We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

HOLY YUM ALERT??????…read more I visited the wonderful state of Georgia this past weekend for a convention. Upon arrival, I walked past this location on the way to my stay, and knew I would need to try it. Naturally, we went the next day. Lord am I happy we did!!!!! With a group of ~8 it was always easy to find a table, or put a couple together outside. The staff were kind, asked for stickers from us (which we did indeed have) and the food was DELICIOUS. We liked it so much we came back. I had the pesto cavatappi and it was so good I ordered it both times. Their menu has so many options for all sorts of dietary choices, and the meal deal they had was PERFECT. All my friends enjoyed the food, and the service was amazing both times. Our second visit was right before our departure, so we had all our luggage with us. Even then, they let us make space outside and continued to check in. Mauricio was so so kind, and my friends immediately told me to write his name down to mention it in my review. I will be back next year and you bet I'll be getting my pesto fill. #BLESSUP #ILOVEATL #FURRIESAREPAWSOME

I ordered a large lemonade, where they gave me a cup that was more of a small/medium size. When I asked about the larger cup (because I ordered a large), they told me they couldn't give me that size. And then for some reason they were running behind on orders (which I usually understand, but I ordered a fountain drink) and it took 30 minutes to receive my lemonade. And when I asked for a refill, they told me that was a separate charge. I actually did speak to the franchise owner, who was very nice and offered me something to return, however I never received it. I actually followed back up saying I never received the coupons about a month later, to which they replied they forgot to mail them.

The space is very big and there is a more formal seating area and a casual cafe space depending on your mood that day :) Service was fast and the food was delicious. The pastries looked amazing at the counter but we resisted them this time ( although I'm still regretting this decision) . This was a great start to our Atlanta weekend!

I was about 15 minutes late trying to figure out where to park, and even though they were busy, they were kind enough to still seat me. I had the pesto chicken sandwich and mimosas. The sandwich was good, but I've definitely had better. I couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing--maybe the temperature or just something in the ingredients--but I'd probably order something different next time. I did want a Bellini, but apparently that was a tall order lol. With all the pages of wine options, somehow a simple Bellini was out of reach! Overall, a solid 4/5. Nice atmosphere, good service, and I'd give it another try with a different dish.

I especially love their Tunisian Tuna Salad. It's a Mediterranean-style tuna salad with olives, capers, herbs, and olive oil, and it's one of my favorite things from Alon's. My only disappointment with the Phipps location is that they don't always have it available. When they do, it's typically already prepackaged rather than being served fresh from the prepared foods counter. The bakery and pastry selection is always tempting, though, and there's usually something worth grabbing when you want a little dessert while shopping. Overall, it's a convenient stop inside Phipps with consistently good baked goods and plenty of choices. I just wish my favorite tuna salad were more consistently available at this location.

High-quality ingredients and simple, well-executed sandwiches really define this place. There's…read moresomething incredibly comforting about food like this--classic, familiar, and made with care. The homemade sides follow that same theme: simple dishes done very well, the kind of comfort food that feels nostalgic and reminds you of meals you've had at home. At the same time, that simplicity can cut both ways. Since the ingredients and preparations are fairly straightforward, it does feel like the kind of food you could recreate at home without too much trouble. Because of that, it may not be somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit frequently. That said, it's still a great spot overall, and I'd definitely stop in from time to time when I'm in the mood for something comforting and well made.

There are basically 3 separate lines - one for sandwiches, another for pastries/cakes and to pay. We were greeted once it was our turn for the sandwich line. I opted for the egg and cheese on gluten free bread. My hubby got a chicken sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The egg is definitely not fresh, and made from a carton, so it was okay. We watched as our sandwiches were getting made and were ready within 5 minutes. We then proceeded to the check out line where we can place drink orders. I got a decaf latte with almond milk (but the cashier didn't hear me say almond milk so ended up getting whole milk and my tummy was not happy about it afterwards). The decaf latte was decent and I enjoyed it for the most part. We were able to enjoy our breakfast outside!

The owner (I'm not sure if it's specifically female-owned vs family-owned) was so hospitable in tempering my disappointment (I was visiting the area). I instead went for a croissant breakfast sandwich (also a backup option as they offer this with the biscuit dough) and it was delicious. Not over-weighted on the croissant bread, it was just right. The next day, my colleague ordered ahead and got a box so I got to taste a variety of scronuts. It tasted like a slightly crispier coffee cake. While my colleague thought it was too sweet (she sugars her coffee), I had a black decaf with mine and it was just right. Our other coworkers also dug in and there wasn't any left over.
