Honestly not great. I had to come here with my job on multiple locations, as we have a storage unit here, but the front gate code was not working and they refused to give it to us since we didn't have the person on the account there. Okay, that's understandable, but the old employee no longer is at our company, and the management here would not help us at all unless we brought her in. It took us FOREVER to even get them to agree to this. Beyond that, the exit gate has been broken for months, there is one bathroom here which is almost always out of soap, the staff is rarely on-site even during normal operations, and there is a STRONG mildew smell throughout the building. The only redeeming factors are the security, cleanliness, and layout. Aside from that, I'd steer clear. read more

Maritza and Ulysses the property Managers always go above and beyond for their clients. I have rented with them for 3 years and I can say my belongings were well taken care of with the incredible Central Air Unit, constant pest control and cleanliness which I was able to take belongings out the same way I placed them there. Good security and lighting and a great garage space for any size moving truck to enter with ease. So with no further a due I highly recommend them. This place was great when I moved in on a large unit for a $165/month rate. But now including my mandatory renting insurance they jacked it up to $265/month. They increased the rent after the first 6 months, then the last increase a month ago was $50. Taking advantage of people in unstable housing arrangements/ homeless circumstances. So, #1 Prices are CRAZY expensive!!!! Unending rent increases! ( I know that's the case everywhere) #2 Elevators are crap - dial in and half the time the floor buttons are disabled. Wait for the door to close before entering code to hopefully get the darn thing working. Elevators are SUPER SLOW #3 Only elevators can get you up to the floor, 2 to be exact. Half the time one is out of service for weeks on end. #4 The exit gate is now out of service - been unusable for weeks. #5 The reason why the doors and elevators break down is because they treat us like criminals. How do you get a full elevator to move your stuff to your floor without holding the door open? Why not use a proper freight elevator with a stop switch and an open door switch? Now that would make too much sense. #6 NO LIGHTS AT NIGHT most of the time. I can't make any sense of how the lights work at night in the garage area - can't be motion sensor as I've driven in with other people in there when it's getting dark. BTW, the garage is dark during the day too - at least not well lit. It is completely dark the entire time I'm down there - that is so d@mn dangerous. Anyone could be waiting for someone to get in there and jump them. Obviously people are storing things valuable enough to pay to store them. The dark garage at night has been like that since I got here in July 2021 The franchise owner needs to get their priorities straight and I'm not talking about their pockets taking in the money. They obviously spent a lot on a new sign that took up a good portion of the parking spaces (in front of the elevator) for 3 weeks. They are VERY SLOW to get elevators and doors fixed. I would love to see us get together to get some of this rent back as the place was not operating at 100% and as a result it takes us much longer on average to access our units. This is a BIG inconvenience!!! read more

