After a family member passed away, I brought the certified death certificate, Will, and Trust documents as the Trustee and sole beneficiary. However, the manager incorrectly insisted that I also needed Power of Attorney, which is no longer valid after a person's death. We were eventually allowed access only because I already had the entry code. Once inside the unit, we found rat droppings throughout the space, along with visible rat traps in the hallways. Despite the unit being indoors on the second floor with air conditioning, there was clearly a serious pest problem. Roaches were climbing the walls, and when we got home, we discovered rat urine had soaked into several plastic bins. The condition of the facility was unacceptable.

However for 3 weeks 2 customer service representatives and 1 weeks storage until grounds have been telling me to call back every week. There were not going to hold reservations. so for 3 weeks I have been doing what they said I need to do to a fast No want the payment even if it is a month before college move out date. I was also In formed that they collected payment 4 months in advance. so if your not going to have stuff in the unit until need they still want payment. So many different things told. was so rude when I told them I was doing as they asked me to do and was told they didnt know who told me that. Yes they do because they know each time someone calls and calls are recorded plus agrees to allow me to record on my side. They are taking advantage of customer. The went straight to the new house, and had the truck unloaded very quickly. This company has very honest and transparent billing to the customer. I'm from New York and have seen it all, but this is probably one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Paul the owner was completely dishonest about their pricing, damaged my stuff, refused to provide a clear estimate or explanation of costs. At one point, he demanded that I sign my bill before an amount was even written in, threatening not to move my belongings unless I signed it blindly. When I balked, he had his people take my stuff, pack it up and they took off in the van holding it hostage. Seriously, like criminals. When I finally agreed to their price and signed, they still refused to return it. The owner Paul is just a really bad dude. Vile. Pure evil. I had to call the police, and my husband had to get on the phone with them to convince them to come back. When they finally did, they had the audacity to charge us for all the extra time wasted during this dispute--even though I had already agreed to the cost. To make matters worse, they added a mysterious "fuel tax" that was just a percentage of the total bill, and when I asked how that was related to fuel, they refused to explain. And they damaged our expensive carpet-they don't care. It looks like a lettuce leaf, totally destroyed. See picture. Their unprofessionalism, carelessness with your things, shady business practices, and outright hostage-style tactics made this the worst moving experience imaginable.
