Unfortunately, the property manager I spoke with was impatient and dismissive throughout the conversation, repeatedly saying "oh my God" in a way that felt disrespectful. The call lasted less than 10 minutes, yet I was made to feel like my questions were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, I was quoted a higher price for the same size unit than what was advertised on the website, and I was told that no written or formal confirmation of the total price was available. Because of the poor customer service and lack of transparency, I decided not to move forward. If this is the experience at the inquiry stage, it's hard to feel confident trusting this facility with my belongings.

Beacon St in Brighton) only had one. I didn't even know this was an option until I clicked on "locate nearby" and Watertown Self Storage popped up. Not only did they have what I needed (and picked up 30 minutes later) but to avoid the craziness at the N. Beacon St location is a relief. Watertown Self Storage is clean, organized and new; U-Haul is old, dirty and a hot mess. The 9 foot cargo van is also available for pick up here (and can be picked up during off hours!!!) and I have a tentative reservation for that later this month as well. Before I even called EZ Storage, they called me, saying they needed to refund me and asking where should they send the check. The guys at front desk are courteous and reasonable. The storage was always well lit, a good temperature, with plenty of carts, and several different options from 5x5 to 5x10 to 10x10. Auto access is easy, drive-in, drive-out. Good hours. Only reason the rating isn't five stars was they were a little trigger happy about putting an extra lock on the cube if the rent was a little shy. This would happen whenever the rates were hiked and the automatic payment hadn't been adjusted yet. A warning sticker would have been nice. But the guys at front desk were pleasant about getting it off... as soon as payment was made.

Drive through bay for your car and truck makes you feel super safe even if you're a female going to and front the unit alone (most storage facilities are terrifying). The bay is also clutch for moving trucks especially if a rain storm or blizzard hits on moving day (we had one of each). It's well lit and bright. Units are all super clean as is the rest of the facility. It's well staffed and Leo is wonderful. Climate control will keep your precious belongings safe even in frigid Boston winters or humid summers. We tell everyone we know about ezstorage. I had just resigned to the fact that all storage units are terrible, sketchy places often with homeless people living in them if you're anywhere near Boston, oh and they'll rip you off too and raise your rates or never stop billing you. Kenny, the manager, is one of the kindest and most patient customer service representatives I have ever encountered. Kenny showed me several units, answered all my questions, and even helped me think about which unit is best suited for me instead of just going with the higher priced unit. You can tell that he really cares about his customers rather than other storage companies who just want to make a buck. He even stayed an hour after closing time to show me more storage units because I couldn't make up my mind. I didn't even get this type of service at Chanel! The storage units are well kept, clean, and well ventilated. The prices are just as great as their customer service. If you're thinking of renting anywhere else - don't. I couldn't stop raving about this place to all my friends. Corporate, if you're reading this, you seriously need to give Kenny a raise. I've never met anyone more dedicated to his job. I had an extremely frightening experience with a Gallo Moving truck this morning on Route 138 in…read moreCanton. I was driving in the right-hand lane, preparing to get onto the I-95 ramp, when a Gallo Moving truck came off the highway and began moving directly into my lane while my vehicle was already there. Instead of slowing down or yielding, the driver continued coming over and literally forced me out of my lane. The truck came within about ONE INCH of my passenger-side mirror. I had nowhere to go and ended up stuck between the two lanes, basically creating a third lane. Cars traveling in the left lane actually had to stop because I was being pushed into their lane. This could have caused a very serious accident. There were three men in the Gallo truck, and I could not see a license plate on the vehicle. What is most upsetting is that this was not simply someone making a minor driving mistake. The driver continued to move into my lane even though my vehicle was right beside the truck. When you are driving a large commercial moving truck with your company's name on it, you have a responsibility to operate that vehicle safely. I am sharing this because people should be aware of my experience. The reckless driving I witnessed this morning put me and several other motorists in a very dangerous situation. Thankfully, the drivers around me reacted quickly enough to avoid an accident. I hope Gallo Moving takes this seriously, identifies the driver and truck involved, and addresses this before someone gets seriously hurt.

My unit door has been urinated on recently - nice smell in the area in the hall. Rodent activity in my unit - mice turds on my storage boxes. Gross. Unhealthy. There are better, cheaper places. Too bad because it was a convenient place.
