I've been to many of the Publix grocery stores in town. This store is by far the best one. I know Publix has a reputation for friendly service, but the team at the Charter Colony Publix goes out of its way to keep its customers happy: helping at the self checkout, ensuring produce and meat/fish are fresh, helping find items on that "scavenger hunt" list from the spouse, and serving deli items to customer satisfaction. The store is always clean and well stocked with management checking frequently. You can always tell if it's a well managed store by how clean the aisles and restrooms look and the attitude of the employees. At this store, the employees are plenty happy! read more

I also stop by Publix in the morning to grab something before work. This morning I stopped by and got a cup of ice, a ginger shot and an energy shot. Well talking on the phone I left the bag with the two shots in it. Called the store Thomas was so sweet and told me I could stop back by and pick them up from the self, no problem. Well when I went in Annie H. at the customer service desk made me feel like I was asking for something free. When she was told to ring them up with no charge from Thomas her attitude kicked in. This is specifically for their sub counter. The customer service is horrible! They are terribly unorganized, painfully slow, and often not stocked. I have never once placed a call ahead order and not only not had it ready on time, they haven't even started on it 15-20 minutes after the pickup time. They routinely take 5+ minutes to make a single sub and forget it if there is more than one person at the counter because they cannot handle it and break down. read more

REVIEW OF DELI ONLY When my family and I go to the beach, we order subs from Publix beforehand. They have never been ready on time and sometimes they haven't even started making the subs when we arrive to pick them up. Today they were out of chicken, but they did not let us know until we arrived. The subs are good, but they may not be ready on time. read more

Love having this tidy little Publix around the corner from home! Every employee we've come in contact with over the past couple of years has been friendly and helpful. On most days, can always find exactly what I'm looking for. Their bakery is pretty good too! I do wish their produce department was larger with more variety, but this store carries all the basics and then some. It's less of an "experience" (like some other stores) but it's great for just getting the shopping done, and getting in and out. Definitely recommend! read more

My doctor may be filing a complaint with the licensing board for the pharmacy. He sends my prescriptions to this pharmacy with refills listed on them. The label consistently gets printed stating "No refills available". He thinks someone internally may be stealing my medications. read more

This Publix is so convenient to my house. They have well stocked shelves and very tidy. They carry my refridgerated dog food(Freshpet)! The sliced cold cut deli is wonderful! read more

This is only a review for the deli-I love their subs, best around in my opinion. Unfortunately today it took 20 minutes just to get one sandwhich. they kept us waiting for ten minutes while they slowly finished what looked like online orders. they didn't have hardly any of the line items prepped and ready so they had to cut the meat i wanted, cut the onions, restock the lettuce and cheese and spinach, which took quite a while. my friend was ordering a vegan sub option and they didn't have any of the ingredients ready, someone had to go out in the store and find the vegan meat option, which she never was able to find. she ended up grabbing a salad from the shelf. The deli workers are very kind, but work at an extremely slow pace. I am hesitant to return if I might have to wait as long next time read more

I've been a fan of Publix, especially their deli so I was happy when one opened near me. They're known for their customer service but something is off at this location. The sandwich-making process at the deli is dysfunctional. Some of their employees work soooooo slowly you'd swear they'd never made a sandwich before. It just feels like there's a "that's not my job" attitude toward getting customers in and out. I've done online sub orders to the deli four times and only once has my order been ready at the time it was promised. My most recent order was 20 minutes late, and they weren't busy at all; the employees were just bickering with each other instead of doing their jobs. Customer service elsewhere in the store is good, but the deli situation turns me off to the whole store. read more

First of all I would not recommend going to this publix especially if your a person of color. I have gotten accused of stealing 4 times and they check my bags and don't find anything, they got mad they didn't find anything so they got mad a kicked me and my friends of COLOR out. This is not the first time me and my friends got kicked out for quote on quote stealing and distracting other costumers. Finally i would never recommend this place if your a person of color or anyone that is a 14-17 year old. BE SAFE read more

I was a fan of Publix in Florida and thought the addition of one store locally (even if the last thing we needed was a grocery) may be a good thing. I spent $68.00 on my visit to Publix and $17.00 of it (do the math) all from the deli was not good. None of it was expired or 'manager's special' items. Just bad. I bought a 4-pack of ham sliders. The cheese was so old it had gotten hard and the ham was folded and slapped on in such a way when the sliders were cut there was no meat on one of the buns. I had to reassemble them and add my own cheese. I purchased some cubed watermelon that looked delicious but was mealy and tasteless. No saving that, it went in the bin. Finally, an $8 turkey cobb salad. It looked fresh but, within one day in the refigerator, it died. Traditionally a cobb salad is served with bleu cheese dressing. This salad had a smattering of bleu cheese crumble but the dressing included was avacado ranch. Also included, surprisingly, was a packet of guacamole. With both of these packets inside the salad container, not much room was left for actual salad. The lettuce had begun to turn brown and had a metallic taste that no amount of dressing could hide. The egg was tasteless as were the tomatoes. It went in the bin as well. I've had much better prepackaged salads from WaWa for less. In conclusion, everything I purchased that was Publix brand was disappointing or just plain bad. Pity. The store is clean and the employees were nice but there are too many stores to choose from. And it's pricey. Expensive doesn't equate to quality read more
