I hired Expedient Movers for a second time for my move on July 17, 2021 at 9am. I booked this move over a month prior with Scott. I confirmed my move the week before. On July 17 at 10am (an hour after they were supposed to move), a contracted moving company called me and said they needed to move me the following day (note: Expedient actually don't provide the moving service, they are contracting our to other moving services). That wasn't possible due to my lease being up that evening. I contacted the Expedient Movers repeatedly on moving day and throughout the following week. I have left numerous voicemails on July 17, 2021, July 19 and 20, 2021 and as of July 22, 2021, no one from Expedient Movers has called to explain the situation to me or even apologize. At this point, someone would be a fool to hire this company. In summary, I was left with a rental van, pod, and a lease that was ending in 12 hours with no moving help. I thought I was booking a legitimate company, over 30 days in advance, but in the end, I was left to beg my family to help me move. If this is how they treat a loyal, repeat customer, I can't imagine how they would treat new customers. It is somewhat challenging writing this because I have used expedient movers seven times, six of them were pretty much above average moves. Unfortunately, the last move was horrible and the customer service afterwards was also horrible. During the last move, Expedient Movers outsourced the move to another company. They came unprepared with a smaller truck than what was utilized before. This caused them to not be able to load all of my property and they had to make two trips. The time between locations was 40 minutes and they assessed me for the time used to drive back and forth. They damaged my property and damaged the walls, doors, and a light fixture. I voiced my frustration with their fee assessment and then they became rather intimidating when I would not give them a tip. After the move, I contacted customer service and complained about the experience. My complaint was never addressed after several attempts. read more

I spent 20 minutes outside of my apartment in a LOUD argument with one of the movers who threatened to unload my furniture and put it back in the apartment. (I'll make sure to copy this review to repost again and again to spare anyone and everyone I can from being screwed over by them. Anyways on with the horror story, My best friend hired and paid in full to have 3 movers move her 5 bedroom 3 bathroom home. They showed up late and one mover short. While "moving" they only did one load which was not even half of her home, broke her daughters dresser beyond repair and didn't finish that load until 3AM!!! My friend had to apologize to her neighbors for being disruptive and moving in so late which anyone knows is not the first impression they want to give to new neighbors. After that they never came back to help her move the rest of her stuff. She ended up actually throwing her back out trying to complete things on her own. And when she tried to contact the company they refused to answer the phone, she messaged them on Facebook and she was left on read. After she posted her review (see photo below and/or her review post unless they delete that too) that she was in tears at her old home with no help which was supposed to be empty and ready for cleaners that she now had to cancel. I took it upon myself to try and contact them to see if I could help. They answered the phone on the first ring and were happy to talk to me until they realized I wasn't a new customer and told them who I was calling on behalf of. They then quickly transferred me to an automatic voicemail claiming it was to speak to the manager. I called back over and over and suddenly there was no answer. (Suspicious since the first time I called my call was picked up right away) after calling about 8 times finally I was put in contact with the regional manager Christine who gave me her direct number for my friend to get ahold of her. Here I'm thinking we've made progress. NOPE. When Jerica did get ahold of her she was told nothing could be done unless she paid for a whole new move! Even though her old home was still half full of things from the first time she paid for them to move it. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional! I'm not usually one to leave reviews like this but I'd HATE for anyone to experience anything like this especially at this time. And it killed me to know a person I love and respect was put in such a crappy situation. Please save yourself the headache and don't use this company! PLEASE FAR AWAY from this company!! On 10/2/2020, I had moved with company, in the mover used his trolley to damaged my kitchen island. The Mover informed that not to worry, as the mover insurance will cover it. The mover actually filed the claim report at the end of delivery and I follow-up with another report. I contacted Christina (claim associate) and was told on the telephone and email that they will investigate it and process the claim, which will take up to 2 months. After several weeks of emails and VMs to follow-up with claims, there were no respond. I finalized got this email: Dear Tony, We at Milestone Relocation Solutions Claims Department understand after reviewing your photos that some damages