Although the review I have read kind of scare me with the price increase, I am hoping that will not be my experience but I will update it , should it change. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Gina for my move in. She was informative , professional, kind and efficient. I appreciated how thorough she was in providing all the necessary information yet didn't feel scripted. The unit was clean, keys and lock ready and everything just went very smooth. Only thing is the door in the front was a little wonky but my overall experience was great. read more

This place is horrible! I rented a unit here to temporarily store my stuff between moves. When I went to my storage unit, the whole floor smelled like mothballs and there were several moths flying around. Every time I go there, I see moths and I have a very expensive couch that I'm storing there and I am really worried about it getting infested with moths. The last two times I went the elevators were not working and one elevator could not take me to my floor. Had there not been someone on the premises that I eventually found, I would not have gotten up to my unit. She said there was a work order for the elevator. But two days later when I came again, the other elevator was out of service and the worker said that she put a work order in. This is a huge facility with only two elevators. If one ejector is not working, that's a problem. On top of that, there a wet e no carts available. The worker said there should be 4 carts. First of all, there should be way more than 4 carts available for such a large facility. Second, she said people take the carts and put them in their storage units. Really?! Well if you know people are doing this, why don't you require customers to give their ID to get a cart and then when they return the cart, they get their ID back? Why don't they have a system in place to prevent customers from stealing carts and putting them in their units? Why do customers feel the need to steal carts? If there were enough carts, there would be no need to hoard them. The topping on the cake was seeing empty junk food wrappers and cans of soda in the elevator. Perfect breeding ground for rats and roaches! This place sucks! read more

This is a below-par facility in terms of service and the rates become exorbitant over time. Carts can't be easily obtained, 1 of 2 elevators was out of service for 6+ months, and people were living in the storage area. Glad to be out of this facility, Convenient location. read more

We have our storage unit on the second floor! I'm 70 years old my daughter is 47 both of us had back problems! No cart both time once to unload a U-haul the next time we had to wait for one and one is all they had. She said someone keeps stealing them well keep them in your office. Have them check them out. Have them return them or they get charged for simple common sense we paid for this storage building. We should be able to have something to load and unload our storage building with. read more

I've had storage here for 12 years, if I wasn't out of the country I would have left this facility after the first month. Overpriced, poorly staffed. Regretted my choice since the first day. Praying I get the opportunity to move my stuff anywhere but here. read more

This place is garbage and overpriced. The staff is the worst, incompetent, unprofessional, ignorant, uneducated...good luck on needing a cart to take your stuff up to your unit. Good luck with anyone being in the office. They love to raise the prices to an insane amount..GARBAGE storage facility read more

Signed up online for the $1 first month special. Arrived to realize you need a ladder to access it. I asked to cancel my online transaction and they said $24.00 would not be refundable. Clearly a scam they have set up. Called corporate and they said it is up to the regional manager on whether or not I would be refunded (Jacob). The front office said that regional managers do not work weekends so I now have to wait until Monday. I have another unit here I use for work and you should also know that the place smells of mold. Their solution is to sell you the $10 damp rid along with the mandatory $15 a month insurance and the $20 lock that they hit you with on top of your $24 administrative fee and misc taxes. In the last year I have received two phone calls saying that pooling water was in the unit next to mine and that I would need to check mine for water damage asap. Both times I have been lucky and found no water made it into my unit but I think the high humidity and smell are directly related to what ever is leaking on the 6th floor. You should also know that the dumpster is locked and for staff use only and there are no trash cans on premise. read more

AVOID THIS STORAGE FACILITY, save your time, energy and money. I've had 2 large storage units at this location for 5+ years. When I first leased a unit here, the long term staff were AMAZING, that was many years ago. Fast forward to today, such a different story!!!! . All carts are locked up, be lucky if an agent/office manager is available to let you sign out on a cart, the bathrooms are locked but clearly not to cockroaches - seen many at this facility including my unit... many times I've arrived and the entrance doors are wide open to anyone to walk in.... This location stopped taking shipments to my unit, even though they held a key to my unit. Again, waste of time and money - AVOID THE HASSLE AND YOUR TIME read more

Gina was amazing!! She called me first thing in the morning to confirm my reservations. We discussed the best options for my storage needs and invited me to come down to check them out. I eventually upgraded because my original option wasn't suitable for my needs after the visit. Registration was seamless. Greatly appreciated Gina's guidance! read more

I have never rented a Storage unit ever. The front desk woman was so helpful and patient. Answered all of my questions and walked me to my unit. Very shocking how kind she was in this day and she. read more

20% Rate Increase in 4th Month. Teaser Monthly Rate with first month free. They raised my rent before I even got the place filled up. Zero customer service. Additional 7% rental tax not disclosed. Great deal if you need the place a month or two. Do not list anyone else as having access rights because that will stop them from being able to get a future rent discount!!! read more

I appreciate great customer service, and Gina has been a long term person to go to will all my storage needs. Thank you for all your help and professionalism. Location is very clean and right by Pprt Everglades entrance by SR84. Great locations that have been very safe. The port security is right near the entrance --- Well, had to update as customer service was horrible. We tried to change to a smaller unit (price keeps going up), but the unit they promised was rented out from under us I. The old bait and switch to a long term (former) customer. Move immediately to Storage King USA, and appreciate the price and customer service. Larry will take good care of you! read more

They only have 3 moving carts, which are constantly in use, so every time you need to move something large there is a wait. Also, rates here continuously go up, and they know people will just pay instead of going through the trouble and changing storage facility (and I don't just mean the recent tax increase). For what they charge, they should make it convenient for people and have plenty of carts. read more

Friendly employees. Clean, secure and easy access. And always has sheep rates. I recommend to everyone.

