I rarely do ratings but today was a bit much for me. I was there with my movers at 9:15am; however, the office does not open till 9:30am so we were patiently waiting. Now it was 9:34 am and that's when a girl arrives. I head inside after her as she is starting her system. I let her know that this was the first time I go there to the 1st floor unit I recently rented and that I needed her to show me it's location. She was so rude and just looked so annoyed at the fact that she had to "work". When she showed me to my unit the first thing I noticed is how hot it is in there even though the units I have are climate controlled. It is almost 100 degrees in Miami right now and in there it felt way hotter than 100 degrees. I asked why it was so hot and she said the a/c just turned off. I went ahead and said to her, "there is no way the a/c has been on at all in here today or yesterday for that matter". Then she says, "well that's the temperature they keep the a/c at (now a different story) from the "a/c just turned off". I asked if I can contact the manager and she said "her name is Rosie and she won't be back till tomorrow and anyway she will tell the same thing". If I pay for a climate controlled unit it should not be 80 degrees in there ever. And just to add that I was there for about an hour 1/2 checking both units I rent and the a/c did not come on not even once. I will be contacting management tomorrow and if I don't get a response I will have to take my both 10x20 units elsewhere. read more

I chose this spot for my storage needs due to location. It seemed good enough to get the job done but there are some aspects of it that now give me anxiety every time I have to go: 1. Cart checkout process: You have to stand at the backdoor like a pouting puppy until someone notices you and comes to unlock a cart. Sometimes, they are on hour long breaks and in that case, you're on your own. 2. No dumping: The parking lot houses huge dumpsters that we're not allowed to use. I end up taking boxes out of my car, all to return with empty boxes to fill it up again. It's annoying. 3. Don't accept deliveries: I've heard some storage facilities can accept deliveries... This would make my life a whole lot easier. 4. Location: It took me about ten times of driving here before I really figured out how to do it. Unless you're coming from southbound on US-1, it's a pain. Is this how all storage facilities are? If so, I'm thinking I have a new business calling. I could make a lot of product-heavy people pretty happy! read more

I did my reservation online where they advertise first month free however i ended up paying $167 for the first month which later on came down to $145 cause i returned the lock. The lady at the country was very helpful, she showed us the unit and everything was fine. One thing we noticed when we went to the unit location was that it was very hot, we asked her about and she said that the company keeps it like that to save. If I'm paying for climate controlled unit i want something comfortable. Moving day came and we got there about 3:30pm, guess what it was right unbearable after 10 minutes and we stayed there for about an hour and the a/c never came on. I have a thermometer app on my phone and the temperature at that moment was 79.9F. we left and went back around 6 and the temp was 76.5 . This is not what I'm paying for, i consider this inhumane and some one one day will pass out from the heat. Done times it gets hard to breath. A suit waiting to happen. I plan on contacting HQ to formally complaint and i hope my things don't get ruined. read more

It's the luxury of a rich society that allows individuals to collect so many material things that they need to pay to put them somewhere. And so it is. Our teensy apartment doesn't have much wiggle room for extra stuff, so we were forced to rent out a little climate controlled box in the Public Storage facility down the street. Little did we know they'd up the rent every freakin' month. FML. I mean, they totally screw you - they know no one wants to move their crap once they have it situated, so they continually raise the rent after you're all moved in. Makes me want to live out of a small suitcase. But no matter how I scale down my junk (and I've done wonders getting rid of stuff over the years), it's still more than I can store in our place. So we're forced to pay these people $100 a month to use their closet. Lame! On one minor positive note, the place is climate controlled, so your things are well kept. They do have odd hours for a storage facility though, and you can't access your belongings all the time. Sigh. What I wouldn't give for a garage. read more

