Came here specifically for a pubsub and was sorely disappointed after waiting 20 minutes in line that they were only taking online orders. Plus that the online order queue was gonna be another 30-45 minutes. I do wish the staff would have said something instead of having us stand there and stare at them. The deli department is disgusting in cleanliness and customer service. The older gentleman who runs the fryer refuses to cook fresh chicken when there is none let alone other items when the grab and go is empty and the fix a plate station. I have watched the management do nothing while the lines pile up and workers wave off customers as to not bother them. The food is over priced for being old and made at lunch time and being sold at dinner. The food has been completely cold. I am a frequent shopper even though their food and groceries are over priced. I will no longer be giving my money to this location. They are definitely about the people or the food. read more

Let's get to the honest truth about this place! 1. The food. Fresh. Sushi is okay. Subs are great. Baked goods fantastic. Fruits when in season also great. What are you looking for?? They should have it. 2. The service is 5/5 on a good day. They do have a high turnover of staff, so if one person doesn't know, I would recommend asking another. The ones who have been around are really kind. The cashiers are ace. The bakery staff, if you can find one, also great. The meat staff and fish staff are sometimes shady... on a bad day. 3. The ambiance is small but clean and well laid out. This store is smaller than most, but if they have what you need and it's nearby it's great. You're there for what you need, right? Amble parking, near Target and Dicks. So overall, realistically, it's a good publix. Don't let the small stuff get to you. read more

This supermarket is small compared to other Publix. Its size is probably due to the fact that it is made inside a parking garage with other stores. Parking is very convenient and you can shop other places as well. I was able to find all the essentials here including a wide selection of alcohol and prepared foods. The chips are way too expensive here. That may just be inflation. I came here for Halloween candy and canned fruit. Found both very quickly. I will return when in the area and I need something quick. read more

The cashiers are the only saving grace to this Publix. The other departments completely suck god forbid you want to get something they try to make it feel like you're inconveniencing them. I went there tonight the young lady working the deli said she didn't cut meat and walked off and wouldn't even at least get someone else who could do it for us. A bit disappeared that they take all the soups and hot food around 8:30pm when they closed at 11pm. Sometimes it's hard to make it in before 8:30pm, been to several other Publix grocery stores and never have to work about not getting a soup later on in the night. Selection wise on the amount of raw chicken wings is always lacking no matter what time I come making it very inconvenient when I live walking distance from this one. read more

Advertise they have a mask policy but they don't enforce it. Had a situation where I had to ask the manager on duty to address with two customers. She refused. Escalated to store manager Kieth Tait, who politely explained because they are City of Atlanta, they couldn't do anything. Traders Joe's does not seem to have this issue. I think the difference is corporate culture. One is about community and willing to go the extra mile despite local ordinance, the other is theater that just wants to keep the cash a flowing. read more

Despite being my go to Publix due to it's location, it's not my favorite by any means. The problem mainly revolves around food freshness at this location. - Bought organic milk that expires in several weeks according to the box, only to get home and realize it's spoiled. - Avocados are almost always a guaranteed miss here. No matter how they feel to touch, almost always rotten once you cut them apart. If not rotten, spoiled. - Garlic, same story as avocados. Usually rotten once you actually peel it. - Organic section is terrible, things are mostly spoiled or about to be right in the supermarket Overall, I really like Publix and hate giving it a bad review, but this location really need to improve. Service is always great, so they have that down. Staff is very very nice and goes over the top. This is with exception of the deli and cooked food counter, there it's a mess and they never have things replenished. One more thing, the fruit they sell here don't even smell or taste like fruit for the most part. Very bland. No comparison to something you'd get at dekalb farmers market where fruits are bursting with flavor, or even in comparison to many other Publix locations. Worst part about all this is that you don't find out until you get home. I usually feel too lazy to and try to get a refund for garlic that cost me a buck or less. read more

