First time having Stecca! It's great! I'm a bagel lover, I just like mine on the hardier, tougher side rather than soft. They had a specialty bagel with fresh, ripe peaches and thyme which was pretty good. The cream cheese tastes really good, not sure how or why it tastes different from your average Philadelphia cream cheese, but it's got a little extra cheesy flavor in there. But the fresh made Stecca was wonderful! I did the smoked turkey but subbed plain Stecca for garlic and it was great! She didn't love the ratio of zucchini to breading in her fried zucchini stecca they gave us for free, but she just peeled it off and enjoyed it a little lighter. "Just not the vibe for breakfast," she said a little after noon. Definitely stop in, I'd be a regular if I lived here, I think. Friendly staff and good food.

This was our last stop before heading home from Chattanooga, and it was a nice way to end the trip…read more We visited on a Sunday morning, so it was pretty busy, but we only waited about 5-10 minutes before our order was taken. We ordered a cold brew, a tahini hot vanilla latte with almond milk, and two bagels with cream cheese and bacon. The drinks were excellent, especially the tahini latte, it had great flavor and wasn't overly sweet. The bagels were soft and fresh, and the bacon was a nice addition. The only downside was that the cream cheese tasted a little more tangy than I prefer. Seating downstairs was limited, but there is additional seating upstairs that felt quieter and more spacious. Overall, a great spot for coffee and a quick breakfast.

I arrived just as the owner was getting ready to close. Even so, he kindly welcomed me in and made me a sandwich, which immediately left a great impression. I ordered the daily special with a side of pasta salad, and both were excellent. The sandwich was generously filled, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. While waiting, I learned the owner has been running Figgy's for about 30 years. The restaurant has that classic local lunch spot feel, with regulars stopping in and a friendly, community atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of seating, and the service was genuinely welcoming. If you're looking for a local Chattanooga sandwich shop with great food, fair prices, and an owner who truly cares about his customers, Figgy's is absolutely worth a visit.

Even a little after 10am on a Saturday, you can tell this place is a very popular hangout. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but the line moves fast. I concur with other reviewers that the staff is so friendly, helpful and energetic. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait with a shot of caramel syrup. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it! I sat outside on a sidewalk bistro table and enjoyed both items immensely on a gorgeous Chattanooga morning. This place also has inside seating as well as a nice patio setup. So happy I got to experience this place! (P.S. The line is still out the door when I left!) :)

When we said no she lit up and proceeded to give us the grand tour.she not only talked about the menu items in detail but how the store was laid out physically including where we could find the restrooms! The owner, Greg of course, came over and introduced himself and shook my hand. He asked where we were from and we had a nice conversation about our journeys to Chattanooga residency (both of us were originally from IL!). We ordered the Greg Special (turkey and pimento cheese with jalapeños) and The Italian. Both sandwiches were outstanding but The Italian was the best sandwich I've ever had. No joke. We will be back and I'm going to look for opportunities to use them for catering business lunches! As I said, the service was outstandingly friendly and the establishment was super clean. Please give them a try and I promise you will NOT be disappointed! So, I have an update! My wife and I returned today (two weeks later) and took a friend with us. We got the Italian again and our friend got the club. The place was much busier this time (the weather was much better) but the food was just as outstanding as was the service! The establishment itself was just as clean as well in spite of the increased traffic! Greg was gracious and let us sample their baked desserts (thank you Greg) and they were delicious as well! We spied a chili pie on the menu this time and I am looking forward to Fall Weather to give that a try! Thanks again y'all for another great experience!

It was a little more busy when we came in but it definitely got awkwardly quiet closer to 1pm. They didn't have any music playing and the place is kinda big, plus noise tends to echo, so that made our conversation a bit more public than I would like. The church chairs also were kind of messing with the vibe. Looking back, I'm not surprised at all to find out the restaurant is affiliated with a church. But the food was great! My friend enjoyed her pizza and I liked my burger and fries. I think the burger could have had some more flavor to it and more cheese, but the bun was awesome and the fries were amazing. I'd definitely order the fries again. If you're looking for a vibey restaurant to have a private conversation, this is not the place for you lol. I guess I'm a NY bagel guy. The "Montreal style" bagels served here are thin, chewy, and slightly sweet. They remind me of unsalted soft pretzels.