occurred during the course of the move. We are sure that you are aware this is an unfortunate part of the business sometimes. We first off just wanted to apologize to you for this, and also thank you for your continued patience during this process. As far as your claim goes: We are required to reimburse damages at a rate of 60 cents per pound. This is what our contract states. As far as your property goes, please be advised that the insurance only covers the items that are being moved by our movers and the property is not being covered. In many cases the homeowners or renters insurance covers such damages. In the future should you need any further assistance in moving we will extend to you a 15% discount off of the final price of your next move. I have been burned by movers many times in the past to include theft (65 of 72 boxes stolen) one move, my iPad stolen another move and broken items in another. But, Titus, Enrique and Scott have instilled trust, at least in their company. I was SO impressed. Enrique was a very hard worker and very personable and Titus was the same and he even fixed my dresser that had 2 broken feet on it previously. They were on time, took care of everything and ensured things were perfect before they left. Scott was the service adviser and at one point, I wasn't going to go with them, but he convinced me otherwise and I am very happy he did. So, not only did the guys prove their integrity, but my items arrived better than they left the previous home. BE AWARE !!! What a scam of a company. They never answer the phone, they never call to confirm, they just do not care overall. I had a move on June 1st and 2 guys showed up- move started at 2:15pm when they were supposed to start at 2pm (and they had the nerve to start the clock at 2pm) I asked for the boxes for clothes that I was told they would provide - NOTHING, I was told by one of the guys "take it in your car because it's not going in my truck", they never wrapped ANYTHING, I even offered the moving blankets and they did not use anything to cover the upholstered furniture that happens to be light grey - or better yet .. it used to be light grey, now it's filthy dirty - the truck was so filthy and they dragged and scratched everything- they did not cover the TV's -not my dining room table that is glass. The driver had the worse attitude, he did not want to take anything in the truck, he kept complaining about everything - even though we moved the furniture from the loft to the main floor, we even rolled up the carpet and pulled apart the sectional. He said he was not taking the drawers from a dresser, he was not taking the dining room table, not the clothes, not the bikes, nor the plants, nor the containers ... nothing !!! and then he wanted me to pay him upfront!! I was told payment was due after everything was unloaded and furniture was put back the way it was supposed to be. It was the worst experience, they left the entire move in the middle of the living room, they took all the screws for my bed, for my TV's etc. No one in the company has answered the phone to this day. STAY AWAY from this fraud "moving company". That driver kept saying it was his truck and he made the decision as to what went in the truck and what he didn't want in the truck, as if he was the owner, he went as far as to threaten me! telling me he was keeping my stuff unless I paid upfront. And to make matters worse, they finished at 4:45pm and they charged me as if they worked until 5pm (after the first 2 hours, it jumps to increments of 15min) they charged us $400 when it was supposed to be $199. half of the time they spent it on the phone. Can I not put any star? Because 1 star means not good, while they are TERRIBLE. I purchased the service as a gift to my client. Very quick response, polite, the whole nine yard when I called to get a quote and reserve the date. I even confirmed and paid in full the service the day before. Here comes the D date, my client all ready to move on her ONLY day off, the movers never arrived. Reached out to the contracted mover (which I just learned the day before that they outsource the job), Rich Gordon (the one confirmed my booking) even Scott (which take over for Rich, because it was after 5 and Rich all of a sudden don't answer phone after 5PM), and all of a sudden nobody ever answer the phone anymore. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS! I was super happy when I first called and talked to Scott Sanderson the "move coordinator". I got a great rate and they were able to set me up quickly for my move on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm. On Saturday I called the company at 3pm because I had just checked my move time on the confirmation and it said 9 to 10am and I wanted to make sure I had not misunderstood something. I had to call three times and finally Scott picked up and assured me that that we were scheduled from 2 to 4 pm and he would reach out to his guys and have them contact me. At 4pm I had not had any contact so I called Scott, no answer. I left a message. I called again at 4:15 no movers, no Scott. I called at 5 pm, no Scott no movers. It is 5:30 now and I can assume we have been stood up. I called and scheduled another mover, better rate, and they will move me tomorrow. As a new customer, we were treated terribly. We booked