The empanadas were great. Pan de bono reminded me of my childhood Colombian bakery so that was excellent. However, the matcha just don't do it don't do it. I should've known better but yeah the matcha was not good super watery. The barista forgot to add sweetener. When I mentioned that I did not like my drink I was told I should purchase another drink and the solution to the bad matcha was to add sweetener. Still didn't make the matcha better. Good matcha doesn't need sweetener. The response wasn't up to par with basic customer service and yeah just don't order matcha from here. Left unsatisfied and that sucks cause I really wanted to like it. read more

Walked over for a cup of coffee and have to say I was extremely underwhelmed. Place is cute but the coffee and the service was mid. The barista was short even though there was no line and the place was empty. After I got my coffee, I asked for additional syrup and she gave me an attitude about it. Every other coffee shop will be happy to adjust your drink if its not something you like, especially after paying $8 + 20% tip. Will not be going back. read more

A great little coffee shop in Astoria with a Latin twist! The decor is super cute and the girl who helped us was super nice. I'm not a huge coffee person so I got an iced matcha latte with lavender, and I loved it. My whole family got empanadas and after I tried theirs, I had to go back and get one for myself. It was so good! Everything was great, and I'd highly recommend stopping by here as an alternative to a bigger chain coffee shop for a different experience. read more

I stopped into this place when I needed to escape the cold and I'm so glad I did! It's cozy and has plenty of seating if you want to rest for a bit. The coffee is amazing as are the juice options - I got a ginger carrot as recommended by the barista to help build immunity. I got the Arepa with chicken and the limeade. Definitely not your typical limeade but i loved it. The arepa was delicious. I wanted it with tostones but there weren't any available. There is a smell at the place a bit earthy, i didn't mind it but just an fyi. When the food was ready i had to pick it up and it was a little hard to hear the person at the counter. The food was excellent which is where the rating is from. The space is nice and clean but a bit tight in space. And when there's a gaggle of 19 yo it's quite loud. read more

Great ambience of Hispanic music playing in the background and decorations are very beautiful! You must get the pandebono yuca (it's like cheese bread with a sweet outer coating), I was very amazed how perfectly the flavors came together! Their coffee is top notch and can't go wrong with any drink, especially their espresso. The service is relatively quick and no issues! Coffe, tea or hot chocolate believe it or not are the most disgusting thing and over priced that's why we never finished them but we didn't complained because I used to love the beautiful cheese empanadas from this location but lately they're not fresh or even warm so the girl who took my order gave me this disgusting thing full of oil after I asked her if she could heat it up a little bit for me. I worked in the kitchen and I know what she did but it's okay because we're not coming back to Pueblo Querido and if you guys want to try a very good empanada, pan de bono etcétera from a real Colombian place just go to Pecoshitas in Queens Roosevelt Ave. read more

Big,new & spacious coffee shop with Mexican fare & foods. Have a great colorful vibe to it. A huge coffee roaster in the center. Specialty items on the menu like corn empanadas, & arepas. I had a beef empanadas and ate it so quick, I couldn't take a photo. It was hot & crunchy with a nice warm meat and potato filled center. There is also matcha and other drinks aside from coffee.
