Very large mall! A variety of attractions and stores, it was easy to get lost in the mix. This would have been the perfect time to have left my wallet at home! Amazing deals were found throughout the mall, prices foe every budget

Greenbriar Mall is a lost cause, that's my opinion. I haven't been to this so call mall in yeeeeaaarrrssss. He'll!! I grew up over and back in the day Greenbriar Mall was the S___! BUT! now it looks like larger version of West End Mall. They barely have any clothing stores left ( Macy's and Burlington) and maybe 2 or 3 decent sneaker stores you can go to. I think what's holding this strip mall together IS Macy's, Burlington and the Food court. The fact that it's a quick spot to go to in a hurry when need be. Other than that......they need to bulldoze that place down and start all over again. Like back in the day when there where plenty of retail shops, a theater, shoe stores and good eateries inside. Overall Greenbriar Mall needs a over hall. I hate to see it go and not be revitalized into something spectacular for the community.

Although Greenbriar Mall does not offer some of the more expensive stores, that you would find in the Perimeter or Lenox area, it still offers some cool options for families in the Atlanta area. The area is a little "hood" but the employees are typically professional and courteous. They have great deals on toys, cute pajama sets, and clothing, in one of the value department stores in the mall. The nail salon and barber shop in this mall do a better job than most "richer" malls in the Metro Atlanta area, without charging you an arm and a leg. The deluxe pedicure feels amazing with the hot towels. There are booths and stores that cater to the black community, in ways that you may not find in the larger malls. For instance, if you are in a D9 fraternity or sorority, you can find "nalia" in this mall. You can also find art that caters to African Americans. They also have added some of the popular shoe and clothing stores to help cater to the sneaker heads. You can find Lids, all the common shoe stores, and basic women boutiques. The Burlington coat factory in Greenbriar Mall is well stocked, on the few times that I frequented this year. I visited with my family two days before Christmas, and I was able to rack up on clothes and shoes for my 2 year old. Also, for the second year in a row, we were able to take pictures with Santa. Although the line was long (2 days before Christmas), everyone was respectful and the customer service was great from the employees that were working the photo booth. Our photos came out amazing (see one pictured below). Overall, I would return for some shopping, a full set, or to take my pictures with Santa. Don't let the location scare you away, just lock your car and come on in.

As a sneaker fanatic, I would argue that it consistently has better shoe selections than any other mall in the metro Atlanta area.

Warehouses have been repurposed into retail, dining, offices, studios, and more. I'd call it mixed-use, but I don't believe there are technically any residences on The Beacon property. It's all commercial. There are, however, new condominiums located just across the street (Pratt Stacks by The Providence Group). Curbed described this place as "the adaptive-reuse district." In general, like any new development, The Beacon is nice. It's clean and modern with attractive storefronts and patios, good landscaping, sidewalks, and benches. There's free parking too. During peak times, the lots can get crowded, but it's not a problem because there's plenty of free parking on the neighborhood streets. What sets The Beacon apart from other developments in metro Atlanta is its tenants aren't cookie-cutter. Most of the businesses here, as far as I can tell, are local. No chains. The development fits in with the neighborhood. Trendy, eclectic, colorful, vibrant. The buildings, paint, artwork, murals, lights, and The Beacon's "B" tower all look cool and beautiful. I'm not exactly sure when The Beacon officially opened, but the project was first announced in 2016 and businesses were open by 2018. My first visit was in January 2019 for a Yelp event at Pin & Proper: https://www.yelp.com/biz/yee-the-yelpies-2018-pin-and-proper-atlanta. Pin & Proper is a bar that has a unique game called pinfall, a combination of bowling, cornhole, and football. It's fun. I met the owners, Lauren and Chaise Hughes, and they were really friendly and welcoming. I made subsequent visits to The Beacon in 2020 and 2021 for restaurants Hotto Hotto Ramen & Teppanyaki (https://www.yelp.com/biz/hotto-hotto-ramen-and-teppanyaki-atlanta) and Buteco (https://www.yelp.com/biz/buteco-atlanta) as well as for the Grant Park Farmers Market (https://www.yelp.com/biz/grant-park-farmers-market-atlanta). Hotto Hotto has a really large and inviting space with a neat indoor-outdoor bar. Buteco is a small bar and cafe that has a hip patio, live music, and a food truck that serves outstanding Brazilian street food. The renowned Grant Park Farmers Market, which has been around since 2011, currently operates every Sunday, 9am to 1pm, across Grant Street from The Beacon.

I decided it wasn't the look I imagined in my head while in the store when I purchased them. So I'll was next in line, walked upto return/exchange counter & I pulled out my phone to pull up my ROSS receipt saved on my Fetch App & the lady at the return counter...oddly told me she could not app looking at my receipt on the app as Ross has a "new" policy and they will only accept returns if you have a live printed receipt. I informed her that I had never had any issues in the past ever as that's where I now keep my receipts instead of a bunch of paper piling up. I was so irritated & this was such a waste of my time & efforts...that this was the start of a bad day gone wrong. Anywho... Today is Tuesday & sad I had to email the receipt to myself, printed the receipt out & made a darn 2nd attempt to return these items and this time...she let me slide and advised that "I'm going to do it as a courtesy THIS TIME but, moving forward keep your receipt." This lady went on & on about this is their new policy, keep your receipt for Ross as this will not be accepted next time. I felt like this lady little kid or something but, she was actually accepting my return I just let her talk. I have a new outlook on this store location with ROSS staff reprimanding me talking about "this is an outlet or discounted store so, X,y,z..... The whole time I'm looking at her like last...this is a part of shopping. I have the right to purchase, decided it's not the look I images and return items. I was like lady...hush up, I do not have time to hear your mouth. She was hellAH rude on my 1st attempt & today ALMOST was not better with me having to hear this lady reprimand me over returning items. I hope Customer Service Rep- POLICE....was not a Manager/Supervisor cause, she was out of line for her tone & mouthy mean delivery. SMH I have often patronize this store but, they just lost a customer today! So unprofessional.

This was my second time coming to Ross and exchanging the items because I bought the wrong size for my brothers whom aren't from GA. I was seen DEMEKA by the second time I had to return and not only did I see her avoid someone in the return line, making me to believe the same would be done to me. I proceeded to stand in the purchase line, after her telling me I could've stood in the return line. However, that isn't what prompted me to leave this review. Today I came in to return the sweaters for LAST time because though we tried them on in store over our clothes the items still didn't work out. ALSO, the return/ exchange cashier, DEMEKA TOOK SEVERAL CUSTOMERS BEFORE ME (the ONLY person in the return line), then I had to run back to the car to get my ID. When I came back she had another person waiting in the return line while she took a purchase with a basket full of clothes, while we waited 4 people accumulated in the line behind me. DEALING with younger boys I wasn't even able to get my items refunded back to my account, because they threw away the receipt and one brother popped the tag. So now I have store credit to a store that NEVER HAS THE FITTING ROOM OPEN!!!! I am disgusted by the lack of communication, because I called you all to check about the return! A THE MANAGER DESIREE COULD DO IS OFFER AND APOLOGY, IN REGARDS TO BEING SHORT STAFFED AND NOT HAVING THE FITTING ROOM OPEN. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION, I suggest you all do the same. Please hire more seasonal staff, there a folks who would love the opportunity since Christmas is vastly approaching!
