My wife and I enjoyed a lovely sit down dinner at Lenox Mall and came back to find a boot on the car. If they *truly* want to make the parking situation clearer (and not profit off congested roads and overflowing parking lots), then they need to redesign the parking lot signs to be clearer and more obvious. Signs stating that exiting the parking lot are not obvious and were overlooked by my family when we parked there and went to the nearby mall. We came back to discover that our car was booted, and on top of that, we had to pay a fine of $75. So expensive! We discovered that many others were in the same situation as us, all because the rules were unclear. Fix this issue by making the signs larger or bolder. Also, after reading the unnoticed sign, it said to not exit the "Shops Around Lenox" area if parked there. How are visitors like us supposed to be aware of the difference between that and Lenox Square? Change the wording to be more explanatory. But I get the feeling that some people are profiting a lot off of this confusion. My family does not plan on ever going to "Shops Around Lenox". read more

Shops Around Lenox is a small shopping center that contains mostly retail stores, with a few food/beverage businesses also included. It is separate from and just west of the much bigger and more popular Lenox Square. Parking is actually at a premium here because there are lots of stores but not enough parking spaces for everyone at all times every day. Parking is free, but everyone needs to seriously heed the signs in the parking lot that let you know that parking is only for Shops Around Lenox customers. Your vehicle WILL get booted if you park there and, at any time during your shopping spree, leave the Shops Around Lenox area, even if it's for a few minutes. Shops Around Lenox is not for people who are looking for only bargains. Most of the retail stores are pricey, and, although the stores periodically have sales, nothing's cheap here. Definitely no discount stores can be found here. Another thing about this shopping center is that most stores don't last very long here. I know of only 9 stores and restaurants that have been in Shops Around Lenox longer than 5 years. Stores have either gone out of business or moved to a different location. Some of my favorite places that I've shopped our eaten at and are currently still open are Crate and Barrel, Dantanna's and Flower Child. Other popular stores are Lululemon, Suit Supply, Roots Juices and Impeccable Pig, and the popular restaurant Seven Lamps. read more

I was pleasantly surprised while visiting the Shops Around Lenox yesterday evening. I will admit I expected most things to be priced out of my comfort zone, but I managed to snag a few deals. First, I stopped into Tecovas to check out their leather goods. A small business from San Antonio, TX, these fellows specialize in fine leather western- style boots, wallets & other small accessories. The employees were all very knowledgable about the history & products. Very friendly & welcoming as well. I purchased a wallet for my co-workers upcoming birthday & I feel confident he will enjoy it. Check out Tecovas for that rugged, outdoorsy gentleman in your life- you wont be disappointed. I also stepped into Sev Laser Hair Removal & made an appointment for January 2022. The ladies there were sooo sweet & helpful. The prices seem very reasonable; I have never had this procedure done before so I cant compare but $80 for a full Brazilian treatment sounds great. Same point as the others regarding the boot when shopping at both "Shops Around Lenox" and "Lenox Mall". No job ID was entered on the sticker they placed on my car and the attendant placed it back in his pocket. One guy stood in front of the license plate for the truck they were hanging out at the whole time I was there. I honestly don't know if this is a genuine service at this place or I was subject to a scam. Today I am ordering something online from Tecovas rather than go back to the store located in "Shops Around Lenox". Having shopped (e.g., furniture, casual clothes, a suit) and dined there many times I don't plan to ever go back. For $75 they cost their stores/restaurants, and those at the mall proper, more. I wonder if that contributes to the heavy turnover of the stores in this strip mall? I would also be curious to know if the owners have actually done the math to conclude that the parking penalties+revolving leases is more profitable than straightforward service? They could, for example, hire someone to stop people and warn them before they cross the street to the mall like a true parking lot attendant but it appears they chose the other way. Shops Around Lenox has a lot to offer- from cold pressed juices and food to activewear or formal clothing and even a laser hair removal spa. Everything in the area is a bit pricey. The clothing stores Fab'rik and South Moon Under have trendy clothing and are good places to go to if you're looking for WOW pieces for any event or gathering. I walked in to Fab'rik with no intentions of purchasing anything and walked out with a bag in hand. Flower Child is a good place to grab some lunch or dinner, especially if you want some healthy, nutrient dense options. There are several reviews from previous patrons that have been booted when shopping in the area because they left the Shops Around Lenox and went to Lenox Square Mall. I have been to the Shops Around Lenox several times and never had any parking problems. Be sure to move your car if you're leaving the area. Parking is scarce for the shops so they take it seriously if you leave your car at all. read more

