On several occasions, Greg Douglas has made inappropriate sexual comments and advances towards me, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I repeatedly asked Greg to stop making these comments and advances, but he persisted. My last interaction with your manager he gave me an ultimatum to either find a new storage facility or have sex with him also letting me know that the wife said it's OK. He then gave me 2 days to clear out my belongings in which i was informed i could not bring anyone with me onto the property to help. On my last day at 5 pm Greg then began texting me saying he was locking the gates and I had no way out. Why he would say this I have no idea other than some jealous rage from me leaving and turning him down once again. I've been a customer at Cactus Self Storage for 5 years, longer than your management team and I'm completely disgusted with this kind of behavior.

I used a Door to Door storage container to move a family heirloom furniture set from WA to AZ…read more From start to finish I was extremely impressed with Door to Door. At first I was skeptical of this moving / storage company because they weren't as familiar to me as "PODS" or "UHaul" but after speaking to all the mainstream companies, asking questions, and acquiring quotes, Door to Door was the clear winner. Here's why: *I received an instant online quote; no hidden fees and I received a discount when I called *They were - by far - the most friendly, knowledgeable, polite, helpful customer service reps *They have the lowest claims (damage) rate even compared to professional moving companies *As if all of this weren't enough, they were $1,000 - $2,000 cheaper than the 3 mainstream competitors! The experience: the container was dropped off within the delivery time frame in both WA and AZ; both drivers were experts with the forklift, extremely courteous and made sure to place the container precisely (literally - within inches) where I wanted it and verified I was completely satisfied with the container itself and its position. Additionally, they are absolutely willing to work with you in regards to pick up and drop off; I live in a condo with limited parking here in Scottsdale and they arranged it so the container was dropped off and picked up the same day - within the few hours time frame I requested! They are in constant communication, too, via phone and email expressing as much of an interest in my belongings' transportation and delivery as my husband and I... maybe more so! I HIGHLY recommend Door to Door; if I ever need to transport furniture again, I know who I'll be calling.

BUYER BEWARE -- GET ALL MATERIAL COSTS IN WRITING BEFORE HIRING MOVING TEAM SIX…read more Our experience with Moving Team Six (Move #26476) was extremely frustrating. After we requested that our furniture be pad-wrapped for storage, we were charged $1,200 for 60 furniture pads at $20 each. Before work began, we were not given a written estimate stating the expected quantity or warning that wrapping could add approximately $1,200 to our bill. Our concern is not the wrapping itself, but the lack of transparency about the quantity and total material cost. A $20-per-pad price does not clearly communicate that approximately 60 pads may be used. A charge of this size should have been disclosed and approved in advance, rather than presented afterward as an unexpected surcharge. We asked Moving Team Six to review the charge and consider an adjustment, but did not receive the adjustment requested. Before hiring a moving company, get the expected material quantities, per-unit prices, total estimated costs, and approval process for additional charges in writing. This review reflects our experience and opinion. The lack of transparency and unexpected $1,200 surcharge made this experience particularly disappointing. I do not recommend hiring this company.

Never, ever consider this company for your move. You will be sorry you did. Would give zero stars…read moreif possible. When we finalized our plans to move from NY to North Carolina, we contacted a local mover (let's call him Bill), who we knew personally. He partnered with and recommended Muscular Moving for long distance moves. After our experience, I am sure even he is reconsidering his partnership with Muscular Moving. We arranged for Muscular to pick up our possessions on Friday August 14th. The night before pickup, the movers called us and stated they would be late as the truck broke down and would arrive early morning on Monday August 17th.. While not happy, we realized things happen, and since we weren't leaving NY until Wednesday the 19th, it gave us a few days to continue working to pack up our items. Monday the 17th we received a call at 745 am, fifteen minutes before their arrival time, telling us they would not arrive at our home until 11am. They finally showed up at 130pm. When the movers arrived, they quickly realized that nothing had been prepped; they were under the impression that our local mover had wrapped and prepped all the fragile items and Muscular would only need to load the truck and then leave. Well, Muscular Moving had never arranged for Bill to come in and prep everything. In fact, local mover Bill even called Kolby at Muscular Moving several times to offer his prep services before the Muscular pickup and Kolby turned him down. So after their arrival, the movers soon realized they would need to do everything, packing, wrapping and loading and then left for the evening around 7pm and the job, which was supposed to be finished on Monday, dragged on until 8pm Tuesday the 18th. Muscular then left NY and headed to NC, where they would put our items in storage for a week until we closed on our NC house. While in transit on August 19th, my wife and I received word from our NC builder that our new home closing would be delayed 3+ weeks until September 18th. On August 20th I informed Muscular that closing would be delayed 3 weeks and we would want our items delivered between 9/18 and 9/21. They finally delivered our items on 9/24. They had 3+ weeks to figure out the schedule to get us our items on time and they could not do it. Their own internal communication was horrible. Here is an example: On August 23rd, the night before the NC delivery, I received a call from the Muscular driver that he would be at our house at 8am the next morning with a crew to pick up our items and bring them to NY. I calmly explained that our items had come from NY and were in a storage unit in NC and the crew would need to go to the storage unit pick up our items and deliver them to our home in NC. I directed him to check with our move manager at Muscular so he could get the proper instructions. They arrived on 9/24 with many items missing Antique dresser / leg broken Cabinet / leg broken Vacuum cleaner / pole bent Glass top for coffee table smashed Several boxes of dishes / broken Curio shelf scratched Complete set of Corning ware/ all pieces smashed Missing pillows which belonged with our sofa Missing box of small tools Day bed had missing screws and bolts and could not be put together properly. Brass frame was scratched They apparently stored our items in a unit that was not climate controlled and all of our clothing and many of our other items smelled musty from the heat and humidity. When unpacking, we found glass shelves, which instead of being wrapped individually and then wrapped together, were just pressed together and wrapped as a stack. Major miracle that these shelves did not break. Even the unloading crew, which was different than the crew that loaded our items in NY, was astounded by the way our items were packed and treated. We are disgusted and upset that our possessions were treated in this way. Now we will need to go through their insurance which according to the previous poster, may not be worth our time. I want this company to step up and compensate us for our losses.
