Perimeter Mall is a great go to for one stop shopping. There's everything from Macy's to the Dillards to the small mom and pop stores. There's tons of parking. There's a few parking decks that are available, which are free of charge. There's tons of restaurants and different shops where you can get snack items. This is generally one of the less expensive malls in the Atlanta area so prices aren't super expensive, prices are average. It's also pretty close to a lot of different hotels and it's not a super busy and overly congested area, compared to being in the city of Atlanta. read more

We wanted to go shopping for some clothes for my wife but really didn't want to deal with going to Lenox. Perimeter is in Dunwoody and is a bit more relaxed then Lenox. It has all of the usual suspects: Dillards, Express, Finish line, Gap, H&M, Nordstrom's, White House Black Market, lulu lemon, and more just to name a few, There are places to eat: Maggiano's, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, a whole food court, Shake Shack, and other locations, then there is also a bunch of specialty shops: jewelry, Tumi, Sunglasses Hut, Sephora, Apple and more. This is a well represented mall! No it is not the ridiculous high end of Lenox where it is more about being seen then it is about getting what you need. Nor is it the lower end, almost going out of business, of other malls... it is really a great blend of shops that offer realistic pricing for the mid level high end to the mid level moderate side. There is fashion and convenance in this mall. It is well maintained and fresh. You can spend the day here... get your shop on, find some food to eat, be entertained by some people watching, and in the end have a great selection of places to get what it is you want/need. It would be nice to have a couple of the High End types here like a Neiman Marcus, Armani, Gucci or Louis Vuitton, just to scratch that itch of the truly high end vibe but in the end this mall is a great place to shop! read more

This review is for the Meerkat Meetup at Perimeter Mall. There is currently a meerkat invasion at Perimeter Mall through June 28, 2021. You can't miss them if you walk through the middle of the mall, because they're colorful and definitely stand out. Upon my first rodeo living in Atlanta, I made Perimeter Mall my go-to mall after Lenox became inundated with too many headaches. Upon my return, I see the mall has declined somewhat on the cleanliness, lack of security presence & not enforcing social distance mandates. People are wearing their masks walking into the mall & then taking them off...doesn't make sense. One of the pluses of the mall being centered around other businesses like The Container Store, Ashly Furniture & many restaurants. Additionally, there are some stores like Urban Outfitters & Sephora that have access from the outside. Almost every store you can think of including the Amazon 4-star which is now open, yet no luxury/high-end stores. Being tagged as the second-largest mall in the state, I would think better safety measures would be evident as opposed to the armed robberies over the past six months. I'm starting to travel a little further out towards the Avalon when needed or keep shopping online. read more

Area: free parking is available outside the macy's storefront. It's a large plaza, and also near multiple beer/food options. Ambiance: this mall has 2 levels, both packed with tons of stores. There is a good mix of dept stores (dillards, macy's), clothing stores (express, zara, gap), and leisure stores (lush, bath and body works, the body shop). We really enjoyed seeing all of the christmas decor up, and checking out each store. There was something for everyone! First time going to the Perimeter Mall. First off we could not believe how busy they were, took a little bit to get a parking spot but sun was shining so we didn't mind walking a bit farther to get to the mall. The mall has so much in it and was very clean. Plenty of businesses to shop in so whatever your reason for going selections were plenty. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The food court has so many different kinds of foods and the smell of all the food was amazing, great amount of seating available also! A lot of president day sales going on so great value on ideas definitely could be found. We ordered from Starbucks and was worth the money spent, great value! read more

