I was shocked that the candied fruit on a stick was $29 for 2 sticks . Wow for fruits so, I had to try at least 1 which was 1/2 the price. There was a live show featuring the traditional ceremonial dragon dance, which was exciting to watch. They even taught the crowd a few Chinese phrases, which made it interactive and fun. Thankfully, the rain cleared up and the weather stayed dry, making it easy to relax and enjoy everything the event had to offer.

They host a lot of different events and expos throughout the year, and check-in is always easy to find and from what I can tell, generally in the same spot. The only minor downside I've run into is when the escalators aren't operating. If you're trying to leave quickly and don't want to fight your way back through the vendor crowds, be prepared for a bit of a trek down the emergency exit stairs and through an empty floor or two. Other than that, the space is clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff does a great job keeping things running smoothly no matter how packed the event is.

Westside Provisions District -- Design, dining & one of Atlanta's coolest little districts…read more Calling Westside Provisions District a "shopping center" doesn't quite do it justice. This little gem off Howell Mill Road feels more like a mini design district mixed with great restaurants, specialty shops and upscale retail. If you love interiors and design, you could easily wander around here for an afternoon. The directory includes Herman Miller, Design Within Reach, Room & Board, The Shade Store, Serena & Lily, Brick + Mortar, East Fork Pottery and Anthropologie, along with fashion and specialty retailers such as Warby Parker, Free People and lululemon. Then there's the food. Little Sparrow is here, along with Marcel, Forza Storico, Taqueria del Sol, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and several other spots. I came for dinner at Little Sparrow, but ended up enjoying the entire district. The aesthetics are fantastic. Old industrial architecture, brick, covered walkways, string lights and thoughtfully designed storefronts give the whole place character. At dusk, it becomes especially beautiful. It feels polished and affluent without turning into a sterile luxury shopping center. My one complaint: the parking. There is plenty of it, but portions of the lot are noticeably sloped. If you park farther down the incline, unloading your car or simply navigating the grade can be awkward. Watch your footing, especially after rain. Otherwise, what a fantastic little Atlanta discovery. Come for dinner, give yourself time to wander through the design stores, do a little shopping and enjoy the atmosphere. Life is too short not to travel well, so get out there and find your next destination on your journey.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, but there's only ONE WAY to pay for parking in the garage. There's no app, tap to pay, or cash accepted. So if you don't have a physical card with a functioning strip, you're not getting out of the garage! And restaurants only validate for 2 hours even though 0-3hrs costs $5. If you're over by 1 min...(even if traffic is backed up and it takes almost 10 minutes to get to the exit) you have to pay...with a physical card. A huge bummer. Getting to the mall I knew it was going to be crazy as the parking lot was loaded. For a mall that doesn't have that many stores, it was loaded. As always, somehow, I ended up spending money. lol. Manhattan: This store always gets the best of me. The urban street wear selections are always spot on and they usually have a good sale or buy one get one going on. The store is always clean and the clothes are in order by size. Though the store isn't huge, they make great use of space and the size I need is always easy to find. I went in, hit the jean rack as they had some great selections out with various washes and rip patterns so I couldn't pass them up. Found my size. Got in line and was out the door. The staff is always friendly and help to ensure the shopping experience is smooth. CitiTrend: You can't leave Greenbriar without hitting Cititrends. As it was the day before Christmas, the store was super loaded. The clothes were all over the place in the men's section, however, it wasn't horrible. You could tell people had been shopping all day and the staff was doing their best to keep the store in order. It didn't take me too long before I found a few things I wanted. lol. I walked the entire men's section. Grabbed a few sweatshirts and headed to the register. I love the register area as it always has some extra quick pick goodies. While in line, I grabbed a few hair care items I saw and was on my way. The cashier was efficient and super nice. She greeted me, smiled the entire time, and wished me a Merry Christmas as I departed. Overall, though I didn't want to spend any money at Greenbriar, I got some great deals on some great items as a whole.
