Michael's nice, confident manner assured me that they would take good care of us. Further communications with him, he was right there, very responsive to the emails I sent with questions. I was NEVER clearly told that the 15% fuel surcharge applies to both labor and travel time, even when the truck isn't being used. Chris, their customer service rep defended the "expert" process, offered a $100 credit, and called it a day. A move I expected to cost around $500-$600 ended up costing $910. TERRIBLE customer service, and I won't be using them again.

From the start, there was clear miscommunication. The two movers arrived expecting to unload, despite my repeated confirmation that the job was to load a trailer for an out-of-state move. With Upack, space-saving is critical, yet the movers showed little understanding--or concern--for this. They ignored much of the packing material I had provided, leaving behind nine blankets and four straps. When I received the trailer days later, my belongings were damaged--scratched, crushed, bent, and stained. Boxes had toppled over due to poor securing, despite my efforts to provide extra strapping. I contacted the company at least six times before finally being offered a "discount on future services," which I found insulting. Only after several more calls and follow-ups was I promised a refund of my $100 deposit. It took 11 additional days and several more emails to finally receive confirmation of that refund. If you value your belongings and your peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

They broke a very expensive tv and hid it when they brought into the new place. Since I did not check anything because I just wanted them out of my house I signed the receipt. Long story short, I had to get a truck and move two truck loads that they could not fit into their small truck. I had to buy wardrobe boxes after the fact to,pack 3 closets full of clothes. The job was to be 6 hours with 3 men. It took 8 hours with 1 man and 2 children. The company would not even speak with me, sent me to claims so they could say I signed the receipt of was "SOL". Save your money, you would be better off hiring U-Haul labor, they have to be better.