our move 2 weeks in advance. The day of, a crew of 3 men finally showed up 4 hours late in a rented U-Haul truck, without any moving blankets, or bubble wrap to wrap our furniture. The crew leader was so unprofessional and disrespectful, and I felt that he went out of his way to let us know that he was tired, and did not want to be doing the job. We even had all of our stuff in the garage and organized. I asked them multiple times to be careful with our furniture and to please figure out how to wrap some of our things. I almost told them to leave, and I was going to figure something else out but due to the situation, I didnt have any other help. That was a bad decision on my part. Our new place was on the 3rd floor. I told this to Scott, who was our sales rep. The crew had now idea, so to be expected, they were pissed, and by this time it was dark outside. Out of desperation to get our things out of the truck and into our new place, I helped them carry things up the stairs. They also ripped a door off of a brand new piece of furniture because it was not wrapped or protected with anything , and 1 man was trying to haul it up the stairs with a moving dolly and dropped it. They also messed up the entry door jam because they were so careless when bringing things into the front door. Once our things were finally in our new place, they of course wanted to be paid without offering any type of solution to replace the broken piece of furniture. We were told to go on Expedient Movers website to file a claim. What a joke. It took 60 days, and multiple follow ups to get a response. Their response was that in our "contract" that it states that they will pay .60 per pound for any damages. They offered to pay $60 for damages for a $250 piece of furniture and $15 off our next move with them. I didn't see any contract with anything about .60 per pound for damages and I've asked them to show me where it says that, but have not gotten any responses. Our agent was Scott Sanderson. He will not accept my calls. He either hangs up or transfers me to someone else. Great customer service Scott. I didn't end up going this this company because they contacted me way too often, while I was at work. I called and told them I would call back on a few weeks once I signed the papers to my new home and actually knew my move in date. They followed up the next day - OK. No big deal. They then proceeded to call incessantly over the next several weeks ALL while i constantly told them I was at work and that I WOULD GET BACK TO THEM. It felt very sales like and it's shady that they seemed to function like telemarketers. Also trying so hard to convince me is sales and deals - great, but I have a set schedule and a set move in date and this did not seem to register when talking about setting up a time. These are the worst movers ever! They knew upfront how much stuff I had in storage and that I needed it moved in one day. They scheduled me in the middle of the day by their own choice and around 5:00 pm the movers said they don't work after 5:00 and would have to charge me for another full day to come back. When they brought the last truck to my home, one of them went through my underwear drawer and asked me if I have ever worn the same pair twice because I had so many. I was just appalled that they went through my personal stuff when I wasn't looking. I paid nearly twice as much as I should have because I decided to give them a chance. My movers were a no show - no call!!! They were supposed to be there between 9-10am Sunday. When they hadn't arrived by 10:30am I attempted to contact the company but they were closed.The confirmation text I received was a non-dialable automated message number but I sent a text message anyway. I also sent an email. At 11:00am I sent a message on FB messenger which said they'd respond within 1 hour. 3 hours later I got a message telling me if my movers had not yet arrived they'd find a manager to call. At this point it had already been 5 hours since they were supposed to have shown and I told them I found another reliable mover to help me. 7 hours after they were supposed to have been there I got a call from the driver telling me that they couldn't make it because they were in a big truck and it was raining. Funny Starving Artists Movers had no problem saving the day for me and moving me in the rain in their big truck. Besides that, had Expedient Movers showed up when they were supposed to I wouldn't of had to move in the rain because it hadn't rained for 5 hours out of the time that I was waiting. But that's not all. 29 hours after they were supposed to move me I got a call from a different driver telling me they were on their way after I had already advised them on FB messenger and I told the 1st driver the day before that I no longer needed their services. I couldn't of waited to the next day if I wanted to. Moving is a huge event that can't be postponed because unreliable movers decide they don't feel like working that day. Not a good experience at all. They try to be the competition by deceptive practices. The sales man lies, and doesn't disclose a $99 charge for arrival. Jim will not tell you about the charge, and he will not give you a correct estimate. Then when you go to pay after the job, and the charge comes up, you speak to Erik....Erik will do