Saving the best for last, the kale pop salad was incredible. Kale, shredded carrots, pickled onion, dried tart cherries, marinated cherry tomatoes. It was topped with little crunchy bits which I think were toasted quinoa. It came with a spicy 100 island dressing but honestly there were so many flavors you really don't need any dressing. The service was also fantastic. We sat at the bar to watch the Mariners game and Will was very attentive, helpful and patient while we decided what to order. We tried to close out with him before he left but he explained that all the tips are pooled and shared equally with staff at the end of the day which seemed pretty cool. This was the second time we have been here and will definitely be returning. Order the kale pop salad! It is apparently seasonal but may stick around if it becomes popular!

Solid food, basic pub environment…read more I'm oscillating between 3 and 4 stars, but I think for the value (at the risk of getting a smarmy response from the establishment's social media person, I will agree with other posts that despite the award-winning homemade food and staff being paid a living wage, it did feel a little pricey for what we got). My kids and I split a 13" pepperoni pizza. It was solid. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. Crust was thin, but sturdy enough to pick each piece up and eat with our hands without all the ingredients sliding off. Even splitting it between 3 people, we had 2 leftover pieces to take home. I also ordered a small Caesar salad, and it was delicious. Perfect dressing-to-salad ratio, loved how it came with brioche breadcrumbs that were simply part of the salad (as opposed to so many other places that have croutons that are giant and too hard to stick with your fork so you're left eating the salad and picking up the croutons separately - often with your fingers). While this review landed on 3 stars, looking over the wide variety on the menu, I can absolutely see how others have given it 4-5 stars. There were lots of options on the menu that looked fantastic - from starters to beer bread sandwiches and pie folds. The menu also had a number of desserts that looked quite inventive, and dessert is my favorite meal of the day. I just didn't have the wisdom to choose any of those options on this visit. Definitely a place worth coming back to and seeing if those other things are as good as the menu makes them sound. In sum, it's a solid, family-friendly place. Maybe try something more creative than I did.

Party window time is perfect: 30 minutes for set up, an hour or so of music and then time for cake and chatting/playing. Each child gets a party favor at the end of a "shaker" or a "handmade Peruvian whistle." We had adults from 16-65 years at our party and kids from 2-10 years old and the world music focus, space design and style of party worked great for that mix of ages, so that everyone was integrated into the fun. Logistics like parking, clean-up, online booking and payment are just the icing on the cake! Working with JamTown was a real treat!

Plus no table or place to put coats, bags, etc. Probably not the best place for kid(s) with any kind of sensory or developmental issues. But for older kids I could see it being fun though I still think you would need to limit the number of attendees. Parking can be tight but at least they do have some. Apparently parties are through word of mouth so the downside was that we didn't know what to expect-didn't see any info in their website. The other aspect that could be good or bad is that the kids didn't really have a space to burn off energy, so if you give them cake or candy be prepared for some hyper kids.