This Publix feels a little smaller than an average one but has everything you need. This is a very busy location as there is an LA Fitness on the top of the parking garage and it seems like cars are constantly coming in and out. The have a very nice wine selection here and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can actually find wine pretty much all over this location and a funny fact is they keep the expensive champagne behind the customer service counter on the wall. read more

Whenever I'm in need of utensils or just basic necessities I know I can rely on Publix to help me get my shopping done. Not only are they HUGE stores, they also carry a lot of items and sometimes there are things I can only find here. The Publix card also makes it easier for me to shop and save as well! This is probably one of the shabbier Publix supermarkets I've ever visited. No self-checkout. very small, tiny deli, everything seemed too small, crammed together, and sort of unkempt. Their sub's weren't good. Tuna tasted old and weird. Like really weird. But, the woman who filled my order honored my request that she wear gloves, so that was nice. My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Conference Center on a recent visit to Atlanta GA and were pleasantly surprised to discover a Publix near our hotel as we both are familiar with and enjoy the deli sandwiches offered at most Publix locations. We ordered sandwiches from the deli 3 out of the 5 days of our stay in the area!! We especially liked the cleanliness of this location and the huge aisle-long, awesome wine selection offered here!! The day before, we ordered a bottle of prosecco from our hotel bar for $32. We were delighted to discover the same bottle sold at Publix for only $12.85!! Of course, we picked up a few extra bottles to take home. The staff was really nice and friendly! We especially enjoyed meeting Charles who worked in the deli department. He happily made our sandwiches with care and took pride in his work. He also informed us about the online ordering option which we took advantage of the next day. The online ordering process was quick and easy and I did it from my iPhone. Our sandwiches were waiting in the bin by the time I walked over from the hotel!! Thanks for the recommendation and your professionalism Charles!! He also was helpful and knowledgeable when we asked him questions about the deli/store hours of service. I hope the manager sees this review and recognizes Charles for his outstanding customer service. read more

Rather than writing out a review in paragraph form, Publix is best summed up in a series of bullet points! -convenience and friendly employees mean a lot to me- I'll pay more for them- at Publix, they take the extra second to recognize you and speak kindly -the Publix brand items are good quality and often better than some name brand products - Publix Premium Ice Cream is TO DIE FOR- often the half-gallons are on sale for $3.50- I'd make a trip just for their ice cream (try their seasonal flavors!!!) -Their produce is often fresh and abundant -COUPONS! Yes, Publix is pricier than competitors, but if you take advantage of their weekly coupons, Buy-one-get-one free deals, and the fact that they will the discount of any consumer coupon you bring in, Publix is comparable, if not cheaper than Kroger. -Their stock of "ethnic" foods is very limited -Demos! Every evening around dinner time, they do cooking demos, complete with tastings, recipes, and all the ingredients readily on hand. -The store is always clean and well maintained, but they are always stocking during the busy after-work shopping rush... WHY can't they stock early in the morning or later in the evening when the already small aisles aren't crawling with people shopping on their way home?? read more

I like Publix as grocery store, but this branch is the worst Publix I've been to because of the significantly limited selection. I often have a hard time finding everything I need from my grocery list here. Some examples: sweet potatoes, plantains, turmeric spice. Located in Lenox Marketplace, this is convenient to my work. Though Subway is in this same area, I decided that I wanted to try something new out. Publix will create subs to order that you can pick up in the store. On their deli site, you can order meats, cheeses, subs, flatbreads, platters, and boxed meals. You choose the type and size and then you go to a new page to customize your order. You can select your bread (white, whole wheat, or Italian 5 grain), cheese, and toppings. You choose to have it pressed, toasted, or neither. A medium drink and chips will cost you $1.50 extra. Drink and 8 oz. soup will cost you $2.50. You can then schedule the time of your pickup. Can even be a different day. Lenox Marketplace is a big shopping center, but Publix is very visible and easy to find. I was able to get into the store quickly. But I was very confused about what I was supposed to do when I found my sandwich. I asked someone and found that you can pay for order at any register. Note: you cannot pay online. That would be a good improvement. The sub was decent. Not something that I would crave though. I appreciate the convenience of ordering online. read more