nothing besides read a script about Jim being a great sales man with their company for 6 years, and you must be trying to get something free. That is not the case! I don't mind paying charges when they are disclosed. If they were upfront with the charge I would of went with another company. They cancelled on us the first day and the second morning. Finally came late afternoon on the third day. The final charge was $100 over quote to move a piano, 50 per cent more than quoted! The up-charge was oddball fees not mentioned at the time of quote. Fortunately we had a 4-wheel furniture caddy to carry the piano because they did not. Morons! BEWARE! Consider the star a -100 rating What the "agent" tells you on the phone is not completely accurate. The person I spoke to stated the hourly rate and when I repeated the rate and said that's it he agreed that was it. A terrible surprise to find that there is a fee they charge (same amount as the hourly rate) for just showing up. They call it an arrival fee or in the contract it's called a transportation fee. Can you imagine? You get charged for them just showing up - I would love to pull that on my boss but I know what I would be told ... it was on me though I should have specifically asked what the transportation fee was about. Since Richard (the agent) said it's was just the hourly fee I believed him to be a man of his word. WRONG. Again it's on me. I am physically disabled so I had to move two buildings over from the second floor to the first floor. I had about 50-60 boxes and regular furniture- no appliances though. It took three men 7 hours to move it and they didn't totally move everything - I stopped them at 7 hours because it was going way over my budget for the move. I was originally told by the "agent" that it would be 4 hours max. Add to that another hours fee and I was livid. It took me another day 1/2 to move the things that were left at the old apartment. Going up and down stairs carrying things while on crutches is not an easy task. The one guy who seemed in charge of the movers was both smart and physically fit - the next guy was built but sort of slow - the third guy was a line backer with an attitude that could only carry one small box at a time. My property was scratched up and dented. The line backer looked like he was in a pinball machine walking down the hall - he did not miss a spot to hit or bounce my stuff off. My bed was put together incorrectly - the boards were not secured and my mattress was out of whack. I have a day bed that they lost some of the screws to because when I sat on it it fell. My couch has reclining seats was bent - doesn't open correctly now. Add to that the scratches and dents. The same day of the move I called the "agent" Richard who gave me his direct line - he never answered. I tried to get a hold of him for days and he was ducking me. A friend finally got through to him and he said I was out of luck that those were the charges as stated on the contract and if there was any damage to email their claims department. Which I did. The reply I received was meant for someone else because it was addressed to someone by the name of Cary. Thats not my name. Another friend who could not believe what happened called and spoke to someone who said he was the manager. Unbelievable - she was treated rudely and not once "I'm sorry you all experienced this" was said. No customer service - he was actually getting upset and being short. He said to email the claim in and they would investigate. So I did - only because I had to see where this would go. After sending my detailed list of damages the claims person stated that they should only pay $60 but they would pay $100 - oh wow I guess from the goodness of their hearts. Of course they "investigated" and of course I would end up holding the short end of the stick which I did. I cashed the $100 and I am writing this in hopes that no one has to go through the terrible experience I did. These people subcontract the moves - you may get lucky, you may not. You will pay the showing up fee no matter what (which I don't think can be legal) I work very hard for my money. I don't want any more or any less than what I pay for. I'm guessing since this service doesn't rely on repeat business they are out for themselves. Shame on them. I hope they never find themselves full of sweat, carrying stuff down a flight of stairs on crutches for something they were way over charged for. Or having to pay people to come and fix what was damaged later because that's exactly what I had to do. It wasn't no $100. Please beware. read more

