Town Brookhaven is a large mixed-use development that opened in Brookhaven, between Buckhead and Buford Highway, circa 2010. You can think of it as Brookhaven's version of Atlantic Station or Avalon. It's got shops, restaurants, bars, a grocery store (Publix), department store (Marshalls), movie theater (CineBistro), and homes. It's a self-contained community inside the perimeter (ITP). I've been to Town Brookhaven several times over the years to visit businesses like Bua (Thai and sushi), Newk's Eatery, Noche (tapas, now closed), the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, and Yogurtland. I've had a friend who lived at the Windsor at Brookhaven (apartments). These days, I mainly visit Town Brookhaven to go to Costco (opened October 28, 2010). At the time of writing this review, Town Brookhaven's Costco is one of only two Costco warehouses located in Atlanta ITP. The Costco at Cumberland Mall is practically located on the perimeter. Both have gas stations and are good places to fill up due to relatively cheap prices for Top Tier fuel. In general, I think this development is fine. The property is clean. It's huge at 600,000 square feet. The design is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The buildings look modern. There are wide sidewalks, airy patios, nice landscaping, stately brick roads, and traffic circles. There's deck parking and surface level parking. This is a popular place with lots of tenants so parking may be hard to come by during peak periods. Ultimately, I've never had an issue finding parking here. Outside of perhaps Costco, I'm not sure Town Brookhaven has any shops, restaurants, or other businesses that really set it apart from other shopping centers, malls, or mixed-use developments or make it a real destination in metro Atlanta. However, if you live or work in the neighborhood or surrounding area, it's certainly nice to have all these amenities close by. read more

I've been coming to Town Brookhaven since it first opened while I was in college. The shops are nice and its very walkable so its great for getting steps in. Recently, Cinebistro closed so I hope they replace it with another movie theater because that was a great draw to this area. read more

I've become quite a fan of this this place. One of my quotas for a good shopping center is if it has everything I need/want in one place and Town Brookhaven does. It's due in most part to the Publix and Costco, but there's several boutiques for my inner fashionista, a movie theater (Cinebistro), AT&T, and of course tons of options for my inner foodie. I like the price range variety it offers as well with it's restaurants, you can go cheap with Moe's or Which Wich, or a little more upscale with Baci or Noche and there's a variety of choices in between (Boneheads, BUA, etc). The flow of traffic can be a little confusing, they need a few more stop signs in certain areas - in my opinion, but I really like that there's lots of free street parking available as well as parking lots for their larger tenants. read more

The Town of Brookhaven is very nice! It's fairly new with restaurants, shops (grocery stores, etc) and the gym (La Fitness). There a parking garage which is easy access. A fan of this place and would return to do more shopping here. read more

Town Brookhaven is a great shopping center because there's a little of everything inside it: grocery store, bulk grocery store, restaurants featuring different cuisines, pampering (nails and waxing), a running store, and shopping. It's a great place to park once and walk around to get stuff done or spend time with friends/family. My major complaint is the parking. There's "street" parking in front of each shop, but they get filled up quickly and you end up circling the place to find a park. Or park under Publix and walk, that's always another option. The main drag in is awful, too. There's a 4-way stop that no one treats as such and therefore it's always a cluster. Each directional lane (in or out) has two lanes in it: one for people turning left and another for people who then right, and they operate independently of one another. I've gotten stuck in the middle too many times waiting for people to actually honor the stop sign before going straight towards Cinebistro; rude! I try to come in the "back way" off Hermance by LA Fitness whenever I can, but that can be bad too because the gym patrons don't always looks where they're going. Insider scoop: go early or during a weeknight to avoid the parking nonsense. That's what I do if I'm going to anything along the main drag or to Costco. If the weather is nice, then good luck. Most cars drive crazy and the pedestrians don't always look both ways before crossing the street! read more

