I came here looking for batteries and decided to take a look around. To my surprise, I found a rather large footprint store with a drive thru Rx and Health Hub clinic inside. This location is at a busy intersection of Spring Road and Atlanta Road. Inside, store was quite clean and large. Easy to go hunting around for something small. The Duracell batteries (CR 2016 and D size) that I needed were in stock, sort of hard to find for a small remote control so lucked out. They just bright out some candies and Easter food products. I really wanted some peeps but decided to hold off on the little yellow marshmallows for now. But lots of snack options here. Check out was painless. The staff person asked if I wanted to join the Care Pass program. I wasn't sure what it was but signing up gives you $10 bucks off. Might be worth checking out and considering if you go to CVS often. Pretty nice corner store for incidentals in Smyrna. read more

My physician submitted a prescription this morning at 10:00 a.m. I called at 1:30 p.m. to check the status, but I couldn't get past the virtual answering system--which repeatedly stated that I had no active prescriptions--to speak with anyone in the pharmacy. On my third attempt, I was finally able to leave a voicemail, and someone did return my call. I was then informed that the staff was on their lunch break and would begin working on the prescription once they returned. I was told it might be ready between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m. If you need medications filled promptly, this may not be the best pharmacy to rely on. It appears that prescriptions are not processed until you manage to reach someone directly. read more

Went here for the rapid Covid test just before I went to visit my daughter in New York. Although I have no symptoms I just wanna make sure I am not asymptomatic. The test itself was simple but now they make you have a minute clinic exam which I think you have to pay for even though the test is free because it's covered by the care Zack CVS needs to make their money. Therefore I am giving them two stars because this is an unnecessary visit with minute clinic. There's a little shack on the side where you enter and go into a temporary cut that says CVS health. Test takes around 10 minutes. You do have to wear a mask. And reservations are required! This rapid test is not valid for traveling to Hawaii read more

This CVS is located at the corner of Atlanta and Spring Road and is our go-to in the area! While the store is your average size, the parking lot is smaller so be careful coming in and out of this spot. The store is always well stocked, organized and clean. They recently went through a minor renovation where the clinic area was upgraded and updated with check in desks, waiting areas and additional patient rooms. I have been here to be seen in the clinic, pick up prescriptions, medicine and other items. Each visit has been solid from entry to exit. Service is good here as well from the pharmacy to the front counter clerks, never an issue! As mentioned, this is our go-to quick service pharmacy in the area! read more

REVIEW FOR RAPID COVID TESTING ONLY They call you & you go into the white hut, your vitals are taken, you take the test then wait in your car for another phone call. Then you go to inside to the minute clinic, they take some more vitals & give you your test results. They were very friendly & the whole process was easy. This CVS' pharmacy staff is so unprofessional and rude. For a brief moment they had a new female pharmacist working at this location and when she was there things ran smoothly. Now the male African pharmacist is back and things are chaotic. When you try and call they won't answer the phone or if they do, they will slap you on hold and never return to the phone. My doctors office sent several prescriptions to be filled and they never filled them saying they needed insurance approval. Mind you these are the same medicines that I have been having filled over the years. Called my insurance company and they said pre approval was not required. These employees all need to be fired. I wished my insurance company Aetna would end ties with CVS pharmacy. Do better! read more

