Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. This particular Publix is located on Semoran Boulevard, also known as 436. It is in the same plaza as the Walmart. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

This is a great quality Publix. Where shopping truly is a pleasure in the neighborhood. I am a regular and flock to the deli side where they make 'pub subs' - the latest vegan additions to their menu are fantastic, I just encourage management or the deli staff to strictly keep a variety of plant-based cheeses, slices, and sauces behind the counter. Kinda odd how many times they express, "Oh, please wait here while I walk to go get that." Honestly I could've brought the ingredients to you as this sounds silly, but every time I order I almost hold up a line which shouldn't be the case. You advertise it, the ingredients should not be a treasure hunt to find. Vegan subs are a more popular thing now, but deli workers are still learning what to even put in it. There's got to be a guideline they follow, even if customers order that less on a busy day than Boar's Head...besides my critique on the sandwich side, their sushi bar is always fresh and Publix in the south is such a blessing. Entire family loves this company and their stores, hospitality, friendly workers and more. Keep the nondairy Publix brand ice creams coming! Y'all are on a roll. read more

Pretty okay Publix. Found almost everything we needed. Most Staff was pleasant except one guy stocking shelves. He did help but seemed bothered by our question. Left my recyclable bags and requested as few plastic bags as possible. The lady (q manager I believe) quickly realized my intent and offered me paper bags without hesitating. FYI: cheese aisle is in the oddest of places but maybe that's something based on a super smar supermarket consultant's recommendation. Live and Love! read more

Located in I find an odd lil plaza split between a Walmart and a bunch of small businesses, considering its neighbors in plaza I expected a less than nice Publix- I was wrong! Looks to be an older Publix and building, but very well maintained! Clean, oversized aisles, full shelves and a more than expected selection! Staff professional and helpful and a quick checkout. Typically, I shop the Baldwin Park location, but this location is about the same distance from where I live. I will be frequenting here more! read more

Worst Publix in the area, specifically the Bakery. No sense of urgency whatsoever. They'd look at you and know that you have been waiting in line for a long time but they just don't care. If you are thinking about stopping by to grab something to eat quick, you could be the second or third person in line and is going to take 30 minutes minimum. read more

My #1 favorite grocery store. VERY clean and organized. Somewhat expensive with some items but their line of groceries alone are worth it. Their brand of ice cream is good and the bakery and seafood section is really fantastic. The deli aisle serves fantastic subs and lunch plates as well. The branches I usually go to are the ones on Hoffner in which the bakery section alone is awesome. The lee vista one is nice as well but somewhat small. I yet have to check out the huge one around curry ford inside the andover lakes shopping plaza. Some of these branches carry deli chinese take out (orange ave area).. I assume the mom and pops version of chinese is better and perhaps cheaper imo. If say I was to leave FL.. I sure will miss PUBLIX. read more

Second to my family, Publix is the thing I missed most about home after a semester away in Los Angeles. California's bright city lights, organic food, and grand variety cannot replace the warm feeling of stepping into my neighborhood Publix. It's been there for as long as I can remember, and for good reason. The customer service is unbeatable, everything is easy to find, the samples are UNF, and the subs... oh words fail me. Plus, its right next to a frozen yogurt, bubble tea, gas station, and oil change station. Basically, the watering hole of suburban Carillon (and surrounding neighborhoods). What can I say about a Publix that has not already been said. This location is newly redecorated. One of the things that I enjoy about a Publix is how clean and bright the stores always are. On this particular trip, we went to the deli and picked up some fried chicken for dinner. I had just picked up my son and daughter-in-law from a brief trip to Puerto Rico. I found the staff here friendly and courteous, as expected. After a short drive home we had our chicken, and some other items we have at the house. As always the Publix deli does not disappoint. Honestly so different than an standard Publix. The employees in the bakery are incredibly rude and unhelpful. They left me standing there for several minutes as they continued their conversation when I just had a simple question to ask. Another lady came beside me and angrily walked away out of frustration because nobody came to help her.. kinda ridiculous if you ask me. 5 bakery associates with two customers waiting at the counter and not a single one had the sense to help the customer first. Not to mention the rude attitude and unhelpfulness once they finally decided to ask what I wanted. read more

Your clean, wide aisles, reasonable prices, and happy employees make me feel like a VIP... which I am. In a city full of sub-par sandwiches, your Pub Subs provide a glimmer of hope. They are the secret to happiness. They are the elixir of joy. The sandwich community owes you a debt of gratitude for creating the best Cuban in town... and no, I'm not talking about Mauricio, I'm talking about sandwiches still. What a grocery store (and the prices) should be! Their fresh fruit section is absolutely fabulous and decently priced. Their bakery also has some great lunch selections. I tried their pizza-focaccia hybrid thingy (some of you probably know what I'm talking about). It was to DIE for! I also found the people that worked there to be overly helpful and polite. Usually I feel like I'm being a pest when I ask for assistance from the staff at Safeway or Albertsons... but here I never felt like that. Makes me with we had this store in California. Since the re-opening a little while ago, this publix has definitely been re-vamped. The atmosphere is always clean and great. The staff is phenomenal. Every time I walk in, someone shouts welcome to publix! Employees down every isle smiling and saying "hello, how are you today?" What Publix doesn't deserve 5 stars? This one. This visit was extremely different from my last review but it's due strictly to the customer service my fiancé and I received. We went to pick up a pub sub. While service to the other customers wasn't the quickest, I wasn't upset until it was our turn. The sandwich artist waved us over with... attitude. Unsure how to describe the body language because she was clearly over her day and over making sandwiches. She was upset we couldn't get closer to her but we couldn't because there was a group of customers getting a sandwich beside us. Not sure if she wanted us to push them or squeeze between them. She proceeded to be short with us about items that we wanted. "Can we get Multigrain bread?" "We out" "can we get roast beef?" "I'm gonna have to cut that" and stares at us, I guess to see if we're going to change our minds. "Uh... yea... can you?" And she begrudgingly walked off, again with attitude to the cutter. At that point I was done. I chased after her and said we don't need anything from her and went to another Publix. read more

Probably the worst Publix in Orlando! Nick in the deli acted like I was interrupted his free time because I wanted to order a sub. He stomped around like a spoiled little boy who didn't get his way. I had to tell him three times what kind of sub I wanted... THREE TIMES! Then he started to put stuff on the sub I didn't even want. Never going back there! read more

I really like this store. It is really big and has a great selection of items. The employees are nice and helpful whenever I have any questions. I love their ethnic aisle which has everything I need for new dishes I want to try. Their produce selection is good and the layout of the store makes it easy to get in and out. read more

It's a Publix, and as such it has everything you come to expect from them. Good selection, clean stores, and above all else, excellent service. The plaza also has a Walmart, and if you ever visit that location, you'll know immediately why the higher prices at Publix are worth it. read more