I came here for an event with participating retailers and restaurants. The plaza was one I had no idea existed as it is some around the back or side of Lenox Mall. I think it is a very nice little plaza. When I arrived early to get a feel of the area, the place was already packed with shoppers and diners enjoying themselves. This center is full of quality brand named clothing so don't expect outlet prices. The parking seemed very packed which didn't bother me since I get chauffeured around these days, lol! I've visited the Blo Bar, Kendra Scott, Bhojanic, and a few other spots. Bhojanic had great food and didn't disappoint. I would like to try Seven Lamps. Other reviewers are correct. If you park your car here - it will get booted. Even if you shop at the stores here and have a receipt - your car will get booted. The booting company (EPS) workers just stand around the parking lot waiting for you to leave your car. $75 to free it. There were 4 "workers/technicians" standing around this small parking lot waiting for people to park and walk away. So.... Save yourself $75. Go the main mall or other stores. I'm a native of Atlanta, and it is still funny to me that people will park in this location and then walk over to Lenox Square and act like they are shocked that their car has a boot on it. There are at least 3 signs in the parking lot that say, do not leave your car in this lot. I've never seen the people that are rumored to hide in the parking lot to watch you park and leave, but I will say that I've seen people with that why is the boot on my car look more than a handful of times. Yes, Lenox Square parking is a nightmare, but this shopping area is no better, it can get crowded too. At this time there is a Sprint Store, Crate & Barrel , a furniture store, a Yoga store and a couple of shoe stores along with several other shops in this shopping center. This is one of the sleaziest shopping centers that you could possibly choose for shopping. They have guards posted in various areas of the parking lot for the sole purpose of booting your vehicle. If for example you choose to have a bite at Dantanna's which is one of their restaurants, and then go accross the street to Lennox Square, they will observe you walking from the lot and boot your car. Unlike Lennox Square, they do not have either the fortitude nor the apparent resources to warn you or to guide you to appropriate parking places. Unfortunately this little strip center chooses to gutlessly sneak to your car, with a boot placed under their jacket and hide behind other cars in order to boot unsuspecting customers. I will no longer patronize *any* of the merchants of this center. I don't respond well to gutless thugs. I was with Friends at Dantanna's. One of the "guards" booted my car. Upon leaving the restaurant and finding the boot on my front wheel. I called the police. I then went back into the restaurant and advised the management that their parking lot guards were booting their customer's cars. Next, I went to the guards hiding near one of the stores at the back of the lot. I advised them that I was a customer at Dantanna's, and that I had called the police. Further, if they did not remove the boot from my car, I would have them arrested for unlawfully detainment. The guards refused to remove the boot, and asked me to leave the lot. After the police arrived, I showed my receipt from Dantanna's to the police. I asked that the guards be placed under arrest for unlawfully detaining me. The officer and the guards talked and after about 2 minutes, the officer told me that he had advised them to remove the boot. The guards removed it, and unapologetically returned to their post, intimidating and robbing other customers of the center. If the operators of the center want to ethically stop people from parking in their lot and crossing the street to Lennox Mall, they should approach those seen parking in a way that offends them and notify the persons that thier car will be booted if they leave it there. Sneaking around and gutlessly hiding until people leave, then booting the car and extorting them for $75.00 is a shameful way to conduct business. read more

