I visited this Publix yesterday, and it lived up to its great reputation. As expected, the store was clean, well organized, and fully stocked. The only thing that stood out to me was that the two managers (two white gentlemen) near the entrance didn't acknowledge or greet customers as I walked in, which is unusual for Publix. However, the rest of my experience more than made up for it. I want to give a special shout-out to Precious in the deli. She was handling a very busy rush by herself, helping multiple customers, answering questions, and keeping everything moving with a smile. When it was my turn, she took the time to help me decide between different sides, gave her honest recommendations, and never made me feel rushed. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service really stood out. The cashier who checked me out and the gentleman who bagged my groceries were also friendly and professional. I mean it's a grocery store. They have most of what you need but they don't always have everything. Unfortunately you have to be careful to review prices at checkout because they aren't always right anymore. You used to be able to count on Publix being the only store where prices were correct but I guess times have changed. The one saving grace is that if you do catch an incorrect price, they are usually willing to fix it. So I'd say overall the service is ok. The atmosphere is definitely better than Kroger and Walmart in our area but generally just acceptable. The quality of the products is ok but that quality is outweighed by the high prices and by incorrect prices at checkout. I wish I could say I loved this store but unfortunately I only come here because it's the closest bearable option in my neighborhood. If you come here, you'll most likely find what you need and the quality will be pretty ok, but I really wish they would check their prices more carefully and stop raising them so sky high. read more

First time here during lunch and it's a 40+ minute wait for a deli sub. The waiting wouldn't be a problem if they were actually working but they kept stopping running their mouths. In contrast, I just left a Publix in Pigeon Forge, TN and with the same amount of people waiting, they were much quicker in service delivery and with very few disruptions while attending to customers. While I love the freshness of Publix's subs, the poor deli service oftentimes irks me as a customer, especially when there are 4 employees making subs and their as slow as molasses in January. This isn't the Publix standards I'm used to and this needs to be addressed. read more

Placed an online order around 4:50pm for pickup at 5:30pm, paid ahead of time. Arrived but salad not ready so knowing that typically around this time is busier, I did some shopping and came back, which defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead, but i get it. Went back for my salad at 6:05 PM and still it was not ready. It took me another 20 minutes to get someone to help me. Finally someone told me they hadn't cut the chicken for my salad and should've called me. Confused at this point because isn't it possible to slice the chicken need it now on the other side? 48 minutes later of waiting and asking to speak to the manager I finally went to customer service. The manager was physically standing there and told the person who was trying to remotely help me that she was done with her shift and she was leaving not knowing I was standing right there worst customer service ever and unapologetic. The manager at the service desk was apologetic, but she could tell how frustrated I was at that point that I had spent over an hour near the sub in deli section where there were seven people working. read more

The store itself isn't bad, it's some of the associates that work in the store. Yesterday I got in line and started to unload my cart and the young girl turns off the light and walks away. I ask the bagger if she was coming back, he shrugged his shoulders and said, I don't know. I loaded my cart back and went another line and 30 seconds later she reappeared. I totally think it was racial, I'm white, she was black. I've always shopped at Publix in Savannah, I think I'll just start going to the one in Tyrone where I'm wanted as a customer. I forgot to mention, don't ever try to get a sub here, I've waited 45 mins only to walk off and go somewhere else for one. If you're handicap, forget getting a handicap spot, way to many entitled young people think they need to park closer. read more

