Crust is the best dive bar pizza place that is undoubtedly family friendly. Easy parking. We're on a (retirement) mission to try places we've never been to before. We don't understand why the waitstaff was so chaotic. Pretty slow on a Saturday night but the orders kept coming out wrong. Take out was returning pizza they didn't order, tables were getting some one else's orders and we were charged for items we didn't have. With that the pizza is good but not great. It definitely got better with a little salt . Crust in thin and toppings are ample. We thought it was a bit pricey. I did enjoy the house salad and the homemade kalamatta olive and feta dressing. I got a to-go order and they quoted me $30 plus $1 for extra pineapple. I had to pay $42 because they included over 20% tip!!! And i asked why and they said because people dont tip the waiters, mind you again, i ordered to go, which i wouldve left a tip for the kitchen. The staff couldn't be nicer, and made every attempt to make sure that we had the best experience possible. In spite of unexpected staff shortages, our food was good and the service friendly. my sister ordered a pizza to go and I picked it up and it was $42... I didn't know what she ordered so I just paid. when I got home my sister was surprised and called the restaurant. the server was rude and said the tip was already included because people don't tip servers... WE WERE NOT SERVED, IT WAS TO GO... also, we should be able to TIP whatever amount we want NOT forced to tip what the person in the register wants to charge. we are definitely not going back to this overpriced average tasting pizza. we try to support local businesses but this is taking advantage of your customers. read more

Love the hipster atmosphere of CRUST!! Plenty of seating and super friendly servers! We ordered beer and pizza... the perfect combination right?! They have several nice beers on tap. Since we are Chicago pizza lovers, it was a nice surprise to get our pizza cut into squares... YAY!! Annnddd, it was just delicious. We ordered cheese & sausage. The thin crust was GREAT... stood up to the 'crispy test!' There was plenty of sauce and toppings. Fresh mushrooms mmmmm and delicious Italian sausage. Only thing I could mention is the sauce may have needed a bit of salt. Our server said they offer a 'dusting' that is really good, so we'll try that next time, and there will definitely be a next time! There's two locations but we were at the Saint Elmo location. We ate here 15 months ago and my then-9yearold has mentioned three times since then how horrible the pizza was at the restaurant - he didn't like the fancy grown-up toppings, he didn't like the cheese, and he points out, ironically, he really didn't like the crust! - and he didn't like the mug shots and pictures of criminals with cigarettes that are right by the seats and booths. It was fine. We went with a group. Could've been more kid-friendly. But I told him that I respected his opinion and that I would go online and spread the word. We're from out-of-town, Restauranteurs, so no need to respond, we're not regulars and we're not spreading evil things about you. My 1 kid didn't like your pizza. That is all. No worries. I haven't had much pizza in the Chattanooga area, but this place was perfectly acceptable for your pizza needs. I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza and this place specializes in it. They have some unique pizzas and an $8 pizza buffet from 11am-2pm. We ordered a specialty off-menu pizza called BARF (bacon, artichoke, red pepper, and feta cheese). Best pizza in town by far...this is a gem of a place. Also, THE BEST RANCH EVER. I know that's a different kind of rating, but I promise you have to try it. There's something about it. If you like thin crust pizza and like a family friendly environment that treats you like family this is the place. Yes this isn't your traditional pizzeria, but Other places are over rated on how good their pizza actually is. We popped into crust after hitting up the Bi-Low for some Thanksgiving grocery shopping. We were starving and it was nearby. I dig Crust. The atmosphere is cool. There's certainly a music lover involved in the decor because they have a ton of cool tour posters decorating the walls. When we went in they had both a lunch buffet or you could order from the menu. My boyfriend and his son ordered and I got the buffet. When I requested something specific for the buffet, they made a fresh hot quad (a quarter pizza) and brought it right out to the table for me. I prefer thin crust pizza so Crust's style is right up my alley. My special request, which included sausage, mushroom and olives, was awesome. I expected canned olives and they brought out fresh, whole kalamatas. I would recommend Crust to anybody who needs a quick meal, has a large group or kids, and wants a hot slice. The servers are very friendly and good at their job...we have always had excellent service. Crust is okay at best, and it's rather pricey for being just okay. I can dig some tasty thin crust pizza, but their dough doesn't have much flavor beyond a mild sweetness that isn't well suited to pizza. They do offer a wide selection of interesting toppings. But at half the price for takeout, I'd rather go with Mr. T's more limited but more satisfying selection. Also, the cheese crust is a rip-off - $4.50 for five pieces of that not-so-good crust coated with a thin layer of flavorless cheese, are you kidding me? If choice ingredients are important to you, I recommend Lupi's downtown location instead. The only thing Crust has that Lupi's doesn't is a parking lot. read more

A wide variety of concert, celebrity, movie and musician pics litter the funky green and orange walls. Old hard wood booth and table seating available. They have a lunch buffet that includes a salad- add a drink and you are paying just shy of $10.00. If you are on a budget you can get pizza's by the quarter and keep it under $5.00 and (believe it or not) get filled up. I really like the pizza. As the name implies, it is thin crust and really crispy. The topics are fresh and tasty and if you like pesto pizza you are in for a real treat as they grow their own pesto. Insofar as their pasta dishes...well..did I mention that the pizza was good and the staff friendly? Yes, their pasta dishes have a lot to be desired. Pretty greasy and tasteless. I hate to say that because I really like the staff and the pizza. They are really great and accommodating. Let me sit here (as a paying customer) using their FREE WI-FI when my power was out. And when we foolishly ordered from the wrong Crust Pizza they let it slide and made us a fresh meal here. We stopped by here to try this $6 all you can eat pizza buffet that we heard about it and it was okay. I've had better pizza, but for the money, at least it wasn't short on the toppings. Obviously, I was there for the lunch buffet, which as best as I can tell closes around 2:30 or so. You can opt to add on a salad, but who goes to a pizza buffet for rabbit food. There isn't a large variety of pizza... there was a sausage and pepperoni pizza, a pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, what tasted like a cheeseburger pizza (wasn't sure what it was), and the remnants of a cheese pizza. They may have others at other times. All the pizzas are thin crust. The pizza was decent, as I previously mentioned, lots of toppings (unlike other pizza buffets) . I arrived a little late for the lunch crowd, but the buffet was still open. I was a little confused as to what to do when I walked in. There was no "please be seated" sign and two employees were standing behind a counter looking at the cash register. I stood by the door, unsure of what do for a minute when another employee came in from the patio and told me to sit wherever I like. Once seated, the server was great. She came right over and took my order and kept up with my drink refills too. The cashing out of the check was a little slow, but overall a good job.
