Aesthetically speaking, this is one of the best shopping plazas in Atlanta. It's stunning. There's a bridge that connects two parts of the shopping center - it goes over railroad tracks and there's a nice view of the midtown Atlanta skyline; it's a popular spot for photographers, I've seen at least one on everyone visit. In terms of dining, you've hit the jackpot. Some of Atlanta's best restaurants are housed in this plaza. A few are on the pricey side (Abattoir, Bacchanalia, JCT) but they provide a nice range in more affordable dining as well in West Egg and Taqueria Del Sol (etc..). There are also a lot of options for our inner shopaholics, there are several fashion boutiques for men and women as well as several home decor shops, most notably Room & Board. There's ample parking, there are parking garages behind West Egg and next to Yeah! Burger, street parking in front of Room & Board, and Star Provisions/Bacchanalia share a parking lot with a few other of WSPD's restaurants (valet parking is also offered). I also really enjoy the events WSPD have put together, most recently the 'Really Good Strut' fashion show; featuring clothing and hors d'oeurves from their tenants. It was fun, well-organized, and not without some free swag. Always a perk. Overall, this shopping plaza is on the high end side of things (read: fancy schmancy), expect to break the budget a bit - but hey, quality not quantity right?

JCT is amazing..from the mussels in wine sauce to my favorite long island martini..mmhhhh The view of the city is awesome and the vintage railroad that goes threw gives it a touch of county city feel along side there neighbors. Great boutiques surround this little cute corner lot...

Meh. I was hoping to find more cool shops but still fun to wander around. High end chain shops.

The metro mall is similar to a small indoor flea market type of setup, with a small variety of different mom and pop businesses in it, mostly catering to the urban scene downtown. It's never been a "good" area, but these days it's pretty ridiculous. The last time I was there 6 people tried to bum money off of me and one guy swore I fathered his last wives baby (?!?). I've been told by City workers that the Mayor allegedly tells folks to "steer" tourists complete away from this area and more toward the Aquarium/Park area a few blocks away. No city leader has ever seemed to really try to tackle the problem. I guess they figure if they keep places like this the way they are, they attract people who would otherwise venture into those tourist areas and make the City look bad. As someone else said though, the security manager is INCREDIBLE - a no B.S. type of Robocop kind of guy who will kick the ghetto queens and thieves out like a sack of potatoes, even using his stun gun if need be (there are videos online of this - wonderful). We need 1000 more of him throughout downtown, that's all I can say. He deserves a metal. Anyway - not much a "review", but the fact is, there's little reason for everyday people to go to the Metro Mall. It serves a sub-niche of clientele, which imo does not include conventioneers or tourists; you have other options. Unless you like to practice your survival skills.

Parking on the street here is super cheap something like a dollar or something an hour, which is incredible compared to Chicago it almost $15-$26 an hour depending on where you are. It has some of the best shops ever and it also has some great eating options where you want to sit down or you just wanna grab something and walk around as well. There is even a huge courtyard area where you can sit outside and have a laptop. Have a meeting and enjoy your coffee as well. I came here several times during my visit to Atlanta for both meals as well as shopping as well as some service work too I would definitely be coming back here again and look forward to more of the empty spaces being filled up with more stores and more food options

Everyone was friendly and helpful, but there's only ONE WAY to pay for parking in the garage. There's no app, tap to pay, or cash accepted. So if you don't have a physical card with a functioning strip, you're not getting out of the garage! And restaurants only validate for 2 hours even though 0-3hrs costs $5. If you're over by 1 min...(even if traffic is backed up and it takes almost 10 minutes to get to the exit) you have to pay...with a physical card. A huge bummer. The system needs to be updated with multiple ways to pay ‍

Getting to the mall I knew it was going to be crazy as the parking lot was loaded. For a mall that doesn't have that many stores, it was loaded. As always, somehow, I ended up spending money. lol. Manhattan: This store always gets the best of me. The urban street wear selections are always spot on and they usually have a good sale or buy one get one going on. The store is always clean and the clothes are in order by size. Though the store isn't huge, they make great use of space and the size I need is always easy to find. I went in, hit the jean rack as they had some great selections out with various washes and rip patterns so I couldn't pass them up. Found my size. Got in line and was out the door. The staff is always friendly and help to ensure the shopping experience is smooth. CitiTrend: You can't leave Greenbriar without hitting Cititrends. As it was the day before Christmas, the store was super loaded. The clothes were all over the place in the men's section, however, it wasn't horrible. You could tell people had been shopping all day and the staff was doing their best to keep the store in order. It didn't take me too long before I found a few things I wanted. lol. I walked the entire men's section. Grabbed a few sweatshirts and headed to the register. I love the register area as it always has some extra quick pick goodies. While in line, I grabbed a few hair care items I saw and was on my way. The cashier was efficient and super nice. She greeted me, smiled the entire time, and wished me a Merry Christmas as I departed. Overall, though I didn't want to spend any money at Greenbriar, I got some great deals on some great items as a whole.

I went to pick up some prescriptions, but 2 of them weren't ready, so I waited for about 15 minutes or so and came back to the cashier to pick them up. That's when I was told their system was down and they couldn't finish processing my order. Since I use public transit for the handicapped and I had a few minutes before pickup time, I asked the lady at the counter how long it would take for the system to come back on line and she said it would take 15-20 minutes. Since I had the time, I told her I'd like to wait. After 20 additional minutes, an announcement came over the store's PA system saying that all transactions were cash-only since the store's entire system had crashed. Realizing that I had ample cash to pay for my order, I approached the check-out counter and informed the cashier that I had sufficient funds to pay cash, but she still refused to fill my order. When I protested that I was using para-transit services, and I would have to make a second trip, somebody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhh, he doesn't have a car", and everybody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhhhh" all in unison! I have never in all my 70 years been shown such extreme contempt and disrespect for the elderly and disabled such as myself. I have already moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy, and I will never shop at another CVS ever again. I would strongly advise all others to do the same.