Perimeter Mall is and always been my favorite shopping mall in the Metro Atlanta area and this is from someone who doesn't really like them all that much. I am more likely to shop at outlet centers. But, every once in a while, a visit to a mall to make a purchase, or, more so to eat, is needed. Perimeter Mall is wonderfully sited, sitting at the noon position on the "clock" that is I-285. And, with major thoroughfares such as Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. and Peachtree-Dunwoody Rd. coming off the freeway, and sort of bounding the mall, accessing it is easy. Also, Georgia 400 intersects with I-285 slightly west of this mall. The mall itself is nicely put together, has circulation that is not too difficult to comprehend, has the standard big department store anchors, in addition to a less common Von Maur, many stores, and decent choices inside the mall to get a snack. But, more so than all this, Perimeter Mall has a dignified air, and I'm not referring to anything uppity, but rather to quality that it has maintained over the years. I have received good service here and, the last time I visited, it was from a woman in one of the department stores who was a transplant from the tri-state New York area and of Italian heritage. (Why does this always happen to me?) You know that it will go well, and that the exchange will neither be phony nor boring. I have never really liked Lenox Mall or Phipps Plaza closer to the crossroads of what is cool in Atlanta, meaning Buckhead. They seemed like "work" to deal with. Also, I have never set foot inside the big shopping center at Cumberland, at I-285 and I-75, and I never liked Gwinnett Mall, even when it was newer and the one probably most popular with the Karen crowd, because it had that go-go vibe of a Gwinnett County that was growing too quickly. Today, Gwinnett Mall is closed. While for different reasons, it reminds me of the shuttered Hawthorne Plaza in the town of the same name, and home of the Beach Boys, that is in Los Angeles's south suburbs. Perimeter Mall might as well be considered the centerpiece of the Perimeter Business District. I don't know, or don't remember, which came first - the mall or some of the attractive and earlier office towers near it. (Some, such as Concourse, obviously arrived later.) It has also given rise to other nicely put together shopping centers in close proximity to it, most of which are open air centers with parking around them. Lastly, not that parking is a problem, MARTA rail also reaches Perimeter Mall, with the big Dunwoody station and parking structure to the west of the mall property. This mall has a great location, a sense that it is a quality operation, nice visual appeal when inside, pleasant vistas in all directions from its exterior, in part because of the effective landscaping and thick stands of pine, and can be accessed in so may ways, including via rapid rail service. read more

Here you can find Dillard's, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, JCPenney, Nike, Apple, Macy's and so much more. The have great dining options such as Breakers, Cheesecake Factory, Maggianos, Shake Shack, and so much more. They also have a Carlo's Bakery Shop in here. This is mall is usually very clean, and organized. There is so much free parking this shouldn't ever be a problem, but I guess it depends because this mall is usually packed. For a well known mall with many luxury and quality store options, the mall management is awful. The air conditioning is poor to nonexistent, leaving us sweating despite leisurely shopping. The bathrooms in both the common area and in the department stores are nasty with toilet paper, no air circulation and generally unclean. It is clear that the mall is skimping on the property and unwilling to pay for quality workers. read more

Perimeter Mall is, perhaps surprisingly, not a Simon property. I say that since Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, both Simon properties, are considered the platinum standard in the state. Perimeter is larger, with four anchors. The Von Mauer occupies the space, though nearly completely remodeled, of the former Macy's and before that, hometown favorite Davison's. I managed there in the day. Macy's moved to the massive former Rich's building, Penny's thankfully gave way to a very upscale Dillard's, far superior to many of their locations. Decent food locations from Chick fil A to 26 Thai Kitchen. I recommend. read more

The whole place is pleasantly clean, smells nice and at a decent temperature. Pretty close to a Marta station which makes it even better and easier to get here. Great for shopping and a food court that is still ok, plus many restaurants in and outside the Mall. Maybe it's too upscale for me, or my lifestyle has changed because I feel that it has lost it's charm. However, I would still recommend it to anyone who likes to buy classy clothes, make up, shoes, accessories. Nice place to walk around and browse. read more

Great mall. Right off of the dunwoody MARTa station and covered all the way to avoid the rain. Many stores both my girls like to shop at, and food court has selections that meet even my picky eaters wants. Surrounding the mall has some great night life places too. I felt very secure as well which some of the other local malls struggle with. read more