Let me preface by saying that I've usually had great customer service experiences at various Publix delis and I looove the food it produces - the cold cuts, the subs, the meal deals, the chicken..all super tasty and budget friendly. But this is my least favorite deli location. In fact, after my previous three visits, I will drive the extra few miles to go to a different store. As other reviewers have mentioned their sandwich counter is super slow, and they're always "out" of items. But I've been there several times when there has been no line, and we'll be standing there waiting while the deli staff clean or wander off into the back. My past two visits the deli clerks actually debated who would come help us. This happened twice. TWICE! I could come here for groceries, the rest of the store seems to have it together...but if you visit the deli - good luck! read more

Let me first say that I love Publix. I appreciate a grocery store that is well lit, clean, and spacious. I grew up on Kroger and Bruno's back in the day but once Publix entered my life I was hooked. I don't recall the last time I entered a Kroger other than the La Fitness that now inhabits the same space... So with all that being said... a small cloud of sadness hangs over me. In close proximity to my home (within walking distance) is the Lenox Marketplace. I love the idea that I have a Target, Staples, Dick's and Publix all right there in one covered parking garage. Publix however has fallen a bit short on my standards of places where "shopping is a pleasure" Small, narrow, and random! I swear I can't find anything in this store. Usually products are on the same aisle as other similar products. Not so much at this particular location. I have yet to find a rhyme or reason to the infrastructure at this supermarket. I swear I could get some pasta, cake, and deodorant all on the same aisle. I'm gonna start looking for my chicken by the watermelon! The staff tends to be unavailable, and once they are there, not eager to assist. I just don't feel like I receive the same treatment at this store as I do at others. Publix, you rock! Nothing any other store could do will get me to change, but this place in the Lenox Market is not one of your better performances. I love the convenience but find myself constantly confused and meandering through your store looking for products that elsewhere would be quite accessible. There's little you can do with the space alloted... let's all learn from our mistakes and make your next store a little more spacious and organized. read more

So, I decided to deviate from my usual grocery store and try Publix. My experience left much to be desired. The service at this location was a little slow, almost as if the employees were distracted, even when they were preparing your order (in the deli area). When I got to the register, it turns out they had not put a barcode on my to-go plate. Apparently, the cashier can't ring it up manually, so I had to go back and wait at the deli counter to get the sticker. I've never had this happen anywhere else. There didn't seem to be enough people, or enough motivated people, to keep the line moving during the lunch period, even though it wasn't that long of a line. There just seemed to be a general feeling of lethargy in the air. I'm definitely going to stick with Kroger from now on, where the employees seem to be much more attentive and focused. read more

Not much into writing reviews for supermarkets but here is mine..... First of let me say that this location is only blocks from our penthouse in Buckhead and is our primary go to store, when we do not make it to Super H or Dekalb Farmers Market. This store is always clean, the people that work there are always super friendly and helpful and the check out lines are always short (this place actually opens more lines when there are people waiting! A refreshing change from most retail outlets that don't care how many people are waiting and only have 1 or 2 registers open) They routinely pull us out of another line (when we have more than 10 items) to go through the express check out when no one is waiting. The produce is ALWAYS fresh! Produce stock is depleted when weather or some other factor prevents regular shipments. They do not stock substandard items just to put items on the shelf. The line at the deli is usually long for several reasons. One....they have great items and two, there is a strong support of local people that shop here. The rotisserie chicken meal deal is phenomenal at $11 (or so). Only recently after I made numerous suggestions to store management do they put the meal deal bags out in front of the deli (before you had to wait in line and ask a person for the bag.) Overall, Publix is not the cheapest supermarket in the state, but they are the most convenient, friendly and stock the items that you need to get right now. If you want fresh fish heads this is not the place but Publix never marketed themselves as the goto seafood provider in Buckhead. My apologies go out to other Yelpers that do not have the consistent experiences that I have had at this store.for the last 5 years. read more