March 10, 2024 I frequent this Publix for a lack of closer options. I'm in line and approaching the conveyor belt. The young lady at the register is talking to the bagger about what time they get off. She changes the register tape and then turns completely to him and they start talking again about what time they get off. I say, "Hello?" She turns around and gives me a look and lies to my face saying she has to fix the register tape (with her back turned to the customer talking). It's register tape. You change it, code back in the system and you are ready to go. Then she turns to the bag boy and says, "He's rude". He smirks, and then she starts playing how slow can I ring items in and bag them even slower. It really tripped me out because there is a line of people, she turns her back on customers to talk to another employee about their exiting times, I remind her we are standing there, she lies to me, then slows down the line to be childish and calls me rude. What exactly is the training protocol here? I don't want anyone to lose their job. Maybe retraining would be good for Kyra. Yes, I made it a point to remember the name. I have used the online sandwich ordering option on many occasions at various locations. I did it twice at the Princeton lakes location and both times my experience was awful. The people in the deli do not care to make the sandwiches edible nor do they actually look at the sandwich that was requested. I paid EXTRA for Avocado slices and I did not receive them. I also DID NOT ask for vinegar on my turkey sandwich which made it soggy and strange. I did not ask for old veggies. I got old pickles, lettuce and tomato on my sandwich. it was NASTY! no one comes to Publix for a nasty sandwich. This is the closest publix to my job, but I am going to have to go to the Sandtown location since this one is consistently sub-par. I think Corporate needs to do some secret shopping on this location because they are the worst Publix in the area and they do not operate to the same standards of their other locations. read more

Still my neighborhood Publix. I've recently started having my blood pressure prescription filled here for free. However, if I go to the Walgreen's or Target pharmacies that are part of the Camp Creek Marketplace, Im required to pay a co-pay for the same blood pressure medicines with my insurance. They fill prescriptions quickly. Most recently, I went to the doctor for my physical and by the time I'd gotten back home the automated dialer was calling me to tell me the prescription was ready. The bakery has gotten much better about last minute cake orders over the years. A couple of months ago, I placed an order after 7pm on a Saturday for a cake I need before 6pm the following Sunday night and there was no problem with placing the order of picking up the cake. The problem I had was while requesting the cake frosting toppings etc, I requested extra strawberries on the cake and were told they were priced at $1.50 per strawberry. Bringing the cost of 8 strawberries up to $10 at a time when they had fresh strawberries pints on sale at 2/$5. Made no sense for the bakery to do that sort of up-charge and makes even less sense for me to pay for it. I've given on up the produce section and mostly buy watermelon bowls when the are BOGO, oranges and bananas This location has a pretty good juice, smoothie, organic juices section. They have most of the basics and sometimes some brands Im not familiar with. There's always a line, but I mostly know thats due to this area of town being overly built in both homes and commercial business Most of all, Publix employees are by far the friendliest of all the grocery store chains and this location shines along with the rest of them. read more