Perimeter Mall is nice. It has two floors. Inside is updated and modern--I love when malls keep up with the times. It's bright and clean. The hallways are wide. It appeals to a wide audience with stores like Gap, American Eagle, Champs, and Torrid. It has anchors stores Dillard's, Nordstrom, and Macy's. I love that there's an Apple store here! There's a cute area with a few benches and a fountain which is good to relax in. We came around Christmas so the parking lot was packed and it wasn't fun trying to maneuver down the aisles. They do offer valet parking. The surrounding area seems much less congested than by Lenox Square. Overall, it's a nice mall. read more

My family was visiting for Thanksgiving so we checkout this mall before going to the movies. Of course it was extremely packed for the holidays but it was overwhelming for me. They had your usual mall stores. They also have an Amazon store, but somehow I missed that. We pretty much walked around the 2 levels within an hour and was able to get to the theater across the street in time for the movie. read more

I love the upgrades they've made to Perimeter Mall. It looks like a Baby Lenox now with all the renovations. Due to this, Perimeter Mall is extremely clean. Not much room to be dirty when you've just completed some renovating. The stores in Perimeter Mall are okay. Pretty much the typical stores you'll find at a mall. As far as department stores, there are only Macy's, Nordstrom, Von Maur, & Dillard's. The food court is pretty standard. My favorites are Sarku Japan & Tastee Spoon. The parking lots and parking decks are packed on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday, you're guaranteed to have to wait for parking or end up parking further than you'd want to. Every first Sunday of the month, there is a car show held in the parking lot of Perimeter Mall. People usually get here early for this event, usually before the mall even opens, so keep that in mind if you happen to go during this time. Nice cars! Overall, I respect Perimeter Mall for keeping its hat in the bucket for being amongst the TOP malls in Atlanta. read more

Great mall in Dunwoody. There are plenty of affordable shops and restaurants and the parking lot is huge so its never completely full. The only con is safety. Since the pandemic, safety has gone down hill. There are constant fights and car break-ins. They need more security. read more

Personally, Perimeter Mall is a dying mall, and with mall culture dying out in general, this mall has been going downhill for the past few years. When I was in my teens, I would come here thinking that Perimeter and Lenox were the two superior malls in GA, but now as I come back as an adult, I just feel like the selections have lessened and it's gotten quite run down. A few good things about the mall - they have Zara, which is exclusively available only at Lenox & Perimeter. They also have an Urban Outfitters, which is conveniently located at the entrance/exit of the mall. They have some of the better stores, but I just feel like there isn't much to shop for anymore! There is quite to eat around here however, such as the typical Cheesecake Factory, Shake Shack, or if you like KBBQ -- Breakers. But overall, I just feel like this mall is "OK" now. A little retail therapy is always good for everyone. I stopped by Perimeter to have a little me time. I needed some new clothes and also had to stop at the Apple store for my mom. I love coming to Perimeter it's a lot of cool restaurants around and inside the mall. The ladies at Victoria Secret were soo kind i enjoyed their customer service. The Apple store to my surprise wasn't as busy as I expected. One of the main reasons I come to Perimeter Mall is because they have an Apple store (i just love playing with all the new technology) if your in the Dunwoody area feel free to grab something to eat and to shop till your hearts content. They have a very wide variety of stores and restaurants. I would like to see a larger variety of new artist sites.

