Ordered pull apart cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. Asked for order to be ready at 4pm. Arrived early and was told they had my order but it wouldn't be ready until 6pm. I said ok I will come back. When I returned the same staff that told me to come back at 6pm stated they didn't have an order for me. Then a large white woman decorating/frosting the cakes coughed directly into the frosting bucket. This was a deep mucous type cough, didn't turn her head or dispose of the frosting. She scooped out more frosting from the bucket and continued frosting. Truly Gods divine intervention that they lost my order. read more

I switched to this store from the Atlanta Rd store because of the poor quality of the fried chicken. Sadly, this store is in the same boat. The chicken was supposed to be single-battered. It was not. I called in a cake order on the 24th for pickup on the 26th at 6:30 pm. Something told me to call earlier on the day of pick up to make sure they would have the order. I called around 4 pm and was told they could not locate my order, said maybe I called the wrong Publix. No, they misplaced my order in the "large amount of cakes they had to make" as they told me. Yet, when they found my order they read back to me verbatim what I asked for. I asked for the number 23 in all vanilla cupcakes with all pink icing and to write "Happy Birthday" on the board. As you can see, there is not all pink icing and no writing. However, because I picked it up with only 45 mins to get to my destination, there wasn't enough time for a remake. THANKFULLY, the birthday girl did not mind and was thoroughly pleased with the flavor. So they got off good this time. I am not pleased with this transaction and I hope for better in the future. read more

Love my New Publix!!! I have always been a fan of Publix so I was so excited to see this one close to my house. I could not wait to go check it out. I also received a $5 welcome to the neighborhood coupon from them which made my visit better! The store was clean and very organized, its set up a little different that my Old Publix on South Cobb Dr. Ms. Dorothy help bag my grocery and was an absolute peach, her personality completely rock! She even offered to take my grocery to my car ( I respectfully declined). It was also refreshing to see management out on the floor, and at the front making sure the store is running as it should....LOVE THAT! This looks like the start of a beautiful relationship. I came to publix to get a deli sandwich and pick up a few items. I remember when publix use to have the grill and made hot sandwiches right in front of your face. Oh the good ole days. I ordered a philly cheese steak sub. I was disappointed that they had to cut the meat and put it in a toaster oven. It just doesn't give you the same flavor. Then they re-toasted it again with cheese on top. It took a good 20 minutes just to make this sub That is entirely too long. I also got chicken wings and they were OK not super flavorful. I will say that everyone that we walked by that worked there greeted us and they were very friendly. I appreciate good customer service. The store looked very clean and well stocked. I have had the cupcakes and the cream cheese frosting is what I dream of at night. It hasn't lost its essence. It's a nice publix to go to. I probably won't get a philly again but I will try another item. read more

This review is strictly based off of the deli. Around 11:45 I decided I wanted to order a chicken finger sub that way I could go pick it up later. After going online and placing my order the earliest they had available was 12:30 for a pickup. I ordered the sub exactly as I wanted and simply had to just wait until it was time to go get it. 12:25 rolls around and I head to the store. I got there at 12:30 walk to the warmer to grab my sub and it wasn't there. I'm thinking okay maybe it's somewhere else. I asked and was told no one made it yet. Now normally it wouldn't be that big of an issue, but as I only receive a 30 minute lunch this completely defeated the purpose of ordering it early. I stand there waiting and waiting about 15 minutes later I finally got my sub. I am now having to rush out of the store and rush back to work to get back in time. I get to work get ready to eat it and see that the sub was made wrong to begin with. I have no idea how you can order online, make it exactly how you want it and still not get it right?! I mean the chicken was still nice and fresh but it was definitely disappointing having to rush through a lunch that I spent most of my time at the store for. read more

Customer service was horrible. I went in to get a seafood boil and the gentleman working the station had an attitude as if I wronged him asking for a pound of shrimp and 2 crab clusters. Nothing like being treated like an inconvenience to motivate me to spend my money elsewhere. read more

