This place has no employees working there and it's almost impossible to get some one there to help you when the kiosk and on line site don't work. I just went around in circles for days before I found out what the issue was. The links they were sending me to fill out the payment info were crap. To be honest since there isn't employees there to fix things like the elevator lights, front door key pad and only one cart, our rent should be alot lower. I think eventually when I can ill find another place that is better to deal with. read more

Do not choose this place! They have changed to a self-service location and there will not be anyone there to assist you like they have had in the past. We used to keep a key in the office for convenience so that several of our employees could access the unit. I went to get the key and access the unit a couple of weeks ago and discovered the office is no longer staffed. No notice was given of this change so it was quite a surprise. I spent over an hour on the phone standing outside the facility trying to locate the facility manager to come let me in. After multiple calls to "Live Customer Service" (which is not, and gets re-routed to a different Public Storage location) and leaving several messages, I just gave up. Another customer was there trying to do the same with no luck either. No one ever responded to my voice messages. We will be moving as soon as we possibly can. Even if this hadn't happened, we were considering leaving anyway, the climate control is very hot in the summer, it's kind of dirty and dark, sometimes there are scary people hanging about, and the elevator is sometimes out of order. Everything was as expected. I came in on moving day and they had a hand cart to help move the larger items in, my lock, and the elevator was spacious enough for what I needed. Only thing I can think of that was inconvenient is that you need to access from 60 or northbound on Mill because a U turn can be tricky. read more

A bit disappointed with this location. I have leased at Public Storage locations all throughout the country over the years and I don't feel that this location lives up to their standards. I had not been to the unit in the summertime yet and I immediately noticed that the air conditioning is making it very damp in the unit at the temperature was rather warm and musty in there. In addition I had a couple of items that I needed to throw in the trash and the management would not let me put it in the dumpster. They say you have to haul it away. I've never met a storage company that didn't provide trash. I also rent at Extra Space around the corner and they provide a jumbo dumpster for customer use. I have been here six months and they have already raised my rent once. All in all, I know this location was converted to a Public Storage and I just don't recommend. Look elsewhere for a place that meets your needs read more

I just rented my first storage unit and I had the best help I could have asked for. The woman at the front office helped me get a great deal on a ground floor unit. Ron is so helpful! He reached out to confirm what time I would be going by and once I did he was amazing! I did Express Check In which saves SO much time when you arrive. Ron showed my husband and I the unit before signing any papers. Once confirming the size of the unit and seeing it we went back to the office to talk about insurance and unit pricing. We paid for the unit and was given our code to access the facility. Thank you Ron, we were extremely satisfied with our experience. We would definitely recommend this storage facility. read more

Accessibility has been hit-or-miss at best. Front door busted/not working (multiple times), unable to access building during posted access times of 0600-2100 (multiple times). Only thing keeping this from a 1 star rating were the few people I've meet having to deal with the previously stated issues. They have all been super friendly, tho usually unable to fix the problem. Very frustrating to drive from north Scottsdale only to find you have no access to your stuff! (Yes, during the posted access hours, and yes multiple times!) read more

By far this was the best decision I have EVER made! Nidia was extremely helpful and friendly! She made my moving and storage experience super smooth and easy! The store and storage units here are clean; Moving supplies are by the front desk, which made it even easier for me since I was able to buy what I needed without the hassle of looking around!! The place is solid. It's a little funny with their security code for doors, followed immediately by the elevator security code but I guess that could be a good thing too. Hopefully, all the first level people don't realize the stairs will provide a quick access to the second level. Most people store worthless junk anyway, only to be thrown away, as was witnessed by another Yelper's review. My company rents several storage units throughout the vally and this one is pretty decent. The staff has always been very helpful. Alyssa is willing to help with any small issues that have come up. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE COMPANY!!!! Public Storage is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with!! We have had our storage unit since October 2019 & on February 28, 2020 I received a notice that my storage rental was going up by 25%. When I called corporate headquarters, I spoke to one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to and he informed me that Public Storage only does month to month rentals and, therefore, they can raise the rental price any percentage they want, as frequently as they want. Public Storage engages in bait-and-switch business practices. They offered us a low rental rate to get us in the door. Then, just when we got all of our belongings into the storage unit, they raise the rent 25% and then told me that the rental rate could go up 100% next month since they do not have any cap on their rental increases month to month. I strongly encourage you to NOT use this storage facility company!! It's too bad that Kyle works for such an unethical and unscrupulous company because he is a really wonderful person and highly competent facility manager. read more

I have been renting a storage unit here for 3 years and I have always been treated well. There is one person in particular who goes above and beyond to help, his name is Zaheer and he is fantastic. A lot of times these storage units don't have any help around and and no employees but Zaheer is always there and ready to help with anything you may need. I would highly recommend this place. The customer service at this location is great, Ron has been very helpful and earnest so far, and did a great job of making sure there were no surprises or hidden fees while we were completing our reservation. Having said that, the location is difficult to get to because it's situated right next to a freeway, which means you can only access it coming from one direction - this becomes a pain if you're always coming from the wrong direction, so it's worth noting if you plan to make numerous trips back and forth. read more

Worst experience EVER with Moving!! First Jake cancelled my reservation with no notice, stating that it was policy after 48 hours, yet I have written confirmation of my reservation good for 7 days, price and every detail, but he refused to admit error, NEVER apologized, nor offered to make it right. Instead he would rent me the same unit but now for more money. I know there are other reviews of this office being great, but I'm sorry to say, this experience has let me with a HORRIBLE situation with Public Storage. I even called corporate, tried to get the regional manager, Dave to help, called the 800 number and was treated so condescending and unprofessional it was shocking! I am a health care professional, and all I can say is that it is a sad day when employees and companies think so little of their customers that I had no desire to EVER give them my business, and believe me, word of mouth will spread of this experience. I don't even think a one star is deserved of this office nor of Jake nor the man who works Sundays and Mondays. I have used Public Storage many times in the past for several years, and NEVER had an experience as stressful, deceitful, dishonest, disrespectful, unprofessional nor shady as this. read more
