Three men arrived for the loading and it was completed in three hours. Naturally, I requested the same crew for the unload at my new house. When only two people showed up, I knew this would not be good. I have very big, heavy pieces that were overpowering for only 2 men. My wall unit was not properly assembled as it was not possible to accomplish with only 2 men. I called Pack and Load to request remediation. I requested 3 men to come back to my home and assemble my wall unit, that it may be used. The pieces were not tight enough to place anything on the main shelf. I was told that management would be made aware of the situation and get back to me. After multiple calls, no response to my request was ever received. I contacted the team leader for the men that did my load and unload as he has his own company and gave me his card. Money Movers, did not return my call for help either. I'm a disabled, widowed senior who had to hire a handy man to fix the issues created by Pack and Load. Use this company wisely.

I was already in Massachusetts while my wife was in Texas overseeing the move. The crew of three completed part of the job but left behind several major items, including six mirrors, two TVs (still mounted on the wall), a coffee table, a table saw, a lawn mower, and gym mats. This was especially frustrating because there was still plenty of space remaining in the PODs, as shown in photos my wife shared with me. When my wife contacted customer service, the only solution offered was to send the crew back the next day and load everything into an additional POD--at an extra cost of around $2,500. That was completely unreasonable given that the original containers clearly had the capacity to hold the remaining items. Instead, my wife had to scramble to fix the situation herself. She drove to Home Depot to purchase additional moving supplies and then had to ask neighbors for help loading the remaining items. This left her handling physically demanding work that we had already paid professionals $1,031 to complete. What was most frustrating was not just the incomplete job, but the lack of effort and professionalism. Basic tasks--like even removing the TVs from the wall mounts--weren't done. Customer service also failed to provide a fair or practical resolution. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this company.

And of course, when they got everything on the truck and locked it in, the bill more then doubled in size. They also damaged items and stole a moving dolly I had. They are not professionals, just a guy who can drive the truck and a couple of people to help him move things. Ended up pulling my car in front of their truck, so they could not leave. They were fast (finished an hour early) and they were so pleasant. They were laughing with each other, having a great time even though the complex we moved into was kind of a headache to get around. They were so polite and careful with our items, ensuring everything was placed where we wanted it. This was our first move (out of 4 moves in 7 years) that we did not use a moving company that moved us start to finish (like packed the truck, drove it, and unloaded) and I was a little nervous about that, but all in all I'm very happy with our experience. Two moving crews in two states with a 16 ft truck FULL floor to ceiling, front to back was $1,400 (truck not included).

From the start, there was clear miscommunication. The two movers arrived expecting to unload, despite my repeated confirmation that the job was to load a trailer for an out-of-state move. With Upack, space-saving is critical, yet the movers showed little understanding--or concern--for this. They ignored much of the packing material I had provided, leaving behind nine blankets and four straps. When I received the trailer days later, my belongings were damaged--scratched, crushed, bent, and stained. Boxes had toppled over due to poor securing, despite my efforts to provide extra strapping. I contacted the company at least six times before finally being offered a "discount on future services," which I found insulting. Only after several more calls and follow-ups was I promised a refund of my $100 deposit. It took 11 additional days and several more emails to finally receive confirmation of that refund. If you value your belongings and your peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

So after the move I was told that several things were missing from the estimate that John visually saw . 3 area rugs that were already wrapped. a dresser, an end table - all in the garage when John came. a small gate (for my dog). and a few other things that were that were there when John gave the estimate. So now the movers also told me that they had to reassemble the furniture, put area rugs down and then move them til customer (me) was satisfied with their placement! i was told this work was all included in my quote. The boxes that had to be moved were a total of 10 as I moved the rest a head of time. So now they tell me it is the time they charge for and not the number of boxes. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the whole thing felt like a scam!