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. Everyone is so courteous and helpful I never have to try and seek out an employee. Lately I've been noticing that they have been more insistent with escorted customers to their cars with their carts full of groceries. They won't even accept tips! Believe me I've tried! I feel bad because IIA fully able to load my own groceries into my car but they insistent on coming outside and doing it for me for free. That's a whole new level of customer service. As I pulled up tonight I saw a young man escorting a customer out, all the while making conversation and laughing. Publix is doing something right when hiring their employees. The WORST pharmacy ever! They are rude, not helpful and slow with service! The only reason I was going here is because they are only three miles away but I've had enough. I'm switching tO mail order and it's cheaper!!! I promise every time I go there it's a problem. Even when I'm standing in line I hear other customers frustrated. They can never explain why I'm sighing I've been consulting on the meds when they never provide any guidance. They do not understand that when most people come to a pharmacy they are there tto pick of meds because they are sick or a loved one is sick and do not need the shenanigans they pUt you through!! I wish they had a ZERO rating for this store. I have been using this store for a few years and its always the same with script refills. First, I am a Good RX customer. They NEVER give me the Good RX price!!! Second, they usually do not fill all my scripts at one time requiring a second trip to the store. That combined with the sultry attitude I have to deal with when I call them out on it has me really fuming. The pharmacist, whom I have spoken with several times concerning this ineptness is not one bit of help!!! I guess I shall start going somewhere else with my business!!! I am a long term customer of Publix but I will not visit the store again. Stopped by on a Saturday morning to pick up lunch since I was going to be in class all day. During class we have breaks for lunch and dinner. Class runs from 8 am to 7 pm. Went to the deli to pick up a new favorite sub and found out they had no BBQ pork. The store had been open for 30 plus minutes. The associate in the deli says one can be cooked in the oven. I walked to the service center and waited for an associate to show up. Explained my story and she made a call on the PA system. A few minutes later the phone rang. She listed and then made a second call on the PA system. Out of the office bunker another associate shows up. I explained the issue and learned the cook shows up at eight AM. Who knows how long it takes to cook and get the BBQ ready. The best Publix Sandwich shop in Cobb County. They make everything correctly, co cut corners and fast! I love it! Also a great bakery selection for cookies and pies. I'm only rating a 4 star instead of 5 because the pharmacy is soo slow. You can finish shopping, order and enjoy a sandwich and still wait 15+ more minutes for a prescription. As many times as I've been here I'm surprised I've yet to ever write a review. Well today is the day! Probably one of the best groceries stores I've ever been to. My family and I have a full course dinner ever Sunday for a lot of people and general we end up going here twice if not more times a week. There fish and steaks are much better than for example krogers. Some of their prices are a little high but if you look for a coupon you can generally get it cheaper, and again it is of better quality so it is defiantly worth the buy. Never had a problem with the parking and I think that is a wonderful thing because I've been some places I wish I had a handicap sign for the car .-. Oh and one thing, there are a lot if public commercials that talk about great customer service and I have to say I completely agree with that. I don't know where they get their people but they're so nice it almost feels awkward trying to return the smile and greeting. Ps that offer to take your buggy out to the car if needed. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This has got to be the slowest Publix with the worst customer service. I ordered a sandwich online and I'd waited for 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me once I got to the deli section. Sometime eventually spoke to the male standing behind me asking if he had an online order, which he hadn't. Still no eye contact towards me. After 10 minutes, sometime finally spoke to me and had my online order sitting next to them this entire time I was waiting. I am not the only person who's reviewed this Publix and complained about the workers in the deli section so there must be an issue there that needs to be addressed. Wait a minute!!! Bubba burgers were frost bitten when I purchased in July. When I decide to purchase again in August bubba burgers still frostbitten they do not rotate their stock at all. Most of the cashiers are friendly but there is this one older male cashier who was rude and unfriendly. But his bagger an older gentleman was so pleasant and friendly. Was on my way to a meeting and stopped quickly to grab something for lunch. I decided to go to the deli to get some wings. The lady working in the deli (Wylene) was rude and inconsiderate. I waited patiently for her to finish with the person in front of me. Just as I was about to step up, another store employee (Amy) walked up. Wylene then says rudely "She's next". I don't know for sure whether Amy was there and step away to get something or if she was getting cuts because she was a store employee. Either way, it was rude and unprofessional. I really wanted to just walk away but didn't have time to stop again. But I will not be returning. I was already grossed out and turned off from a couple of previous visits. Once when I came to get a sandwich. The man making it had a huge booger hanging from his nose. I didn't want to be rude and cancel my order so I could only pray to God that it would fall into my sandwich. When he handed my my sandwich, I had to literally check to make sure it was still in his nose. Another time, I requested my choice of sandwich...the same that I always get. The employee told me that the chicken finger sandwich was on sale. I declined but as he kept insisting it was a better deal, I finally agreed. He took SEVERAL chicken fingers and chopped it up. My sandwich was OVERFLOWING with chicken. It could barely be folded. Now, this may not seem like a bad thing except that the chicken was extremely dry and tasteless. And likely old. I see why they were running a sale. And I see why the man wanted to get rid of it. The publix store in general is way over priced. They do the bogo items which is great if that's the particular item you need. However, all they do is inflate the prices of other items. Yes, this is marketing but I can do without the excessive inflation. For example, I was looking for oxtails once. Ended up buy it $5 something a pound. At Publix it was $7 something per pound. I had the most horrible experience at this Publix (New Macland Rd) that my husband and I frequent 2-3 times a week, spending lots of money. I went through self checkout ( like I've done before). I hate the loud volume, so I always turn it down. I do the same @ any store that has self checkout. This time, things went a little different. The young man who was watching self checkout comes over as I'm scanning the two items that I had and reaches across me to access the checkout screen. I'm thinking something is wrong with the machine. He tells me that the volume must remain up. So I asked him (Manny) why and he couldn't give me an answer. So I turned it back up. It seems as if he was insinuating that I was trying to take something without paying for it. It's vey odd that there was several other customers in the self checkout area, but he was fixated on me. I was so pissed off and decided to leave to keep the situation from escalating. I've since reported it to the manager, Deitrick (unsure about the correct spelling). She advised me that this was not a policy and would speak with the associate. I plan on contacting corporate tomorrow because I feel that I was singled out & the entire ordeal was embarrassing. read more

This particular location opens at 7am. This is very convenient. I stopped in at about 705a to pick up some St Patty's day cupcakes and a few birthday balloons. When I walked in, I was greeted by so many employees. Everyone was smiling and appeared to be in a great mood for it to be so early in the morning. The customer service was amazing and they made me feel happy as I walked through the store. Today I was totally disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service of my neighborhood Publix. I went to get a sub sandwich from the deli. When I arrived both of the sandwich makers were preparing pre-ordered sandwiches. The male employee said he'd be with me as quickly as possible. Then when he finished making and bagging the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches he disappeared. No word of his departure or his return was given to me or his coworker. The female coworker eventually noticed he had stepped away and had the audacity to ask me where he went. Like, really? I continued to wait another 5-7 minutes until finally my patience had ran out. I considered talking to a manager, but after waiting a totally of 15 minutes or more for a sub sandwich I decided I would not spend my money with them. Publix truly let me down today.