You will get booted, they will charge you $75 and won't even talk to you about anything else but paying or info until you have paid it. They claim not to have any control or info on who does and all disputes go back to the same company scamming. Property manager must be in the know. Have your receipt from a store in hand, they don't care. It's too bad because I really love Flower Child and the people in there were great, but it isn't worth the scam and hassle. I went back in and told the cashier about the parking lot scam too so they could hopefully warn patrons or tell management. Doubt it. Disputing charges, took pictures for my lawyer and looking into unlawful seizure. Last night, I enjoyed a great evening at Shops Around Lenox. I love going to Shops because it allows you to get out of the hustle and bustle of being inside the mall and enjoy walking from shop to shop. Parking was easy and close to all the shops and restaurants I visited. I started the evening with a delicious dinner and drinks at Seven Lamps. I had two specialty cocktails and a plethora of small plates including Oysters, the cheese plate and Mussels. My favorite dish was the Gnocchi - if you are in the area, go and try! My favorite boutique was Bevello for shopping. The prices were fantastic and the sales team were super helpful! read more

We are from out of state and had lunch at Cheesecake Factory. Intended on shopping at Draper James, Paper Source, West Elm and a few other shops until we discovered a boot on our vehicle and at least 20 other vehicles. Had to pay $75 to get it removed. HUGE SCAM! They try to trap you. Said they have cameras to wait to watch you cross the street and then boot your vehicle! They pointed to a sign 6 spots down on a pole facing the other direction. The top of the sign says "shops around Lenox" which to someone not from the area would include all SHOPS AROUND LENOX. When we questioned their practices, the man said "I'm just trying to pay rent". SCAM SCAM SCAM Alert! Parking Shake Down!!! I fly in from LA to Atlanta and want to do some Christmas shopping with my son. Go to Lenox, drive around 10 minutes looking for a parking spot. Finally found one and went shopping in the Shops Around Lenox and the main Neiman Marcus side too. Came back and had the orange sticker on my window and rear wheel booted and locked and the shake down began! $75 if I wanted to get out of the lot. A woman who appears to be living out of a beat up SUV with a couple of huge dogs inside along with a plastic badge security fool stalk you, watch you and as you walk away from your car they lock it up!!! Terrible!! The mall should be embarrassed and ashamed of how this is handled!!! As I paid my ransom I felt I needed to tell others and I saved at least one other family of Christmas shoppers of the sane fate. Do not shop at this location. Skip any and all of these stores. If you park here, shop here, and leave the parking lot for any reason, they immediately rush to boot you. The property mgmt firm has Empire Parking watching all activity, and they will boot your car even if you are shopping at one of the shops like West Elm. WOW is all I can say (but I'll say more for context). Today, Shops around Lenox decided to boot cars who parked and walked over to Lenox Mall. Without a warning or notification they stalked you, watched you, and then booted. They even knew how long I was in the mall. What they didn't know is I was killing time and had a lunch date at Flower Child. I'm disgusted. I was meeting a friend for a later lunch after she attended church so I decided to go shopping for 2 hours before and wanted my car to be near where I was leaving thinking this was smarter since it's RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. Well, I'm sad to say I will never shop or eat at any of these stores now due to principle of this boot company. You should validate that I wasn't a customer of Shops Around Lenox or at least a warning first. Or how about you notify the public you are enforcing this. SHOPPER BEWARE! Your vehicle will be booted if you venture away from the strip center. 1st trip to this center. As it was rainy and almost dark decided to park in the middle of lot and run across side street while still light out to Macy's to pick up a sheet set 1st before returning to walk the center and eat at Dantanna's. Walked right past two guys leaning over the trunk of an adjacent car going thru some papers as we left. Came back 45 minutes later, threw our package into the trunk and started toward Crate and Barrel when I saw a boot on our front wheel and the same two guys leaning on the trunk of another car across the way. As soon as I said "What the Hell ! We've been booted!" These two walk over to say we can't park here and cross the street. I said "How am I supposed to know that?' He pointed to small signs on light posts facing cars parked on the aisle behind us. There are no large signs, A-Frames etc. stating this at the entrance. Cost is $75 to remove the boot. Up walks this creepy guy and says the sign reads for Shops Around Lenox parking only. I told him I didn't realize that Lenox Mall was not considered shops around Lenox. He was very rude and it cost me $75 to have the boot removed. Also they had booted 4 or 5 other cars.
