They got TVs everywhere you look. I sat there and watched the USA soccer game -- didn't even know we had a soccer team, but there it was, right in front of me on a big screen. Made it real fun to watch. The bartenders are real friendly and take care of you quick. They smile, they talk to you, they keep your drink full and don't act stuck‑up about nothing. If you like cold drinks, good food, and a bunch of TVs to watch the game, B-side the Mill is the place to be. I'll be back for sure.

Inside is long and narrow, with one table right by the window, high tables along one side, and bar counter seating on the other. We sat in the back, away from the front crowd, which could be loud. Our server, a nice young woman, provided good service. We both had the feta cheese salad, which also had candied pecans and pear slices, and came with grilled chicken (our choice) or flat iron steak, and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My wife is sensitive to most cheeses, and would have substituted mozzarella, but that was not an option. The salads were quite good, a nice healthy option to pub food. We would come back.

The backs of the wooden booths are hand painted with scenes that make you feel like you are in Mexico. Chips and salsa and warm bean dip were provided while we perused the extensive menu. I couldn't decide on a small combination plate with a Chili Rellano or the Street Taco plate. So I ordered the 3 Carnitas Street Tacos without beans and rice and a Chili Rellano Ala Carte. The food arrived on two separate plates because the Chili Rellano was so big and the 3 tacos were so loaded with meat you could hardly fold them over to eat them. Because I'd eaten so many delicious chips and salsa I couldn't eat all my food, so I took 1/2 of the Chili Rellano and 2 of the Carnitas tacos home for another meal. The next morning I warmed up the left over Chili Rellano in the microwave and had it for breakfast. YUM!! This is only half of the Chili Rellano.

The service was good, not fast but it was good after we finally got our server. The food the okay, bar food. Best thing was the fries in my opinion. Cheese sauce for the pretzel got cold too quickly and solidified and was hard to eat with the pretzel. Beer was tasty but only slightly coffee flavored. Huckleberry lemonade was good but could've used more huckleberry.

Came early-ish at 5:00 and there was about 50% of the seating available. Looking over the menu we agreed to get items to share vs doing individual items. Lots of options and the usual spousal "what do you want, idk what do you want" and we agreed to start with just one wings and one flatbread. Unfortunately as we are about to order they put on order of empanadas and the artichoke dip on the pickup counter and I blurted out, "and those". Then the food arrives...too much??? See pics. Well I can say not one bite went to waste, though it took two days(leftovers) to finish it all. We stayed only 2 minutes away and actually got another to go order of the dip again for the second night. PS we paid a few bucks for extra crostini(sp?) for dip, and used them all, highly recommend. Everything was great, the dip was to die for as were the empanadas. The place was packed by 6, and while only two employees handled it all they did a great job and earned a generous tip, which ain't easy from me. Place is cute and has a cool hangout vide with decent beer and very good wine selections. Gonna be hard choosing between our two favorite Donnelly, heck Valley County, eateries but at least the same folks will benefit.

Service was great, lots of great recommendations--we ended up (after much discussion) with hot artichoke dip, mushroom flatbread and pesto chicken pasta. Ambiance was very casual, surprisingly they weren't too busy since I think a lot of people got turned away next door. We did wait a bit for the food but it was fine since we were just on holiday. The pizza crust could have been thinner since they are referring to it as flatbread, but that's just a preference.

The restaurant is in a beautiful location right by the lake and golf course, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal while visiting Cascade. Everyone working seemed genuinely happy, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was clean and bright, and our order was taken quickly. We enjoyed our cocktails while we waited--mimosas with just a teeny-tiny splash of OJ and a Bloody Mary. No complaints here; they were made perfectly! The food didn't disappoint either. My friend and I shared the steak sandwich, while our husbands ordered breakfast dishes. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium-well, and we opted for the sweet potato fries, which came out hot and delicious. I would definitely visit Lakefront Bar & Grill again the next time we're in Cascade!

The place was very busy, and there was a wait. However, their system for handling new arrivals was disorganized. An older woman stood at a counter, and everyone lined up behind her. But, she never said anything, chatting with an employee, and no employees took charge. I walked to a register and was given a buzzer. Other people came after us, and also lined up behind this woman. Confusing and annoying. We waited about 15-20 minutes, and were seated. This was the only part of our experience that was good; a view of the lake. We waited close to 10 minutes, and our server came over, a young woman named Kiley. All of the servers were hustling, and I suspect they had too many tables. So, while she was doing her best, we received only average service. My wife being the generous, compassionate person that she is, we still tipped her 20%. The food was the worst part. We both had the surf and turf, an 8 oz sirloin steak and four jumbo shrimp. It comes with soup or salad (we chose salad) and two sides (we had a baked potato and fruit. Our salad and entree came out at the same time, which is a first world problem. Still, salads usually come out first and I prefer it that way. The baked potato was good, as was the salad. On the other hand, I was looking forward to grilled shrimp and these were breaded. Bummer. The fruit was like a canned fruit cocktail. Really? And the absolute worst: the steak. We asked for medium. It was dry, tough, and chewy. Essentially inedible, though I tried, but ultimately left a good portion uneaten. My wife did the same. This was the fourth place we ate at since arriving yesterday morning, and the only true disappointment. I'm not counting the hotel breakfast because you know what those complimentary breakfasts are like. No high expectations there. It is very possible that on a different day we might get good food and service. But, we'll never know.
