Went in today to check out the facilities & had the nicest & most helpful young lady helping me. Shay walked me thru the place & gave me the whole run down. I was so impressed I signed up on the spot! Thank you, Shay!! read more

Ok so Ashley the manager is thee best, my girl usually fills out these Yelp reviews. So sorry for whoever I just wrote a paragraph on your response about Ashley. I've been here since Jan 2021 and Ashley was a breath of fresh sunshine air, even during the pandemic has always been so helpful, and keeps you updated, especially when moving or storing your belongings at a place where she really made me and I'm sure others very secure, and very responsive and caring. This is literally the maybe first or 2nd I've actually ever written. Thanks Ashley your the best! Michael deff recommend this public storage out of the many I've had. Just watch out for the address it's a bit tricky i believe it's on W Jefferson & Somerset dr, but might say west Adams on some apps. read more

First time Ive rented a storage and I will admit I was having a hard time with just about every step. Thankfully, I found Maritza. She taught me how to open the main gate properly with just my phone and how to pay bills online. She walked me all the way to my storage and showed me how to open/close my gate. Overall, i'm very satisfied with Maritzas help read more

Our daughter is a student at USC in Los Angeles and instead of driving to get all her things when school ended last spring, we had her move all her stuff into this storage center. It was so easy to set everything up online! Then she went there and Ashley was AWESOME! She showed my daughter the unit, how to work the lock, and how the access gate worked. It was such a wonderful experience! When we moved her out of the storage last weekend to go back to school, it was just as smooth and hassle free. I was able to thank Ashley in person for being so kind to our daughter and making it super easy. I can not recommend this place enough. The location can be rough on the outskirts, but the facility itself is very secure and clean. 10/10 stars! read more

I LOVE this storage facility! I was kinda traumatized after my previous storage unit at a non public storage location got broken into and almost everything was damaged/stolen... HOWEVER, this public storage is very well kept and very secure. I LOVE Ashley! She's the manager at this location and she is so easy to talk to. When I first got my storage unit here I was impressed by how customer service oriented she is. She always says hi when she sees me and lets me know shortly before they close which I always appreciate. Ashley is so sweet and it made me kinda sad to tell her that I would be moving my belongings out. But whenever I need to rent a storage space in the area I will definitely come back to this specific location, just because I know my belongings will be safe here. But for anyone who's looking to store there belongings in this area, I highly recommend this location! read more

Their introductory rates are a total scam. We rented a unit about a year ago. The contract does state that rent may go up at any time, but we were assured by management that it rarely happens and when it does, the increase is only about 5% per year. Here we are, a year later, and we just got our 2nd notice of a substantial increase to our rent. With this latest increase, our rent is now 27% higher than it was a year ago! Outrageous. This company is clearly hoping that (a) people on autopay won't notice them jacking up the rent again and again or (b) they won't want to be bothered with moving all their stuff and will just put up with it. It's almost like extortion: "whattaya gonna do, move?" Well, yes. The staff and facilities at this location are generally nice, but the price hikes are outrageous and deceptive. Beware! read more

Public Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I needed to get a storage unit for my mom who sold her house and was moving across country. Ashley was amazing, very helpful and knew her stuff. When we had to schedule a UPACK pickup, she told us what was allowed and how to best proceed with loading, getting it picked up and then closing our unit with them. In a very stressful situation, Ashley made is manageable. read more

Ashley was my service representative and she was the best, she took care of all my needs in a very professional manner. She made moving my things in east and stress free. read more

Needed to store some items and came to this Public Storage location. Immediately, I was addressed in the most professional and courteous manner by the employee Ashley. She was helpful, informative and very easy to work with. There was another employee (a young African American man) who was also very courteous and helpful. The premises are clean and tidy, as well as the storage unit. I downloaded Public Storage app to my phone, which made it a breeze to access the gate, pay my bill and keep record of all bills and receipts. I highly recommend using this Public Storage location. read more

Storing personal property is expensive. Make sure to have insurance. I use public storage for the one promo, $1 for the first month. Normally, I don't store more than a few car loads of items, and for a few months I had jumped around in between locations. I have a coupe stories about PS. The fact that there is only one person working and the manual time-clock the office uses to tell you if there on break or will be back isn't current or approximate. I had come, read the sign, left and came back, yet no one was there to help. Normally I don't needed a dolly, but this day I did. I had the boxes in my car for a couple days before I came back and the same thing happened. It was discouraging to so the least. At some point I took that damn manual time-clock hanging in the window and threw it all around before I took it hostage. I did return. There were some words. Things worked out but it's coots way too much money to store your personals with so much limited access hours and office personnel. Check me if I'm wrong. read more

Like many of the other reviews about this specific public storage location I came here to leave a review for Ashley. It's rare when you come across amazing customer service and Ashley is an outstanding person/ employee. I come in from time to time to reorganize or pick up items from my job's storage unit. She is always so helpful and sweet. She'll come up with a solution for any problem you have. I'm very thankful for her kindness! Thank you! read more