LOVE Town Brookhaven!!! I often refer to central shops as being in the Brookhaven Promenade? Maybe I made it up. Awesome shops, good eats, nice restaurants, a few bars, Publix and Cinebistro (for all your cinema fixes). Current favorites remain: Shucks-new oyster bar, kinda pricey but offer half off oysters on half shell from 5:30-6:30 daily. Nice. Treza-delicious pizza, huge healthy and tasty salads for that once a month craving of green food. Moes-it's Moes. Old Blind Dog Pub-the best bar food ever. Try out a seasonal brew and munch on Short Rib Quesadillas. The belly will thank you! Costco-giant size food, score. LA Fitness-to work off all the food you ate around the corner Nail Salon next to DressUp (also a fan) is huge. Like two stories of mani pedi awesomeness. What's not to love? Parking. Parking is stupid. But there is a parking deck no one uses below Publix because then they'd have to walk a bit to get where they're going, God forbid read more

I love Town Brookhaven! They are adding more shops and restaurants all of the time. They have a great variety of boutique shops and chain stores and restaurants at this center. This Marshall's is one of the better Marshall's stores in Atlanta. I also love the GNC and the manager at the GNC is professional and very kind heated. This center caters to a middle to higher-end shopping experience so you'll typically receive stellar customer service at all of the restaurants and stores. Town Brookhaven also holds events throughout the year. They have several 5K's that go through the center as well as Movie nights in the summer months and special shopping days. read more

They've got pretty much everything here. It's like a humbler version of Atlantic Station... much humbler. But still very nice. I come here to go grocery shopping, eat, work out, see a movie... you can do a lot here without spending too much. If you live in Brookhaven you must come here, you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you live in Buckhead, its close enough to enjoy and a lot less expensive than the nearby stores. Not as much opportunity for clothes shopping as you might hope for, Marshalls is the best they've got. Besides that, you can have a good time here once in a while. read more

What's not to like with so many dinner options available are you in the mood for Irish, Mexican, Seafood or Thai these are a just a few of the offerings. Then you can take in a movie, work out or get your nails and/or toes done. If you are looking for something pretty or need new workout clothes there are a couple of boutiques and even a Marshalls. In the need for real estate - Apartments are available and if you are looking to purchase hey you can do that too with Keller Williams. Publix is available for everyday things and so is Costco if you are looking to stockpile eggs, juice or toilet paper lol. Prices here are not for everyone on the day to day but if you want convenience and options without being downtown and without the traffic this just might work for you. read more

I lived in the 1105 apartmetns and would recommend this for anyone who want to live near a vibrant community. we picked this place because it is within walking distance to Costco, publix, LA fitness, and more than 30 shops and restaurants in Town Brookhaven. There is a nice resident club there as well. Have to walk 5 mins to get package from the office. They don't delivery to your door. read more

You can't stop progress. Brookhaven has changed a LOT over the last decade+ that I've been in Atlanta. Town Brookhaven and the shops on Dresden are a huge reason for these changes. A few years ago Brookhaven incorporated and became it's very own city. It's kind of like Baby Buckhead now. You can tell it's moving in that direction. With progress comes pros and cons. A few of the pros: It's a more vibrant place with more people and places to do thiings. The nightlife has also improved with the growth of the city. And with a growing population comes more revenue for infrastructure and construction, which have made many areas of Brookhaven more attractive. Some of the cons: TRAFFIC. The streets are full of stupid people. A decade ago, navigation through Brookhaven was a breeze. No longer is that the case. Especially the stretch of Peachtree that runs through the middle of town. And Johnson Ferry/Ashford Dunwoody is a nightmare at times. It also seems like every 5 minutes there's an emergency or traffic accident, complete with fire trucks and ambulances blaring their horns for right of way. I think the police force outnumber the civilians now, since Brookhaven incorporated and got it's own police force. Most people would consider this a "pro". I put it as a "con" because it seems like their only function is handing out traffic tickets to generate revenue for the city. With all that being said, I like Town Brookhaven. It's a great little spot filled with shops and restaurants. And it's only 5 minutes from my home. read more