This Publix is right in my neighborhood so it is incredibly convenient. However, I am constantly disappointed in the produce! On many occasions I purchase fruits or veggies and get home to see they have mold on a spot I didn't catch or mold the next day. Also, the deli line and sandwich lines can have horrific waits even on off hours. This Publix is best for paper goods, drinks and frozen items. The store clerks are always friendly and helpful so they definitely help make the experience better. I really hope they get better produce! read more

This is my happy place. I love coming to Publix, usually daily, and seeing what I can get for the day. Even if its a pack of gum, I enjoy just walking through the aisles and seeing if there is anything else I may be craving. This location is smaller than usual, but the staff is friendly and the place is clean for the most part. They have a nice wine selection and a decent beer one, but for the most part you can find 95% percent of what you are looking for here. read more

Meh. Worst Publix ever. I used to shop here all the time when I worked at Lenox mall and stopped shopping here as soon as I quit working at Lenox. I now go to the location on Cheshire Bridge and only stop by this Publix if I'm in the area and am in desperate need of something. The main reason I do not like this Publix is that have a serious refrigeration issue in their produce department. The strawberries are ALWAYS moldy. I stopped in here last Friday after not shopping here for a few years and picked up some strawberries because they were on sale. I thought that I thoroughly inspected the package but when I got up to the front to check out I noticed one of the packages had mold in it all over the berries in the center. Annoyed - I handed the package to the cashier, who happened to be the manager and I said these strawberries are moldy. Her response "So you don't want them?" Ok people, a little bit of common sense - wtf would I want with moldy ass strawberries? I responded with a simple "No" but was thinking a whole lot more. I should've told her to take back the other package of berries too because when I got home and consumed them they were rank. When I bought moldy strawberries here on accident a few years before I returned them and spoke to the produce manager who said they knew about the problem and were working to resolve it. Years later the problem still isn't resolve. I won't be buying produce from this location anymore since they clearly can't get their ish together. On top of that it is very frustrating to shop in this small format store. The aisles are narrow as hell and people are always in each others way. I feel like I don't have time to stop and read labels because I am in someone's way. The aisles are barely big enough for someone to pass you on the other side of the aisle. Plus I just don't do well with the overall Buckhead uppitiness. Oh yeah, there was also a table with a bum outside that was asking for money. Nice. read more

This Publix is smaller and consequently offers less selections of everything. It's also a high traffic area, so the pickings can get even slimmer. It fulfills its purpose but doesn't make for the greatest shopping experience. Nonetheless, I felt the service is still very good. I needed 3 ribeye steaks. The steaks only came in two. I was willing to purchase another pair of steaks but the last one was snatched up. I asked the young gentleman in the meat station and if it's possible for him to get me another ribeye steak with about the same thickness. He graciously did it for me. Yay! read more

This Publix is slipping. As I stated in my previous review; entering, exiting and parking in this garage can be quite the pain in the neck. But also today, it was dirty. Publix is never dirty. The bathrooms were particularly disgusting. I also took notice that everything in this store is more expensive than every other Publix I've been to. And I go to Publix a lot. Rumor has it that 30326 is the wealthiest zip code in Atlanta, so maybe that has something to do with the inflated prices. Just drive a mile North (Publix @ Town Brookhaven) or South (Publix @ The Peach) on Peachtree and you will discover a much better Publix than this one. read more

Great Publix with the friendliest staff. Had a rain delay at the Peachtree Road Race today and this location is near the start line. The workers were all very gracious and opened up the store for restrooms and gave out trash bags for ponchos and ziploc bags to protect our phones. Even a couple workers helped cut holes in bags to make the ponchos! Speedy cashiers to keep the crowds flowing..... All before 8am! Excellent customer service and they really should win an award for being so kind to the runners. I'll def be back to return the favor. read more