I have utilized storage facilities in the past and they have been filthy - inside and out. Beat up and overall an eye sore. Not this one! Beautiful, clean (even the parking lot) the ladies working the front desk are funny and always smiling. The entire building is temperature controlled and in case of hurricane have a plethora of back up generators - this is a bonus for me as I am in the wine business and will be storing samples in my unit as well as POS...IE:plastic wine buckets, plastic stemware etc..that could melt in extreme heat. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful clean location lots of carts and very conveniently located

Our rent went from $195 to $218 per month in 6 months and the rent tax went from $11 to $14 and the reason given was operational costs. Yet our same size unit is available right now online for $140, but they can't give us a rate reduction because the difference is so huge. You think? My friend moved out of her unit there today and we will be moving out before the end of this month. Customer service was great, but I'm not going to pay more so someone else can pay less for the same size unit. read more

We rented there for about two years, including through two hurricanes. The place is well run, maintained and friendly. One of the things I appreciated is that they never raised the rates beyond the initial agreement. Two things to suggest 1. Need ability to change credit cards online 2. They need more carts. During the day, big time users may take several carts to load their trucks. Casual users like me wait. I think they only have about five carts. read more

This storage facility is well-located and it's great that they have so much covered parking for the big moving trucks and cars. You never get rained on! It's also nice to have a clean restroom and a water fountain right inside the door. The security seems really good here, the staff is helpful, and I would use this location again without hesitation (used them a few years ago, and again this year.) read more

Public storage is a great company! I should know,I've had to use them four times in the last two years. Each time I dealt with the same two women Gina and Jean. They take all the worry and hassle out of storing your belongings. If you look up customer service in the dictionary you will see both their smiling faces. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. They will screw you on your rent within a few months. They get you in at a lower cost and then send you an email saying they have to increase rent prices. Well once you're already there it's hard to change places. Also, it took them 4 months and 6 requests to change the burnt out light bulb in our unit. We were paying $350/month for a 10x15 and every time I was there I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see into the unit because it was so deep. Management could give a shit less. The manager would just stare at me with a blank look when I told her the light bulb had not been replaced. Then I called her supervisor and left two messages and never received a returned call. I finally decided to just take a day and hire some guys to help me move the unit when they increased my rent to over $400/month. I know we live in S FL and are used to paying more for things but that is outrageous. Combine the bait and switch high rent prices with equally shitty customer service and you have visited the Public Storage. read more

Gina was very friendly and helpful when I couldn't get into my unit. Nice location and friendly staff.

I was there to rent a storage and the ladies are awesome. They are so friendly and very welcoming. Thanks Shakira, Gina

Jean and Gina were very prepared when I showed up with my online reservation. It took all of 20 minutes to complete the paperwork and get a tour of the facility. Although the restroom was out of order the following week, I'm sure they will be right on to fixing it. The place is clean and orderly. read more

Told the owner requires a review every lease. Lady's were great! Forcing people to review sucks!

Great place! Gina was such a tremendous help and was patient while I was trying to determine which size unit I needed. Her friendly customer service was fantastic! I would highly recommend to all. read more

I've been a customer here for over 4 years and they have always been a great facility. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. The property is always tidy, inside and out. Excellent storage facility. Jean was so extremely helpful. Location is convenient. Great staff. Strongly recommended.

I have been here over 10 years storing my precious material goods. Employees have always been helpful and empathetic. Because I work on boats I am always off the radar with my communications and contacts with my emails and phone. Gina has often held my hand in sorting out my payments, and problems due to me being gone so much. She is a good investment there and should be recognized. read more

The help is wonderful but for such a large facility they have to few carts for the renters. Most times you go to the facility you have to wait. If I move out just one month of my payment would buy another roll cart. Seems stupid they do not have more but it is to the point I am sick of the aggravation of waiting every time I go there. read more

I went into PUBLIC STORAGE yesterday (February the 202013) and started a rental. When I was told the price, I mentioned to the woman that took care of me that there was a sign on the door stating that the first month would be $1, "OH no sir that is an old sign, it is half price for the first month" And today, the day after here at their WEB site they state the same first Mont for $1...! That isn't very nice treating people like that and they should honor what they advertising read more

Gina provided one of the most helpful customer service experiences I've encountered. Not only was she able to answer all of our questions, she offered to stay past closing and work overtime to meet our needs.
