If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Brought our family that was visiting from out of state here. Upon entering there was bacon, shrimp, and chicken sitting out on the counters and with bowls of meat stacked on top. Who knows how long it had sat out before we had come in. Took about 20 minutes for our family's order and our order to be served. We were concerned about food safety and were met with the most unbelievable attitude and rudeness I have ever experienced. We tried to express our concern for paying for food that was questionable and not wanting to get sick. We were told that we were already given our money back (nope, that was our family that ordered before us) and continued to argue with us that we ordered drinks (we had not). The cashier only gave us back $14 of our $38 order and when we reminded again the amount for our entire order (no drinks) the cashier threw the cash at my husband. Unbelievable. Take ownership and accountability for your lack of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and customer service. I would not ever recommend this place for food safety, refund dishonesty, and how they treat their paying customers. We had the Beria tacos and a burrito and they were amazing! The Bierria tacos were the bomb and the burrito was huge! The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. They have an upstairs that can also accommodate more people should you have a large group. They also have beer on tap! read more

Visiting some new places this week in McCall and KB was on the short list. I love fresh mex (Costa Vida, Qdoba, Cafe Rio) so I was confident I'd like this place. It landed 50/50 for me but good enough for a 4 star. I had the R&B Salad which was fantastic. Good portion, flavorful, and the dressing was solid. It was a bit heavy on vinegar so I only used half and that was perfect. Also, would have loved more steak. Very flavorful. $12 I also got the tortilla soup. I love a good bowl of soup. It wasn't good. Was more like tomato soup with zero spice. A couple chunks of avocado, tortilla strips, no meat. $7. Not worth it and I would pass 100%. Was a bit surprised at the $.80 credit card fee. That's pretty stupid. Absorb the cost. That's part of doing. business. Sorry. Don't pass these frivolous charges on to your customers. That's annoying. Overall I can see bringing back the fam for a quick and easy meal even though this visit was a bit hit and miss. read more

This place was conveniently located in the heart of McCall. The food is clean and fresh. A great option for those who are on vacation trying to stick to clean eating. I had a bowl with salmon and the salmon was well cooked and tasty. Walked away feeling satisfied but not full and bloated. They have lots of salad options too that sounded good and the food ordered by the people I was with looked delicious and everyone was pleased with their meals. We had a strange experience at KB's McCall. This sign seems pretty obvious. (1) Buy a burrito, (2) Buy a shirt or hat for 20% off, (3) Take a picture of purchased shirt or hat and post to social media, and (4) Get a free burrito. Simple, right? Apparently not. The person taking our order said that we don't get 20% off the shirt or hat until the picture is posted. She said we'd get the 20% off after we posted (not sure how that works since we already would have purchased it). She didn't seem to know anything about the free burrito??? The regular burrito is big and definitely the best bang for your buck in McCall. I'm not sure why others are saying it's subpar. Maybe mine was good because nobody else was there. This is my go-to place in McCall for a decent vegetarian burrito. Well, actually it's the only place you can get one. They also seem to be one of the few restaurants that maintain decent hours all year. Trying to eat out around here is challenging at certain times of the year because places just randomly close. But here you get good food, friendly service, and a nice casual atmosphere. Best chips and salsa bar too. read more

If you went to Albertsons and bought cooked tortillas, a can of black beans, some microwaveable rice, and pre made guacamole and added a tablespoon of chopped chicken.....you would have their recipe. The person taking my order is hacking like she is sick. Then the person bringing my order brought the wrong burrito. I even try to verify the order he is bringing me. And all the young guy says is "Yes". What kind of beans are on the burrito? "Yes" Is it black bean or retried beans? Yes. There was no chicken in my Hailey Burrito!!! Ate here twice this week, both times because what we had planned wasn't open. My husband and I were happy with both experiences, one more so than the other. That's just a matter of preference in the dishes we selected -- everything has been good and the service is prompt and friendly. My favorite burrito is the Ketchum burrito. Their food is great, but they always forget special add ons in your burrito, then you get home and it's not right. Not enough guacamole. When I've been there they always forget to add my red salsa in my bag. All they want to put in the burrito is too much rice and beans, and meat portions are way too small for the price. Staff can be quite rude, specially the cashiers. Check your bags before you leave!!! read more

Surprisingly bad burritos. Like absolutely terribly wrapped and if you get a shrimp burrito then expect literally 3 shrimp... Their signature burrito lacked flavor and was falling apart when I got it. Stopped by here one afternoon when all the spots closer to "downtown" had lines out the door, and it worked out well. I'd describe KB's as high-end fast food. Ordering is at the counter, drinks are self-serve. A mixture of indoor of indoor and outdoor seating...nothing fancy. No view to speak of. The food has a lot of variations on the Burrito theme, and most of the burritos can be had in salad form. I had a "Boise" burrito, an interesting mix of salmon, potatoes, chiles, and chipotle sauce. Burrito was somewhat underfilled, but otherwise decent. Son had a couple of different varieties of breakfast burrito - the first didn't fill him up, so he had to go for seconds. Good flavor for both, tho. All in all, a good choice, as long as you're not a big eater. If you are, budget for two entres. read more
