Hycodan contains hydrocodone - so pharmacies like Walmart, Walgreens and Publix won't even order it. They said its as part of an effort to combat substance abuse / Rx pain pill abuse and its also because pharmacies that order or stock controlled substances / pain medications become targets for thieves and addicts. After DAYS of calling around, I finally discovered that Kroger at Whitlock could order it. (Kroger at Battleridge, closest to me said they couldn't.) Eventually, I asked and discovered that this location could also order it. They're closer than Whitlock AND they have a convenient drive-thru! Decided to give them a try. I'd been getting this filled every 30 days using GoodRx and had no idea that either the drug costs or the GoodRx discount had changed so drastically, so I did some Googling and found another discount savings company called RxGo. (I was previously getting 90 pills for $30, then a few months later, it jumped to $40. Then after about 2 months at that price, all of sudden the discount price was over $100+.) Exterior There has been construction going on at this intersection (Lost Mountain / New Macland at Macland Rd) FOREVER, so exiting the parking lot can be nightmare. But getting in and out of the drive thru for the actual pharmacy is a breeze. Interior Unsure. I've been inside the store dozens of times, but never actually visited the pharmacy. Customer Service So great. The pharmacist / pharmacy manager, Kirsten, did her best to assist me - but ultimately I wound up not filling here. She's actually the reason I wrote this review. Even though, there was nothing she could do - I appreciated the fact that she was patient and empathetic and genuinely seemed as though she tried her best to help. It was beyond frustrating - the folks at Kroger 'corporate' were either deliberately misquoting me - or it may have been due to language barrier issues - but it made the situation super frustrating. I reached out to corporate to see if there was anything they could do to override the system and allow for the posted discount. Price / Value RxGo discount savings site listed Giz's Rx at a much lower price than GoodRx or Singlecare. But when Kroger put the code in, it either wouldn't work - or the discount was considerably lower. The discounted price was showing on their as $53.71 - but when pharmacy tried various codes, the lowest price it would generate was $99.91. RxGo insisted that it was a Kroger issue. Kroger said there was nothing they could do. Overall Overall, I didn't get the result I'd hoped for - wound up using CVS because their price - with discount savings card - is slightly lower, but I appreciated everything Kirsten did to try to help.

I just love this place. It reminds me of the small hometown pharmacies I grew up with. The…read moreemployees are extremely caring and take all the time necessary to make sure you have what you need. They are knowledgeable about the products in the store. Everything is clean and well organized. This is the place to go to if you need any type of medical equipment for mobility or for an injury. I feel like the prices are very fair. You get what you pay for and you not only get quality products here, but great service as well.

This pharmacy is leaps and bounds better than the Walgreens across the street (at least my…read moreexperience so far.) It functions very well and the hours are great. They are open 1-2 hours longer than their competitor and are actually open Sundays. Walgreens was starting to become the bane of my existence, I'm very glad I finally switched. I was essentially forced to because the constricted hours made it to hard to get my pharmacy order from Northside filled. They closed up a little early around a week ago and then tried to tell me the only pharmacy still open in the area was in Cartersville. Apple Maps said that Publix across the street was open for another hour, lol. So I came over and it was filled right away. Now I've been here twice and so far the prescriptions have been filled quickly, I haven't had to wait in a long line, and the workers are actually competent (which is a new experience for me when it comes to pharmacies.) The Publix Atlanta division offices are right down the street so maybe that plays a part in their high performance. Also, it's Publix so you can buy a few groceries while you wait, if there even is a wait. Who wants to spend their time buying overpriced goods at CVS or Walgreens? Nobody. I'm happy to continue coming here.

I had a great experience at this pharmacy, the staff was friendly, helpful, and patient with myself and other customers in the store. Being a small-business type of pharmacy, the prices are very low, but they still have a very large selection of over the counter medicine and other things. In terms of the actual pharmacy department, the filed my prescriptions very quickly even with me being a new customer! I would definitely recommend this pharmacy.
