Pictures are after I removed quite a bit of leaves and dirt. I showed the office employee and she said that happens with wind. I asked about getting a better seal on the unit but she said she didn't know and said "maybe you can move to another unit." That was not helpful. I tried to reach them for assistance through calling and on Facebook and there was no resolution. I also could not believe the price hike to more than double after the initial year- we moved out and closed our account.

My husband and I rented a unit with the intent of only having it for 3 months. We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

We somehow went to the 9501…read moreLiberty Rd location, and received a call from the 8514 location, Janel, I believe, and she rudely told us if we wanted to see the unit we needed to get there soon because she closes in 30 minutes. Since we were already at the 9501 location, we decided to go in and look at the actual unit sizes. As soon as we entered the building, Stephanie, greeted us in a very warm and welcoming manner, so we knew then that we would be renting from this location, and not at the one closest to our home. Stephanie was very patient to show us two units, and we decided to rent at this location. She allowed us to look online for any promotions which we did find.

I moved this past weekend and hired Bookstore Movers for the job. I can honestly say I was blown…read moreaway by the professionalism, efficiency, and expertise of the moving crew. I worked with a different moving company 2 years ago that left me scarred for life with how rude and unprofessional they were. I ended up having to finish the job myself (moving my giant couch up four flights of stairs), so when I knew I was moving again, I did my due diligence and sought out a few quotes. Another company quoted me almost $800 and required a 3 hour minimum for the job!! $800 seemed steep and I knew the job wouldn't take that long... Along came Bookstore Movers who quoted me a reasonable $470 minimum for two hours of work and a maximum of $680 for 3.5 hours of work (price breakdown: $140 per hour with 2 hour min. plus a $190 truck fee). I received a quote within a few hours of requesting it. There was no deposit required and the date was booked. I received detailed emails leading up to the move about FAQs, tips for a seamless move, and the names of my crew including contact info for the crew lead. Abdul (crew lead), Niiwayo "Y.O", and Milly were SO fast and friendly. They wrapped every single item with care in drop cloths and got to moving immediately. Despite the 90 degree heat and a total of five flights of stairs, the job was finished in 2 hours. I was SO impressed. I was so traumatized by my last move that I literally had to walk away while they moved the couch in but before I knew it, I got a text from my boyfriend telling me they had fit it through the door and our living room was all set up. I was so relieved and happy to work with them. If and when we move again, (hopefully not anytime soon, lol), I will 100% be contacting Bookstore Movers... and you should too!