They were suppose to have 3 movers and only sent 2 with a small truck I knew would not fit our move ( no excuse as I sent them my detailed list of every piece of furniture). Move took 8 plus hours and they couldn't fit all my belongs so they never finished the job. They suggested I rent a UHAUL at my expense for them to finish the job. They also falsely advertised that they wrap your furniture to protect it..NOT TRUE and I had several pieces with scratches. At every turn the management made excuses and never accommodated us for the horrific service we received. WORST MOVE EVER. We moved on April 18 in the middle of the pandemic from St. Pete to Orlando. I went with Expedient Movers because my son in Orlando had a good experience with them. Initially the response from the company was good, they were affordable (cheaper than others) and the move went quickly. But what I learned is you get what you pay for. While Jamaica on the crew was wonderful, the lead Yannis was somewhat rude and difficult to understand. And they were a different company -- Teleport Moving & Storage. They didn't cover items with blankets properly. I had a lot of dings and damage. But the biggest was my dining table. I left St. Pete before my husband and told Yannis to disassemble the table if he didn't think it would travel well. They didn't and they must have piled things on top of it. It didn't make it off the truck and I wasn't taken on the truck to look at it. He said the base came off and they would fix it. Not only did the base come off, the legs completely broke off. I filed a claim and I have been trying ever since to get a response from the company. It's August 13!! No one answers emails or the phone. I'm so sorry that I went with cheaper. I even tipped them all!!! I will now have to replace my table so the money saved is now money lost. read more

We used a moving company "Expedient Movers Inc" to move antique furniture we had, the movers were clumsy at best and negligent at worst. The truck they came isn't what is shown in pictures, it was beat to hell. They damaged drywall in the house, broke thousands of dollars in furniture and all they have offered is $300. I am a disabled veteran and couldn't move this by myself due to my back issues. We used them to pack our 5 PODS full of everything from the house, everything was fast, efficient and best of all..... When we had the PODS delivered 2 mths later to move into our new home, nothing was broke. They came back to our new home and unpacked the 5 PODS up 2 sets of stairs and never complained. Terrible scam. Jim Prouty quoted me three hours to move my home, I asked for someone to physically come and look because I couldn't believe it. He was upset I would question him. They came out and couldn't finish the job, asked me to help pack when I bought the full package and then they asked me to buy more boxes even though I also prepaid all packaging materials in full. They never finished the job. The next day I was contacted by one of their goons demanding full payment. They broke my headboard and never paid. This was my first time going with company and I would have stuck with 2 men and a truck had I known what I know now. With fewer items moving out then I had moving in, I was certain it would be 2.5 hours tops. I noticed the movers were stalling and taking longer than normal breaks. I spent a great deal of my time moving things on the truck to keep them going. There were two movers and one of them appeared to be new at this and extremely slow and easily tired out so I'm not sure if he was new to the company. Run from this company. They are crooks. They broke 2 brand new 55" smart tvs, they damaged my brand new dining room table, the damaged our outdoor table, the damaged 2 large armoires. They will not return my phone calls (this happened in August 2020. It is now December). I have sent numerous emails, made hundreds of calls. No repose. I filed a complaint with the state and the President replied back that they never heard from me. I sent proof and their "manager" Christine finally called with lies. They said they would only send me a check for $200.00 for all of the damage because they only pay $.06 per pound per their contract and the tv's don't weigh much. They also refuse to pay for damage to the furniture because "they didn't pack them". IT'S FURNITURE!!! ARMOIRES DONT GO IN A BOX!!! They packed the furniture!!! They are liars and crooks. Read the Better Business Bureau complaints. They are all the same complaints. The President is on LinkedIn. I left a message for him there too. We should all flood his LinkedIn page and file a class action lawsuit. read more

Past exp w movers hasn't been so great so I was trying a different company. Short/small move so didn't want to pay big bucks. The guys were held up at their first stop and was c onsiderably late but once there, very professional and "expedient". Cost was reasonable. Would call again. read more

These people were terrible. First, they subcontracted the job to totally unqualified people in a rental truck. Eventually, they got me moved (6 hours late), then the real trouble started. I hired Expedient Movers to move me a short distance within Pinellas County. In doing so, unknown to me, they put a knee through my flat screen TV and broke it. I called to inform them, they sent Clearwater TV out to examine the TV. Clearwater TV, in my presence, called Expedient to say the TV was broken and it would cost about $350 to fix it. Clearwater TV told me they had a comparable, used TV in their truck for $300. I then, in the presence of the Clearwater TV rep, told Expedient that if they bought the replacement, I would be satisfied. They told me to pay Clearwater TV and they (Expedient) would send me $300. Dumbly, I did so. Fraudulently, they did not send my money. I have called 3 times, and they do not answer the phone, nor do they return my call. The company's web site says they are licensed and bonded. I need my $300 and believe they also should pay me damages for my lost time and my anxiety and strees.
