This is a brand new Publix grocery store at Perimeter Marketplace near the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Rd and Meadow Lane Rd in the City of Dunwoody. Currently, there are a lot of available parking spaces in the free parking lot that is shared by nearby businesses that will be opening at Perimeter Marketplace in the near future. However, once those neighboring businesses open, we'll see what happens. Publix is in its standalone building, across the parking lot from the rest of the Perimeter Marketplace businesses. When I walked in through the doors on the right, I first saw the produce area, and then I quickly noticed the big Deli department. The Deli area is square, with employees working in the middle, separated from customers by counters and display cases. Customers are able to walk all the way around the square, which has deli meats and cheeses in a display case on one side; subs, wraps, salads and sushi on another side; hot deli foods on a third side; and a big selection of cheeses in an open refrigerated area on the fourth side. I was impressed, and everything looked so fresh and delicious. The fried chicken smelled so good! Once I left the Deli area, I realized that the produce area was small. Walking through the store, checking things out while shopping, I noticed that, with the exception of the Deli, the store was smaller than most Publix stores that I've been in. Although small, it seemed like inventory throughout the store was packed, making use of all available space. Maybe this is a look into the future with Publix stores that have a smaller footprint. There are hardly any wide open spaces in this store. I used self checkout , and it felt like the stations were a tad too close to each other. Everything still looks clean and new. I noticed that the employees here don't seem to want to interact with customers like most other Publix stores that I've been in, and aren't friendly. I asked an employee about the subs, and he answered my questions, but he just gave me a short answer, and then walked away before I had a chance to ask any other questions. So far, this was a 3.5 stars experience that I rounded up to 4 stars.

I had a full length mink coat there for them to try to sell, but while I was out of town several…read moremonths ago, they notified me that I had to pick my coat up the next day because they were closing shop. I contacted them, but they have not returned my call and I have done so again to the young man who worked there, but either he changed his number or has blocked me. Essentially, I feel that they have stolen my coat because they are intentionally avoiding a discussion about either returning the full length fur that's worth several thousand dollars to me or paying me for it. If you read this and know anything about how I can contact them please let me know, and I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

I had the misfortune of dealing with this evil woman at their booth at Scott's Antique Market. I…read moretried on a gorgeous coat but unfortunately the design accentuated the fact that I have a concave chest from a double mastectomy. She kept telling me "no one else would notice" but my response is that, "i notice". It matters how I feel in my clothing. I have several other furs that fit great but she argued that "all furs have darts" as if I have no idea what my own coats look like. She didn't even offer to have me try on a different t style....She just became combative even after I shared that I have cancer and proceeded to become offensive. When I politely warned her that the was being offensive she literally told me that I hadn't seen offensive yet because she was holding her tongue! I said I was so thankful to see her true colors before letting her have one dime of our good money and proceeded to purchase a perfectly flattering fur coat from another booth! She was so hateful and mean-spirited and has no business insulting potential customers, especially those young mothers with stage iv breast cancer!