Been a long time renter at this facility. Generally my experience has been a pleasant one, but I've had repeat issues with one employee in particular. Over the phone I was met with an attitude that was not very customer service friendly. It is what is, it's a storage facility and I don't expect much or any face-time with employees but entering the facility with looks of disdain or suspicion instead of a friendly demeanor is off-putting. Considering switching to a new company that better exemplifies courteous and professional employees. read more

The customer service at this storage facility is amazing!!! The manager Ashley is helpful and very responsive!!!!! The facility is very clean and safe. read more

Don't do public storage. They could care less about any customer service once you've signed with them. They are overpriced and will never answer your phone calls if any trouble happens. John the district manager can give two fucks. Just cares about the money and will hang up on you. Worst customer care. Not worth any penny. read more

Signed up here last week to take advantage of the first month free deal Public Storage locations offer from time to time. I met with Fernando, the manager here to handle my paperwork and go over the unit. He got me signed up and in and out of the office in 15 minutes. I highly recommend him and this location. It's not too busy, and Fernando is always available when you need assistance. There is a residential manager there as well so you have some added security after hours. Five stars all around. read more

Came here after leaving the Extra Space Storage on Pico (which I highly recommend you NOT going to) and had a very stressful day moving and trying to figure out a place to go. Found the Public Storage on google and found out that it had the "first month $1" special. Awesome! Went there and the girl that helped us, Kenyon, was soooooooo helpful. She welcomed us with a smile and excellent customer service. It was so refreshing to be treated so kindly and professionally after a loooong day of horrible customer service everywhere else I had been. Kenyon quickly showed us to the storage space which was conveniently on the first floor and right by the door. Awesome! After I told her I'd take it, she even rolled a moving cart up to the front office for me to start loading my stuff on. So considerate of her. She gave me all the information and helped me to fully know all the policies of Public Space. Quick and easy. Beyond Kenyon delivering exceptional service, the Public Space had better gate hours than the Extra Space I had previously been with and was much cleaner. If you're looking to store your stuff, definitely come here. Rates are what you expect in the city, but the great service definitely makes this one stand out above the rest. read more

I came to this public storage location because it's on my route home from work. I am interested in renting a unit but I did not know how to go about it. (1st timer here). I finally went in and there was this young girl Kimberly pina, she greeted me and then I told her that I was a first timer, she gave me all the information I needed and awnsered all my questions. I am forsure going to rent a unit and become a customer! It's always nice to speak to someone knowledgeable and kind. Thank you Kimberly P. For your help read more

I recently moved back home after college and purchased one of the basic storage units to hold my additional furniture. The unit was clean and spacious enough to encompass all of my belongings. Adam was a wonderful help! I'm happy that I chose this location. read more

John was great! Very knowledgeable and he made sure that we got the best storage area for our needs. This location is decent the office and the ground are fairly clean, the unit we ultimately selected was clean and I didn't notice any undesirable smells. I am a little concerned about the hidden costs; 19.99 for the lock and "required" monthly insurance. Unfortunately after the fact, I checked out a YouTube video and learned you ARE NOT required to buy their insurance (I'm going to see if I can get my money back). Thank goodness that they were decent about prorating the monthly fee. Finally we looked at a variety of Public Storage sites online and this one offered the best deal for making your reservation online. read more

Crenshaw/Coliseum location.. No, not feeling Public Storage.. Yes, nice people, sometimes late in opening the facility.. I've been doing business with Public Storage for about 6 months and they have already raised my small storage rent from $118 to $139.00.. When I called to question, sales said yes, they do raise the rent every 6-12 months.. I wished they would have said that when I signed up!! Greedy!! ! read more

I would give zero stars if it was possible. Customer service is simply non-existent. They never respond to phone messages--not even the district manager!--the office is eternally closed and they keep their one moving cart locked up in there, the light outside my unit has not functuoned for months despite repeated calls asking that it be fixed, including one to aforementioned non-responsive district manager. Also never responded to my message about suspicious guy who obviously waited for me to enter gate code, then walked away with a huge heavy backpack, looking back to see if anyone was following. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

After going to a different storage i realize these people where like the best. They actually help you and use some authority instead of the last place i went to they litterally made even paying them a problem. The location is good for a storage unit and the place is clean ive really never had any complaints here.... read more

This location is somewhat smaller than other Public Storage, so it's easier to unload your items. Parking was very accessible and carts are readily available. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this location. read more

This is crap. They need to change policy. I paid my monthly bill of 164.00 do as not to be late or delinquent. I moved out and closed my account on the 6th. I was then informed that i did not get a refund for the rest of the month, since it is a month to month rental. WHAT THE HELL. If i had known that i would have withheld my total payment and just moved out. This is not right!!!!!! read more