I had to transfer my prescriptions here due the other one closing up the road and I'll be finding yet another place to transfer them to. I had the worst experience with the pharmacy here , they all were yelling at each other when I walked up no one wanted to wait on me, not even a hi how can I help you just .. ya name. The pharmacy customer service 1. Ignore the customer and they will go away. Don't ever give them eye contact or they may actually get their request in. 2. Pretend you didn't get their prescription. This is especially helpful when they are about to close and you just spent 2 1/2 hours at the urgent care to get this prescription but now can't get the prescription filled. 3. Tell the customer that you'll help them after they close and throw in a 'I promise'. This is a classic trick. Then yell at the customer and tell them that "you" stayed "late" for them to try to make them feel guilty. 4. Fake phone call. Pretend you're on the phone so you can't help someone. This is by far the worst service ever. As a provider I don't understand the level of customer service at these locations now. For my wife to be told to relax because she was promised FREE DELIVERY of her medicine ( which by the way she was promised 2 day) is just ridiculous. It's not the first time as a Corporation they have double dribbled the ball. Even the district manager just makes excuses and not really providing a solution. My recommendation is to just transfer you prescription to Publix or heck The medicine shoppe if you can. Even the CVS in Target is not any better and their attitudes are horrible. This store needs customer service improvement. I've been coming to this CVS pharmacy for over a year to pick up my prescriptions and purchase products. On Saturday 9/25 at around 2:30pm, I picked up my prescription. On my way out, I threw away a piece of tissue paper in the trash can in their Minute Clinic. I didn't cough or sneeze into it. There was no one in their clinic either. Suddenly, a young girl with braids yells from behind the cash register in front of a weekend crowd of customers with anger and irritation. "MAM, THERE IS A TRASH CAN OUTSIDE IF YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR TRASH!!!!" I couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe how angry, petty and senseless she was. All this yelling over a piece of tissue paper? She treated me like I was a five-year-old. If CVS doesn't want customers to throw trash inside their store, they should have signs. I didn't respond to her Tik Tok level of drama and walked out. Later that afternoon, I received an email survey about CVS and I eagerly responded. A kind staff pharmacist, Vincent Ohaya, responded that evening in response to my situation with apology and concern. Thus, I am giving this review two stars. He indicated that he would forward my survey response to the store manager and haven't heard from them since. I will never go back to this store again. CVS, did you gain anything by her actions? Worst pharmacy ever. My urgent care called my tamiflu meds in right away, and they kept saying they did not get them. Their pharmacist keeps telling us that they're closing soon so too bad come back tomorrow, meanwhile I'm in agony with Flu B. My urgent care proceeded to send my prescription in FOUR more times and they are literally saying that "my urgent care must have cancelled it." PLEASE LET ME TELL YOU my urgent care doctor was ON THE PHONE on speaker calling out this lie. They then tell me to COME INSIDE (with flu). My husband went in and fully sat there for twenty minutes while they continued to ignore him, continue saying they won't give it to me, and at 8:00 on the dot proceeded to CLOSE THE PHARMACY GATE IN HIS FACE. I kid you not. They then said to take it to Publix to have it dealt with, which is the second time in a week they have told me to just go to Publix to get the meds because they either don't have them, or won't fill them because the prescription is too much work. If I NEVER have to set foot in this specific CVS, again (the STORE and the Pharmacy) I absolutely will NEVER, again. The pharmacy always treats me like crap! No professionalism, no customer service, no empathy, no respect, no LISTENING, no eye contact, and God forbid, you misunderstand something or need further clarification or questions answered, bc they will be of no help. When, they get attitude with me, I present the attitude in return, and then you get to see the other employees (specifically in the Pharmacy) eyeing each other and basically rolling their eyes. Then told me my prescription had not been called in and they have nothing for me in their system. Go here all the time, the people are always the sweetest. I get what I need (and plenty of what I don't need) and rack up my coupons. Seriously, no complaints at all! Also the minute clinic was efficient for me and my family, and I have never had a problem with the pharmacy either. We tried calling the pharmacy and we were transferred to a number where a woman told us to stay in the car and keep waiting. A woman walked out eventually and told us the covid testing was cancelled. The tester called out because he had COVID. They had no one else to complete the testing. The women told us we should have received an email about the cancellation 15 minutes ago.. we never did. read more

I can safely say this is the world's worst pharmacy. I have used them for years...but this last year has been exceptionally bad. I don't know if they had a change in management or what, but nothing here is simple, and the attitudes of the people who work in the pharmacy are terrible. In my particular instance, there have been multiple times I have come in and they have claimed my prescription is no longer valid, etc. When I speak to my doctor, he assures me that this should not be the case. I just came in to get a simple prescription refilled, and for the THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE MONTH they have said they need to get another authorization. It makes no sense, and when I complain, they always blame the computer. Last month the issue was that I had called in my prescription two days in advance, and as informed by the automated system that my prescription would be ready by 9am. I came at 2pm to give them extra time, and of course it was not ready. When I became upset, the pharmacy tech told me it "wasn't her problem" and that they had "nothing to do with the automated system." I let her know that YES, you DO have something to do with the system because you are employed by the company that uses it. I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. Disaster location. read more

Came here for my pharmaceutical needs, and I must say, that trip was the best experience i have ever had from a pharmacist. Both pharmacists actually. I dropped off my scripts via drive thru, and after confirming that we will come back later, we drove off. We were told that my meds will be ready in about 30 minutes, but it did take longer than that. I can see that they were very busy, and there are not a lot of 24 hour pharmacies around this area, so I completely understand. The customer service was impeccable, though. On the second called, she was informed that my card was missing some numbers that they added to the account but not on the card...who does that? Insurance companies,that's who. One time my medicine ending up being over 150 bucks but AMY at the drive thru gave me discounts and coupons which brought in down to 30 bucks. This pharmacy sucks. They leave you on hold endlessly. And the phone hangs up automatically after 15 minutes. They're constantly telling me there's a problem with my insurance ... I have corporate insurance; trust me, it's not canceled. No one tells you their name when you do talk to them.They promise to call right back, and never do - shocker. I'm sick and can't get my medicine because they can't get their act together. I'm switching to Publix Pharmacy now that it's open ... after I get my medicine - whenever that may be. read more