The absolute worst storage in Dade County, the manager "Rosi" is the rudest most unprofessional person ever. Their elevators haven't been certified in 3 years (since 2015) and often get stuck or shake and sound like they're going to fall apart, the air conditioning is literally off and they just recycle warm air thru the vents, they raise rates monthly without notice and will sell off your property without contacting you if they think you have nice stuff. The building is falling apart, the units are over priced and the company obviously doesn't care. NO ONE EVER answers the phone when you call during business hours and you have to knock on the door for at least 15 minutes in order to get someone at the office to peak from the back. Much nicer, newer, more secure, cleaner and cheaper options in the area. STAY AWAY from this place and don't buy into the fake reviews by the manager's friends or fake profiles. If you want to have slumlord quality storage without a/c or working elevators and the worst customer service of your life go for it! ZERO STARS thanks to their horrible management and deteriorating facility to go with their sleezy tactics. They don't value your business in the tiniest bit and it couldn't be more obvious. AVOID AT ALL COST - This score should be a ZERO but 1 star is the lowest google allows you to rate. Horrible experience. read more

I booked my reservation at this place because my mover said he had a storage unit there and it would be easier for him to manage all the stuff i was going to store and because they had a 50% off first month offer. i got there 1/2 an hour earlier to give some extra time to my movers to unload the truck. the manager, an angry faced individual who never even greeted me or said a good morning, and whose name tag read "DIB" opened the door and even though I excused myself as soon as he opened the door for starting to unload before I rented my unit, he started to question me why I was doing it. I told him again that I had a reservation and that my movers had recommended me to rent a unit from them, so long story short he goes to the computer, and tells me i cannot get the 50% off because the movers recommended me and i was trying to abuse the offer. which does not make any sense at all since I was referred to them by one of their customers, so instead of rewarding referrals they penalize referrals??? it might be some kind of reverse marketing strategy that i am not aware off, perhaps they have too many rentals and they want to get rid of some customers instead of getting new ones? so my belongings are off the truck, the movers are charging me and this guy tells me that he is not giving me the 50% off offer because i am a referral and therefore i am abusing the offer, so what is left? pay the regular price to the mean, angry, grouchy, ogre named DIB. you know what though, if he had greeted me, his first customer of the day, with a good morning how are you this morning Mr Customer, and he would at least try to smile at some point during our interaction, i would not be writing this review today.at least not with one solitary star. good riddance angry DIB, I will pray that you do not get any customer referrals, God forbid you might have to honor a corporate offer or you might develop some new business, read more

I think this place is overpriced for no reason. I lost some of my belongings... Not sure how, no one was able to help. The insurance you are paying for monthly is pointless. There needs to be signs of forced entry for them to cover anything. read more

This is my second year storing at this facility. The staff is fantastic and the layout is great. I like that the hours are convenient and the loading area is not cramped like my previous storage center. I also like that they are very concerned about what you bring in to the units, They don't allow food items or toxic chemicals and I've seen them politely confront policy violators. The last thing I want are roaches in my storage facility or noxious fumes. Two thumbs up. I can't emphasize it enough, this is a fantastic facility with an exceptionally professional staff! read more

Amazing staff!!!! Was desperate for a last minute storage unit at 5 o'clock on a Sunday when we got back from vacation and through customs, and Rosy stuck around to help me out even though it kept her after her required hours - we are so thankful to her, as we would have had to put our things in the trash otherwise!! I give this place 5 stars for sure - all due to Rosy!! She was so helpful and accommodating. No other storage facilities & their employees were willing to help us out. When the lease was signed I was informed by teller that the facility counts with some "dollies" to help me out carrying my luggage, boxes and general stuffs. But because the office only opens at 9:30 and the storage is opened since 6 am in the morning, the facility has only one dolly to serve the whole immense building. Guess what? Five times I came early in the morning to avoid traffic all the dollies were locked up and not only a single one to serve. Result: I have to carry my own stuff and needed to take more than 5 times the elevator. Honestly, Disrespectful!! But ever since I have been contacted by them in order to know if I am going to renew and everything. NOT SURE AT ALL! read more

TERRIBLE! The staff is the worst. Might as well hire a bunch of monkeys,, oh they already did. They said I didn't pay and then cut my lock and put their lock on it and then said it was up for auction. When I confronted them they said our system is down so we think you didn't pay. finally called another office and found out that I did pay and then they put a new lock on for me. The three access doors do not lock so there is access for everybody. My gate code didn't work quite a few times. They are unfriendly, unskilled and certainly do not have professional customer service skills. Also overpriced. This location is in Miami on nw 7th ave. DO NOT RENT HERE! read more