since public storage has manage to monopolize the storage space industry here in Los Angeles county(don't know about other areas), it has been beyond difficult dealing with them. unfortunately they are the only ones who have storage space in the areas where I need. thankfully the merger between life storage and public storage didn't happen! if it did, things would be worse. unfortunately life storage got bought out by extra space! This location is just as bad as the one on blake st. issues arose while I was being hit with an illegal eviction from my residence, and stimultaneously having my 3 storage units auctioned off at the Blake location! in a last ditch effort to save my residence and storage units(which were full of assets that belonged to my business YN INTERIORS INC), I filed for bankruptcy. When I gave the notice to the manager Carina, at the Blake location, she had not one bit or clue of what to do with the paperwork from the bankruptcy! Not one!! Even though the notice stated under federal law they were supposed to stop any further action against me or my business. Since they are so use to acting lawlessly without any checks and balances, carina and her supervisor were oblivious to how to handle the matter. Of course in my frustration I let them have a piece of my mind to their lack of understanding and unprofessionalism in handling a federal matter. Because here was a manager and her supervisor keeping me out of my storage units which held items(very expensive ones at that, some were priceless; like a Louis XVI desk covered in brass ornate fittings, a mid century credenza with an intricate locking system, and a French antique sofa which I have yet to even find a replica of and many more items) which took them about a week for me to get access! All of this while dealing with the eviction, unable to find an attorney that could help with that, even free services were doing nothing, so I'm forced out of my residence, unable to complete my paperwork in a timely manner for the bankruptcy it was dismissed, so I refilled only to have that one dismissed for the same reason. Which was something I communicated with the manager. Public storage, proceeded with the auction of my units. Without proper notice! Since I was unable to pay for cell phone and monthly business services like email, I didn't get notice of the sale of my units. Nothing was sent in the mail either. I had mail forwarding and nothing was sent. Furthermore I asked both the manage carina and her supervisor to provide me with the copies of emails and letters they sent so I would know of these auctions. They failed to provide them! So of course more frustration came from my end and I unleashed my rath! threatening with lawsuits! Which I have yet follow through with! Mind you I was basically ignored by the district manager asking for the paperwork which I'm entitled to! Another huge mistake they made was bulk my accounts together. as if they were separate weren't contracts. I had a personal use unit, and two business ones. They would take away access from all my units if one had a billing issue or if I left 1 minute past the time they close. So I ended up in the Inglewood location a few months later. I acquired the unit legally under my name and driver license. I was given the unit, only to be asked to leave by the manger there, and her district manage, all relating to the whole fiasco at the Blake location. I explained throughly that yes in fact the manger and district mangers were total imbeciles, morons, and bullies! I thought there was no way I owed or had a balance from my accounts. It was less than a thousand I owed them! One of my 3 units should have sold to cover the balance! It was 3! But once again I don't know what they sold for customer service refuses to get involved and force them to provide that paperwork! The manager carina tells me she can't give me that information to call her boss! Which I do only to be ignored! Now the manager at this location has been playing games deactivating to code to get access! needing the unit in the area I asked my employee to acquire a unit. He went in showed ID, unit was acquired, as a business account! all legally! The first 30 days of the first month we were kept out, code was deactivated! So there was no free month! Account was established November 1, 2023. I was billed for Decembe, and January both have been paid! And still access has been taken away! Mind you, the manager decided to deactivate the code on the 31st, of December. I was given access on the 30th After submitting payment when they left for the day they purposely deactivated the code! Which I hope you guys find this funny, I was locked the garage. You need to code to exit. to make matters worse only the front gate works. So to exit, you have to leave your car inside the garage, walk out through a door on the gate to get to the box and enter the code so it can open. The girl who works in the office needs to be let go. Being cold hearted , small minded and irrational must be a requirement to work here. I'm not sure why Public Storage is okay with their tenants being treated so poorly. This location is just as run down as the customer service. Something is ALWAYS broke whether it's an elevator or the exit gate. The bathrooms are never properly stocked and there isn't a place to dump your trash - not even a small trash can. They went up on the rent almost $200 yet they don't care to give the customers something worth paying for. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This location needs all new employees. They're incompetent , cold and very rude. I hate to jump to racism but I've literally witness them employees being kinder to a Hispanic lady than they were to the African American lady in front of me. There is no customers service and when you do need help they never seem to have any answers which is super frustrating. Most people who have units are business owners and we shouldn't have to deal with an attitude when we're just trying to get in and get out. It's always dirty and there's always a mechanical issue. I was having problems moving my things into my storage unit and he was so nice and helpful. Unless you want to pay inflated prices and get everything stolen, don't use this facility. I have a parking spot and a unit here. It was previously owned by Extra Space Storage. The rates were reasonable, the service was exceptional, the gates worked and everything was secured. I can't say any of those things since Public Storage took over. They raised my rates by over $50/month in 1 year. My work vehicle along with other vehicles were broken into over the holidays. All they could do was shrug at me and hand me off to someone else until there was no one left. I went to my unit last night and someone actually unlocked my unit, tossed the whole thing stealing and breaking half of my items and relocked the unit and left. The outside gates have been broken for at least 6 months now. They turn all the lights off in the garage by 8pm. They allow people to run businesses out of the garage, packing up food to sell for day. The office hours are only 9:30-6:00 now, but good luck reaching anyone by phone or in person during those hours. 10/10 do not recommend under any circumstances. read more

this location property manager has the worst customer service. she isn't very knowledgeable on proper policy and procedures. She has a Very nasty, arrogant disposition. i had a past due balance that she did not offer proper help or options for me to clear my balance up. She was very snobby and rude when I was talking to corporate about the matter. expressing that I may be talking to a foreigner or somebody from another state. Because nobody can just talk to corporate. She proclaimed she is property manager and what she says goes. She also expressed that if I didn't pay by a certain time a third party auctioneer would come to get my things. Well before the office even opened. Would not explain to me how the auction process worked. i am paying waaayyyyy to much for a 5x10 unit and I expressed many times that I am experiencing a Financial hardship. She offered no options to help me resolve my account. I even had my church pastor call to help me resolve the issue and she was nasty to my pastor as well.. public storage absolutely lost a customer of over 10 plus years. One bad apple can definitely spoil the bunch I would not recommend this property at all. The units are priced insanely high and customer service for lack of better terms trash!!! read more

Terrible customer service and poor elevator function. There are only two employees at this location, Genesis and Jose. Genesis is warm, bright and cheery. Very helpful at all times. Jose repeatedly interrupted my movers because the elevator door would not stay open for more than a few seconds, making it impossible to load furniture. He failed to inform us that the entire month would be charged, even if we moved out early. I'm stuck paying for 26 days of unused storage space that they will re-rent to another customer and make double. This despite the fact they allowed us to move in mid-month. Jose demanded we wear face masks while moving our equipment, even in the garage, even when presented with vaccination cards. Overall, some days I just left if he was working there because he was so difficult to work with. I would never recommend Public Storage to anyone, especially not this location. They entice you with a $1 promotion and then overcharge for unused time. read more
