Mini trip to Mexico ... in idaho. Not just dinner but a cultural experience. The waiter spoke a little español wahoo! Mucho gracias sir! Food was eaten before I could take a pic. Phone eats first, but not tonight. Pro tip / bring stretchy pants

The food was alright, it came out super fast almost like they microwaved it. It is super expensive for the amount and quality you get. We were sat next to a super loud table that easily had around 25 people. The server rushed us at every turn, the prices were not listed for any drinks. When the server wasnt rushing us he was ignoring us. We paid 53$ for two entrees and two drinks

First time to McCall, Idaho. Asked a local what they would recommend for dinner and this was the place. We ordered the Flautas Shredded Beef and Chicken. We should have split this as one order would have been plenty. Excellent service and $44 with a beer each and guacamole dip too! Affordable, Excellent and served hot and ready to eat!

This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Idaho! Service and prices were great too I'd definitely stop here again. Minus one star only for the salsas, they quite bland and lack spice and kinda watery. The place was packed and we were still seated and served very quiz

Yummy food and drinks! Great service! Restaurant is open, clean, and inviting. We eat here every time we visit McCall because it's delicious. I had the enchiladas Jalisco very satisfying. I especially like their salsa. My partner said his favorite was the chile relleno

    They have a full bar.

Formerly a Holy Cow on Old State Street in Eagle, Pueblo Lindo has recently opening with a nice refresh of the exterior and interior and the same large menu at McCall and Meridian plus a lunch specific menu. Service for our large group was excellent, kept up with requests for drinks, more tortilla chips, salsa. We arrived at 11:15 and by noon the place was packed. Facility and service is a solid four stars, food is pretty much good, but nothing outstanding. Favorite is the chili verde pork. I've also ordered a sampler plate, a tamal ( good size, filling balance of masa and meat) a Chile Rellano (light on cheese) and shredded beef enchilada ( excellent beef, odd sweet dark red sauce) with the typical beans and rice.

Interesting Mexican food in Mc Call, Idaho! Good but a bit different my fav here is their habanero salsa - tasty and hot! You do need to request it and if you enjoy spicy this is for you! It went really well with their chips (served hot) beans and rice. Steak Ranchero - good but in a intriguing tomato sauce not sure we'd order it again! Tacos platter- good and filling Chile Relleno - good a bit more batter than I like Ok Mexican food but the salsa was really good!

For size comparison. My hands aren't that big! Lol

We ordered food to go. Lady was very nice on the phone. Ordered a taco salad with chicken, carne asada quesadilla, and burrito with shredded beef. The taco salad was soooo small. I guess I should've read the description a little more closely. Minimal ingredients. Worst taco salad I have ever had!!! I'm still hungry. Burrito and quesadilla were just ok.

I'd recommend based on the ample servings, fresh ingredients & friendly service. My guests & I ordered take out... despite them being crazy busy... we all got complimentary chips & salsa w/our meals... just do what i did to ease the wait: drink a non alcoholic margarita while u wait... prices were reasonable for the quality & it was nice that the lobby/entrance had plenty of space for waiting even during very busy dinner hours. Kudos to the efficient staff for smiling while running around!

Is this a place where people can dress up a little? Looking to go to an anniversary dinner. If not, any other suggestions?

YES! The atmosphere is casual and comfortable but a great place to celebrate your anniversary! My husband and I like to order the fiesta nacho (it's huge) and a couple of beers. The food is consistently good.

Overall, Spitfire is a great place to get your "Taco and Tequila fix"!!!!! Spitfire is a nice bar and restaurant right on Lake Payette. We were seated quickly at a table right on the edge of the outdoor patio overlooking the lake. We were greeted promptly and given water. There was a bit of a wait for the server to come to our table but they were very busy and as we found out understaffed. However, it wasn't terribly long and our server, Beco from Rome, Italy was very apologetic and attentive. We ordered the Mexico City Margarita and a Cabo San Fresco to drink, some Chips and guacamole, a carne asada Quesadilla, an Alta California Shrimp taco and an Al Pastor taco. The chips and guacamole came quickly with the drinks and rest of the food following shortly. The chips are great with Tajin and salt seasoning, and the guacamole was authentic with chunks of avocado, tomato and cilantro. Only complaint there is the guacamole was a bit small. It should have been larger for the amount of chips. The quesadilla was delicious. The smoky chipotle crema and guacamole on the side was excellent. The quesadilla was cooked perfectly with a nice amount of cheese and carne inside. Perfect. The Alta California shrimp taco had 3 nice sized batter-dipped shrimp and was very tasty. The Al Pastor taco was delicious and the meat very tender. There could have been more heat and flavor overall from the Al Pastor meat but it was a good taco. Finally the drinks were excellent. The Mexico City margarita was on point (note that this margarita is black in color due to the charcoal added). The Cabo San Fresco was very refreshing and floral with the Elderflower flavoring. Overall we felt the service, although slow at times was great, Beco was a delight, give it an A. The Chips and guacamole an A- (needed to come with more guacamole). The tacos a B+ as the Al Pastor should have been more spicy and flavorful. The Quesadilla an A. The Drinks an A as they were spot on. Some additional suggestion: There are many more things you can do with Churros. They should offer more Churro based deserts than Churro Lava cake. Also, offer a crunchy taco. Nothing better than a crunchy taco shell!

We were seated immediately and provided silverware, menus, and our choice of drinks. After a short time, the waiter came to take our order. We weren't ready to order and after asking some questions about specific menu items, the waiter said he would give us "a few more minutes" prior to returning. Unfortunately, he didn't return for 20 minutes, and even then we had to flag him down. Giving him our order, he returned in a reasonable time with our food. The chimichanga my wife ordered, described as "crispy" on the menu (and confirmed by the waiter prior to ordering), was soggy. The sauces tasted like they came out of a can, not homemade. The meat filling in my enchilada was dry. During the entire meal, the waiter never came by to see if everything was okay. My wife's chimichanga was so soggy and tasteless that she couldn't finish it, saying she would not come back. As for myself, I've had worse, but I too was unimpressed, with my enchilada dry and bland tasting. When we were finished, we had not received the check, and proceeded to the cash register to pay, where we had to wait for someone to take our money. I like to patronize local businesses, but I will definitely look elsewhere next time I feel like having Mexican food. Bottom line: The restaurant needs a thorough cleaning, the food is mediocre, at best, and the staff is inattentive in its service.