I took a bistro set that I bought on Amazon to CVS to drop off as a return. There was only one cashier and I was next in line. There was a lady who took about 20 minutes to sort through coupons in front of me. I was pretty patient with that. Later another lady walked up named Carol who was part of the management at CVS. I didn't really know that they didn't have tape at the drop off place for UPS because I don't drop off a lot of things and I don't ship a lot of things. Anytime that I've shipped something, they at least had take there. Carol, the manager was very condescending in her tone when she informed me several times that all they do is take the item I'm supposed to have my own tape and I'm supposed to take the label myself. I could deal with the fact that she informed me of what the procedure was. It was the tone that she used as if I was really getting on her nerves because I didn't know that they didn't have tape and I didn't know that I had to take the label on instead of them doing it. I felt embarrassed and attacked. The good part of it is that I will always remember that everything has to be done already when I get there and that they are only a drop off spot, they don't handle packages. I know this because she made it a point to reiterate it several times with her tone. read more

2.5 stars. I live directly down the street from this 24 hr CVS, 1.19 miles to be precise. My mother is also in close proximity and gets all of her prescriptions filled here. I love that they are open 24 hours and offer drive-thru service on prescriptions. They do NOT boast the least expensive prices for prescriptions, but they haven't been the worst when I've comparison shopped. Their inside store has the usual array of items you'd expect. Sometimes you will find huge deals that can't be beat. They have a photo center here which I've found to be exceedingly expedient with orders (moreso than their pharmacy at times). Outside there is a Redbox where customers can rent/return movies. I love the convenience. Accessibility is a breeze for the disabled. There's several designated handicapped parking spaces in front (which most people respect) that permit easy, direct access into the building. The parking area is really cramped, but this shouldn't be a problem...just an inconvenience that requires mindfulness as you enter and exit the lot. This location does not yet offer beer/wine sales, I believe a license was applied for however. BP across the street can handle that need for you though. They do offer some of the best per-pack cigarette prices in town however. Sometimes there are major clearances, and huge deals can be had (particularly on makeup and food goods) There is access from both Atlanta and Concord roads. Despite very high traffic, I've had no major difficulty. I've only ever had 2 major disappointments from them in the 10 years I've been a patron. 1) how a situation involving a flirtatious clerk was handled (horribly strictly) 2) having the police called on Me and My friend while we sat in the parking lot 15 minutes after having shopped in the store one late night. I don't know what story the employee iterated to the cops, but several descended upon us at once with their GUNS IMMEDIATELY DRAWN! Scary! Even after I showed the cops my RECEIPT along with the item I'd just purchased, they said that 15 minutes sitting there was "too long". This action was completely uncalled for! WTH? Everything else has been satisfactory, and I haven't had any issues in the past few years. read more

I have been using cvs pharmacy (not this branch for years). This CVS location is by far the worst pharmacy I had to deal with. Collected my meds here for 3 months and each month had difficulty. The 3rd month they ordered the wrong meds. My meds are time sensitive so I could not wait for another order. I ended up accepting a 20 day supply from another pharmacy. Then having to pay new doctor and lab fees all over for the next 10 days supply. I needed a month supply. At no point did they take responsibility, all they did was blame the doctor and told me I should submit the order earlier, I had submitted 5 days in advance, because of previous problems with them. The prescription was correct. I will never go back here. Stay away from this branch. read more

There were 3 patients in front of me and the provider got everyone in and out quickly. My wait was only 30 minutes. The provider was very friendly and extremely helpful. I submitted my prescription and was told to pick it up at a certain time. I came by around thirty minutes after and the staff made it clear that they hadn't checked the computer. Therefore, they hadn't seen it. Instead of fixing the problem, they told me "come back in a hour or so." This made no sense. It's a one-item prescription that takes no counting. I could've waited five minutes for it. I came back, and I noticed that my prescription was actually warm to the touch. My prescription needs to be refrigerated. To be fair, I gave them another chance. The next month, I came back to see that again my prescription was sitting out. The "in the fridge" comment on the packaging was comical. Obviously it was warm again. The second time, the guy who checked me out was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He looked like he just got there or was just about to leave and didn't bother getting his name tag or lab coat. I'm certain if I performed this way at my job, I wouldn't have one. read more

CVS has lost my business for good. I hate it because they are so close and convenient but these two scenarios were the last straw for me. First, my 3 month old was sick and coughing. We have humidifiers already in the house but my wife thought another may be needed. I went to the local CVS at 9:30pm and purchased a Vick's model.....for $80! Something didn't feel right with the price so when I got home and looked, I realized that Amazon, Target, etc. ALL had the same model for $35! I took it back to CVS the next day and was willing to keep it if they matched the price. All the staff member said was " yeah, we always have higher prices". I am sorry folks but we are not talking about a $10 difference here. I returned it and was refunded. (Bought one for $35). Second situation happened last night. After a surgical procedure, my wife went to pick up my RX for Norco. ( very basic pain med). The pharmacy was out. The "pharmacy" was out. My wife had to pack up the kids and fill the RX at Kroger. The grocery store pharmacy gave no problems. These days there are just too many options to have to deal with companies that try and take advantage of people. read more