I think Perimeter is one of Atlanta's nicer and better malls. It's two levels, has big department stores (Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom), most of the mainstream apparel brands, a nice food court, and several restaurants directly outside, including Goldfish, Maggiano's, Seasons 52, Cheesecake Factory, and Wildfire. If you take away the restaurants outside, it's sort of like another Lenox, though not as upscale. The restaurant selection in and around Perimeter Mall is very "chainy" and there are many places I would go to in Atlanta before dining in this area. However, if you're already at the mall and looking for a place to eat, the nearby restaurants are convenient. I find it harder to walk around inside at Perimeter during peak times when compared to Lenox during similar times. I don't know if it's because more people shop here or if it's because of the way the layout of the mall is designed. Also, traffic can get really backed up directly outside of the mall on Ashford Dunwoody. A lot of times, I turn onto Hammond and enter from the back. There's a multistory parking deck in the back connected to Nordstrom which is where I like to park because it's covered and there are always many available and easy to find parking spots there. Finally, this mall has a Yoforia. Not only that, but one of the better Yoforias in Atlanta, IMO. read more

I've been living in this area for over 2 decades with Perimeter Mall being my local spot for convenient clothing shopping. I've seen several stores come and go and to be honest I stopped visiting the mall because I couldn't find any stores with my particular style and taste in fashion. I'm of Caribbean descent and I really gravitate toward more African patterns and fashion. You can only imagine my excitement when I heard from a coworker of mine that there was an African clothing store opened in Perimeter Mall! It was a dream come true!! I finally had a reason to go back to this mall after giving up on finding anything with my taste for years lol Well, that being said, I visited the mall and couldn't find the store anywhere. I knew my coworker wasn't lying to me, but I started wondering if they had actually closed. She just visited the store a month before telling me about it and she didn't see any sign of it shutting down anytime soon when she stopped by. So why was it so hard for me to find??? Come to find out, the business is incorrectly listed on the Perimeter Mall website AND the store directory. It's an African clothing store, so why did I find out it was actually listed under Jewelry and Watches?? Like, how was I supposed to find that? I'm looking for clothes and it's a clothing store...? -__- Not to mention their hours were super weird (9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 2pm on Saturdays, nothing listed for Sundays). I got their phone number online and called them to verify the information on the Perimeter Mall website and all of their information is COMPLETELY wrong. The store is called The Maasai and they should be listed as a clothing store and come to find out their hours are the same as every other store in the mall, 11am - 8pm Monday - Saturday AND Sundays from 12pm - 7pm. Like, how in the world is it so different on Perimeter's website?? And come to find out, the staff were completely unaware of their info being listed incorrectly online. I finally found the store on the second floor in the corner next to Von Maur and Zales. I know I'm not the only one who has had such a difficult time. I don't understand why it's so hard to have their information listed correctly. There's no way the business will survive like this and it would be tragic to lose such a beautiful, unique boutique because of how their info is being misrepresented online. I'm wondering how many other businesses within the mall are listed incorrectly if this store's hours are entirely off. Wtf Perimeter?? If I could rate Perimeter for this, I'd give them two thumbs down and zero stars for oversight and negligence. It's literally my favorite store in the mall, pretty much the only reason I come back now, and I could've been coming here sooner if it weren't for Perimeter Mall's carelessness. I'm really hoping there aren't other businesses within the mall dealing with the same issue because they're definitely losing customers if that's the case. To my understanding, Perimeter Mall is one of Atlanta's best for all around for both high end and low end shopping. With my limited experience in Atlanta in general, I must say that the bar is set for all future shopping excursions in this city after my visit here. Just from first glance, this mall looks enormous. This also means there are a ton of parking spots, but I gather it would be a traffic nightmare here if there is a huge sale going on in one of the main department stores like the massive Macy's on the west end and a Dillard's on the east. There is also a Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's on the north end as well. Beyond that there are some good stores here for just about anything and more importantly the selection is vast, perfect for the shopper on a mission and an open mind. Not only is Perimeter mall big, its also clean and well maintained. The public men's restrooms are typically atrocious in most malls I've been in but not this one. Everything was clean from the benches to the non-fingerprints on the door handles. Maybe I just came right after a cleaning. The food court also seemed quite nice and semi crowded but thankfully there were enough seats for most folks to sit down. This is a prime people watching area and a great place to sit down for a breather before burning off the food in an effort to get around this massive mall. read more