I think it's strange how when u got to customer service counter here...different employees give u different info. SMH I get monthly money order here every month & for the past 8 months I had been getting 1 money order for my rent however, the last 2 months they had been telling me they have a limit and will have to print up 2 money orders & charge me twice for my request. And actually 1 lady must didn't know how to count because she printed up 3 money orders & I was charged 3x. Ok so it's been like 4x I come in to get $1's for Saturdays and tonight I was told I can't withdraw $ from my credit card w/out purchasing something. Ok this I've never been asked to do. I drove from Ellenwood to the Princeton Lake Publix pharmacy. Why? Because they answered the phone and were amazingly kind patient and professional while trying to find a location that had my meds in stock. I was extremely impressed with their customer service over the phone. It was even better in person. Everything in the deli looks Amazing But the service is Absolutely a mess in the deli. 7 workers in the front and they are moving slower than molasses. I always give great reviews as well as benefit of doubt, however these ladies are Rude and inconsiderate. Customers were waiting for 20 minutes while waiting for the grill to clear. Common sense would say to move forward with the other cold sandwiches. I had to get a manager involved before anything began to progress. The Deli manager should be aware of her bar as well as the Random conversations occurring while disgruntled customers are waiting. I only visit this location for the sub-sandwiches . Every-time i visit it's always one person making sandwiches. The wait time varies from 20-40 mins. Um.....yeah So I mostly shop at Publix because everything tends to be fresher. I remember when I first moved to the southside and was trying to feel my way thru grocery stores so I thought that the only Publix stores that existed were this one and the one on Cascade. Everything I did was on Cascade and Camp Creek...until I went to Kroger on Cascade and got grapes that went bad a day later. Everyone knows (say that in a Phaedra voice) that the Camp Creek Marketplace stays swamped with people. It used to be times of day you could go up there and not get caught in traffic. That doesn't exist anymore. It's like all of Atlanta discovered this area at one time. Now on to Publix...it's an okay store but it's not ever up to Publix standards to me. I stopped going there because the guy who was the manager about 3 years ago was very hood-rat-ish....like I caught him in a shouting match with one of his employees and throwing a hissy fit. Luckily Publix rotates their managers around. I went to this store more recently only because a friend went there. But, this one on Camp creek is below average. I've made several attempts to get lunch from here and EVERY SINGLE VISIT was a fail one way or another. I like Publix. They've really done great with all of their buy one get one items placed right in front as you enter, but there is the act of entering that you need to do. You see, traffic here is horrible and if you get a parking spot, regardless of the location of the spot, you're pretty lucky. I do love their deli for sandwiches, but like any publix, don't visit the deli around lunch time or dinner time. Noon and 7pm are definitely going to be slow going, but the food is often worth the wait. No hot/salad bar here, like other locations, but there are still plenty of the publix staples you're used to, from quality groceries to good customer service. Came her to pick up a birthday cake for two co-workers. Wound up with a buggy full of stuff bcause Publix is always good at putting high end items in Buy 1 Get 1 Free. The good thing is you don't have to purchase two and still get the good deal. I loveeeee this store. Everyone is friendly. Always have samples of food. When you move to an area where there aren't any Publix all of them become five star stores. Hahaha. We went straight for the PubSubs because, priorities. So many things I missed about this chain but I'll keep it simple. BoGo done right. Produce arranged perfectly every time. All the sale signs on just about everything make my heart smile. Every time I come to the deli section, there's a problem! Either the trucks haven't delivered produce (even though the produce section is completely supplied), the online order hasn't been fulfilled, deli condiments aren't available (I mean NOTHING), or there isn't enough staff. Publix is one of my favorite places to shop besides Whole Foods farmers market and Trader Joe's! The produce is fresh and the vegetarian selection is amazing!! The bakery is great as well! I love the sales they have on my vegetarian products. I have only been to the deli once for a veggie sub and it was great..the cook was nice and friendly. Customer service is exceptional and professional! Sadly the two problems that I have with this location is that it needs to be a bit larger to accommodate the heavy flow of patrons. Which is good for business but not so much for the good caring patient customers. Who have to deal with the undignified and ill-mannered people inside the store and the insolent speed demons in the parking lot, who try to race through the walking path of the store and nearly run over people! I have seen literally 3 people almost get hit from some psychopaths on wheels. The undesirables (those who don't care for humanity)need to stay away from the good hearted and kind people who care about our community and try to support South Fulton and keep it a thriving place to shop and live! Due to the pandemic markings on the floor made it a little difficult in figuring out what lane is for what line. Most things were fully stocked and like the other review, the produce was on point. The pharmacy at this Publix location is the absolute SLOWEST pharmacy in the city! The wait time is completely and utterly ridiculous! This is NOT the pharmacy to come to if you are very sick or have a very sick child that needs medication immediately! Every time I've come here the wait time is at the minimum 2 hours, but usually longer. I switched to this pharmacy when I moved. The last Publix pharmacy I used would take at the most 30-45 minutes to fill a prescription. I'm a Publix fan because no matter which one you go to, you can expect quality meats, fruit, and veggies. Also, it will be clean and well lit and the company does a good job training the employees in the area of customer service. This has been my experience. This Publix is always, always so busy man. GGGGaaahhhhh Leeeeeeee! I can never park close and there is a never ending line in front of the sub station (but I understand...they're the truth). I'm glad they have Aprons available and the recipes, which I love. Also, I love their coupon program because they don't mind taking off multiple coupons for the same product (restrictions apply). I could go on and on about how delicious Publix's fried chicken is and anything from their bakery, but don't you already know that?
